The New Issei

It has been three weeks since Akeno and Shuri have moved into Issei's Safe House. During that time Issei made them both artifacts that have several abilities. They are hiding their signature so that they cannot be sensed or tracked. Changing peoples perception of them, which only works for people that are looking for them or know them, of course it has no effect on Issei since he created them. This makes it so that if they ever run into those people then they would just pass them by without recognizing them. Healing, which can heal the wounds of the wearer. It is usually passive and when it is it just speeds up regeneration, healing small wounds and bruises. If the wearer is seriously hurt, then it heals them completely with a burst of power or they can speed up the healing process by focusing on the artifact and pouring their own energy into it. Energy recovery boost, which speeds up the recovery of energy they use. Finally he also put in a shield that activates when their life is in danger. For Shuri he also made her another artifact that stops her aging, but it will only last for one hundred years before shattering. She will then start to age normally again and he will have to make her another unless he manages to change her race in the future.

During these weeks Issei had also spent almost the entire time with the both of them training them and just spending time getting to know them better. Summer vacation had started just before he saved them so he could spend all the time he needed to with them. He had also used hypnotism on his parents, which he felt guilty for doing, to make them believe he left a month early to go to England so that he could stay over with Shuri and Akeno. Although he told them both that they are safe now, they still can't forget that night and often have nightmares about it. Also he did not feel right leaving them alone right after the incident.

Their training is going well and they are starting to get the fundamentals down. Issei knew that Akeno was a quick learner since even in the beginning of the anime she was as strong as a High Class Devil. So he believed with an extra year of training and actually being pushed by him to train harder she would be stronger than in the anime. As for Shuri, Issei was honestly surprised by her talent with mana. She is growing at the same rate as her daughter, maybe because of her lineage. It made Issei honestly glad that he would not have to worry about them not getting strong enough for the future. He had already made up their training schedule for the next few months, both the physical one and the magic studies one.

Issei had also not slacked off on his own training and made something that he should have made a long time ago, but had been relying on Ddraig for. He made himself a storage ring. He used space magic to make a separate space inside the ring that is a 100 meters on all sides and in the shape of a cube. He also made sure to lock it using his own magic to make sure no one but him could access it. After he made this he started to work on time magic, just to have something to do. He managed to learn how to reverse time on non living objects by up to ten minutes and to stop time for spaces he created, like his storage ring. He could do this for those spaces since they were made by him and he is in control of them. He could not use it in the real world because stopping time like that would take more understanding of the concepts of time and more power. He also needed more understanding to be able to reverse or speed up time on living beings. So it would be awhile before he could do much with this. During this time he also pushed his limits and reached the limit of Ultimate Class, it was finally time for him to step into the next Class.

Issei: "Lets do this Ddraig." He said while sitting cross legged and focusing his mana. He is currently in the underground training room at Shuri and Akeno's house. He had decided to give this house to them, so he no longer considered it a Safe House, but their new home. When he had told them this they had been so happy they hugged him and thanked him.

Ddraig: "All you need to do is focus your mana and let your body do the rest. The power up this time is more like an evolution since it is putting you on par with weaker gods." He said in a serious tone. "Relax and let your mana and body do the work."

Issei: "Okay here we go." He said as he relaxed and let his body and mana do the work. As soon as he did his body began to glow and he started to feel a burning sensation all over. It was not really painful but it was not pleasant either. He gritted his teeth and waited for the feeling to end. Half an hour later the light began to die down and the burning started to fade. His body had been reinforced again and his mana had compressed even more than before, the amount he had also doubled. It was a major power up. He felt amazing as he stood up.

Ddraig: "You might want to put some clothes on partner." He said while chuckling. As he said that Issei finally realized he was n.a.k.e.d and yelped before quickly taking clothes out of his ring and putting them on. He then looked around to make sure Akeno and Shuri did not see him like that. He then let out a sigh of relief when he saw they were not around.

Issei: "Why did my clothes get destroyed Ddraig?" He asked as he moved around testing out his new level of power.

Ddraig: "Your power was leaking as you went through the level up so they were vaporized. You also got taller and look a little older. Instead of looking like your eleven you look to be about twelve, which is just weird. You are nine and look like your twelve." He said as he checked over the changes Issei went through. "You also have another red streak through your hair on the opposite side from the other one." He said as he thought. "What I did not tell him is he got even more handsome, poor bastard. I just hope it does not get him tangled up with more problems in the future."

Issei: "Oh well, at least this will be the last power up for a long time. I did not really like that sensation, it felt like I was being burned." He said as he stretched and headed upstairs. When he got up there he headed to the living room to see Shuri and Akeno watching T.V. together. When they heard him approach they both looked over to him. Their faces instantly showed their shock at his changes.

Shuri: "Is that you Issei?" She asked in shocked tone of voice. "What happened to you?" On the inside she was thinking. "How did he suddenly get older, and why is he more handsome?" Her daughter was having similar thoughts.

Issei: "Yeah its me. You remember how I said that I was going to reach Satan Class today? Well this is just a side effect of my body getting stronger." He said as he sat down with them. When he had started training them he had explained the different levels for supernatural beings and for magic so they knew what he meant when he told them he was going to reach Satan Class.

Akeno: "Wow, the change is really drastic." She said while l.i.c.k.i.n.g her lips looking at him with a predatory look in her eyes. This sent a shiver up Issei's spine as he looked at Akeno warily. For the past three weeks she had not exactly been subtle with her advances on him. He thought she just had a crush on him because he had saved her and it would pass with time so he had been avoiding those advances. While he was partly right, Akeno had also fallen for him because of how kind he was to her and her mother.

Issei: "Well this will be the last power up I go through for awhile. Now I will focus on learning new magic and mastering this new power." He said as he sighed. "I will be leaving in a week so by then I must get used to my new power." Akeno and Shuri both looked sad when he said this. " Don't worry, I will only be gone for two months." He said while smiling at them.

Shuri: "We know, it will just be a lot less lively without you around here." She said as she smiled sadly at him. "Just make sure you call often, alright?"

Akeno: "Yeah, if you do not call us at least once every other day. I will go up there and drag you back here." She said with a dark tone of voice while glaring at him.

Issei: "I will, don't worry." He said as he gently smiled at them both. During these weeks he had come to see them both as family. He may not have fallen in love with them but he definitely considered them irreplaceable to him by now. They then continued talking about training and other random things until it was time to go to bed.

Issei: "I will see you both in two months. Take care of yourselves." He said as he waved goodbye to Shuri and Akeno at the airport.

Shuri: "We will. You be careful as well." She said as she waved back.

Akeno: "Bye Issei. Come back safely." She called as she looked like she was going to cry. Her mother then took her hand and led her out of the airport. Issei watched them leave before boarding his plane.

Issei: "Next stop England. You ready for this Ddraig? I think we are both going to enjoy this." He said with a smirk as the plane took off.

Ddraig: "What makes you say that partner?" Ddraig said in curiosity. He knew that whenever Issei smirked like that he was going to do something interesting.

Issei: "Lets just say I have a hunch about who is training Irina and if I am right we might get to meet some interesting people on this trip." He said as he leaned back in his seat in First Class and got ready for a nap.

Ddraig: "Now I am curious who you are talking about." He said while chuckling.

Issei: "You will find out when we get there." He said and soon after he fell asleep. Sixteen hours later and he was leaving the airport in London. When he came out of the door he was immediately caught in a tight hug.

Irina: "Issei I really missed you." She said as she hugged him even tighter.

Issei: "I missed you to, Irina." He said as he hugged her back.

???: "Okay you two stop getting in peoples way and lets head to the car." A woman who looked to be in her mid twenties said. She had brown hair that went to her shoulders and blue eyes. Her beauty made her look like an actress. She had a stern presence around her and her gaze was quite sharp. It made Issei immediately tense up. He knew who this woman was from reading the wiki on Highschool DxD and he had been looking forward to meeting her. As he followed her and Irina to the car he remembered her name and how strong she is. She is Griselda Quarta, one of the five strongest female exorcists.

Issei: "This vacation just got a whole lot more interesting." He thought while wondering if he could ask her for a sword spar.
