The Necromantic Lord

It was already morning and John was unwilling to wake up, he had fallen asleep last time after seeing that weird figure. He could hear rummaging around him, the sounds were getting louder and louder and more irritating, he opened his eyes Percy was looking around throwing things around, he was emptying his closet. "Mom where is my hunting bow? It was somewhere in my room!" yelled Percy from his room. "Percy why the hell should I know, it's your bow. You went hunting with your father last year, I didn't see you with it when we came back." said his Mom.

"Oh shit John! I remember where I left my bow... I left in the woods, me and my father always hunt in the same place every year. The hunting ground west of our town toward the snowy mountains, you know that there is an awesome cave me and my father and modified, I probably left it there. But it's a three hour hike from town." said Percy walking from one side of the room to another. 'I was thinking about going to the skeleton camp today and see how things are going, but we can do that later. Percy did wake up extra early'.

John and Percy had breakfast and headed out! This time the guards didn't really mind them and just let go. They were headed toward the Snowy mountains, they actually didn't encounter enemies on their way to hunting ground, they did spot a couple deer along the way, they were looking and feeding of acorns. They fled as soon as they were found. After three hours through the woods, John and Percy had finally got to Hunting ground. "John to walk behind me, since there may be Trap that may still be active, we are almost there! The cave is just" said Percy with confidence.

"John look here, see what I was saying look at this Trip wire here. Dad must have forgotten it last year... Let me finish this real quick, we're almost there anyways" Percy stopped for a couple minutes and disarmed the trap. They walked an additional ten minutes until they were finally in front of a hill full of vines. "The cave entrance is behind the vines. Whatever you do, don't touch those vines they are actually poisonous and will give you third degree burns, trust me it won't be pretty" Percy said while he moved the vine with a stick.

The cave was pretty dark, Percy passed the stick to John so he could hold the Vines, so some sunlight can pass through and they could see inside. "Well we stocked enough firewood, for a couple weeks just in case we decided to camp for a long period of time."said Percy as he was building a campfire and finally lit it. He started making a torch with the materials they had stored in there, and lit it up.

"Finally we can see" said John with a smile. "See, easy as pie!" said Percy with a smug face. John rolled his eyes and decided to ignore him and changed the subject "So... where is this bow at?" said John. "Are you in a hurry John? Are your skeletons waiting for you?" said Percy in a childish manner.

'It is pretty obvious that Percy knows that I don't want to be here, I just came to accompany him. Why does he have to be such a jerk!' thought John with a hint of anger on his face.

They could finally see and they walked through the cave tunnel for like five minutes until they finally saw a door at the end. When they open the door the cave opens up and the things inside looked like a cabin, they even had two beds inside. "Wow, this must be a man cave!" John couldn't cover his amazement. There were trophies of different animals around the cave, there were even furs and pelts covering the beds. They even had a leather sofa. "Did you guys do all that?" asked John with amazement. "Obviously! most of the stuff in this room was made or processed by me and my dad! I know my way around leather and furs too" Percy paused while looking at the bow that was peeking at side of his bed and went to get it. "Oh boy I missed you!" said Percy while he started c.a.r.e.s.sing the bow. The bow was quite intricate, it was a big long bow! "What do you think about my bow?" asked Percy. "It's not better than my staff obviously" said John.

"Let's leave quick, I heard my dad say once not bring any guest that aren't related to the family." said Percy. Just as he said that mist started condensing around John and Percy, the torch light was blown off and they were covered in complete darkness.

John was pushed back by something a couple times. He activated his soul vision and was finally able to see again. Except he was now surrounded by spirits, that were angry by his presence. There was a total of around twenty to thirty spirits in this cave. Whenever I got close enough to them they would lazily swing at me. John calmed done and was thinking through his options. He is fighting against souls, and decided to activate soul siphon, sadly he didn't have a container to put the soul in. Since John didn't have a soulstone in hand it was directly absorbed by him, and he felt the soul start fighting with his soul and had a backslash. His soul is not strong enough to absorbed them like this.

"Percy! How can I explain this to you... I am surrounded by freaking ghost!" said John. "The only good thing is that I can see" he grabbed Percy's hand and started to dragged him out of the cave. "Wait I can't see! Hold on! don't go too fast!" Percy was complaining while I was dragging him through the cave."Ok... Percy can you care to explain to me why there are ghost there and why did your father said not bring any guests in?" said John with a serious face when they were finally out.

The mist was still coming out of the gate and moving towards both of them. With no intention of stopping. Spirits began to get closer and closer. John got his staff, summoned his flame and swung it toward them but it was rendered completely ineffective. They were just angry spirits, they are currently incorporeal and they won't die from magic damage or by hitting them with a staff. Only soul essence is able to kill them. 'If my soul were stronger, I could absorb them' thought John while he was walking away from the spirits full of disappointment.
