The New Issei

Issei and Kuroka got off the train when they got to Kuoh and headed straight for his house. They then stopped outside and Issei looked really nervous.

Kuroka: "It will be alright Issei. You are doing the right thing." She said as she held his hand. Issei had told her what he planned to do as they were walking over here.

Issei: "I know, but it still makes me feel bad. I am not giving them a choice." He said while grimacing and opening the door. "Mom, Dad. You guys home? I'm back." He called out as he headed inside with Kuroka following him.

Miki: "We are in the living room Issei." She called back to him. Issei then led Kuroka to the living room where his mom and dad were both sitting down watching T.V. They got up as Issei arrived to welcome him back but were surprised when they saw Kuroka. "Who is this Issei, and why is she coming home with you?"

Issei: "This is Kuroka, and I met her before I left for England. I ran into her on my way home and we got to talking so I invited her over." He said as he smiled at his parents.

Kuroka: "It is nice to meet you both. Issei has told me a lot about you." She said as she bowed her head slightly and smiled at them.

Miki: "It is nice to meet you to Kuroka. You can call me mother if you like." She said as she smiled at Kuroka causing her to blush. She had not missed the way Kuroka seemed to glance at Issei every now and then or how close she stood to him.

Gorou: "Well if you are going to call her mother you can call me father if you want to." He said as he smiled at her warmly. The care both of Issei's parents were showing her actually caused Kuroka to tear up slightly.

Kuroka: "Thank you, I think I will like calling you both that." She said as she smiled back at them while having tears in her eyes. Issei sighed at this and wrapped his arm around her to comfort her. This surprised his parents since they did not expect Issei to have a girlfriend.

Issei: "I wanted to keep it a secret for a little longer, but oh well. Kuroka and I are going out." He said as he looked at his parents while holding Kuroka. This caused his mother to let out an ungodly squeal and tackle them both in a hug while congratulating them both. His father was also smiling widely at this.

Gorou: "Congratulations to you both, and Issei I am proud of you for getting a girlfriend. I was actually really worried about you since you stopped hanging out with others after Irina left. Now I can see I had nothing to be worried about." He said while laughing and smiling widely. This caused Issei to get a tick mark on his head and Kuroka to laugh.

Miki: "Come sit with us and tell us all about yourself Kuroka. What made you fall for Issei? When did you get together? What is your favorite part about him?" She asked in rapid fire as she and Gorou both turned around to lead the way into the living room. As they did they both came to a stop with blank looks in their eyes before collapsing. Issei and Kuroka caught them before they could fall.

Issei: "I am so sorry." He said as he started crying. "I can't risk the both of you being harmed." He said as he and Kuroka carried them to the couches and laid them down. "Lets start the memory altering." He said with a sad look on his face as he looked at his parents.

Kuroka: "Don't worry Issei, you can still visit them after you relocate them. They will be safer away from the supernatural world." She said as she hugged him from behind. "I will be here for you. You will not be alone."

Issei: "I know, but it still tears me up inside to separate from them and manipulate them like this." He said while sighing. He had been planning this since the fight in England. It was time he moved his parents away from him and changed his background so people could not find them. He had asked Michael's help with this and he had agreed. Michael had helped him change his birth doc.u.ments so that his parents were different people and had supposedly went out of the country for the last year and left him there since he was smart enough to take care of himself. His last name had been changed as well. Michael had also helped him buy a house in a town close to Kuoh for his parents to live in and helped get his dad a job in a company there that is like his old one. All that was left was for Issei to change their memories to believe they had gone to there while leaving him in Kuoh because the job was better for his dad and his publisher and editor are in Kuoh so it was better for Issei to stay there. He was not changing the memories of his parents to much since he still wanted to have them as his parents. He did love them after all and wanted to be able to go visit them from time to time. "All done, now all that is left is to move all their stuff to the new house and get them to bed. My father will start work in two days and I will not have to worry about my enemies using them against me anymore." He said as he finished the minor alterations and began using magic to transport their stuff. An hour later everything was settled and he was back in his house with Kuroka. "Now we need to sell this house and move into the other with Shuri and Akeno, then their will be no connections that can be traced between me and my parents. Also my last name is now Yamamoto so call me Issei Yamamoto when we are out in public, Kuroka."

Kuroka: "I will don't worry. Your parents are now safe I would not mess up and expose them like that." She said as they cuddled on his bed together, getting ready to go to sleep.

Issei: "Well now we just need to train and live the way we want. So lets have fun together from now on, okay Kuroka?" He said as he smiled at her and then yawned. "But for now lets get some sleep. I will be introducing you to Akeno and Shuri tomorrow and I have a feeling I am going to need to be well rested for that. Goodnight Kuroka." He said as he kissed her on the cheek and pulled her close. Kuroka also cuddled closer to Issei and leaned on his shoulder as she yawned.

Kuroka: "Goodnight Issei, see you in the morning. I am also looking forward to our new life together." She said as she started to fall asleep in his arms.

In the morning Issei and Kuroka got up and cleaned the house out of all his stuff. They then put it up for sale and then left. Issei then took Kuroka to a mall to buy her new clothes and all the necessities she would need. They spent three hours doing that because Kuroka wanted to go to several clothing stores and get his opinion on all the clothes she tried on. It was Issei's first time experiencing this particular type of hell and he swore he would run the other way if she ever wanted to go shopping for clothes again. When that was done they finally headed towards Akeno and Shuri's house.

Kuroka: "Oh come on Issei it wasn't that bad." She said as she smiled teasingly at him as they walked towards the house. "Did you not enjoy helping me pick out some outfits you like seeing me in?" She said as she clung to his arm and smirked up at him.

Issei: "I loved seeing you in those outfits. This was just really exhausting for me. I have never done something like this before." He said while smiling wryly. They then arrived at the house. "This is the place." He said as they stopped outside the gate.

Kuroka: "Wow I would have passed right by without even noticing this house if you did not point it out." She said in surprise.

Issei: "That's the point. The house is heavily warded and is also made to look inconspicuous so that I do not have to worry about others finding it." He said as he led her to the door and knocked. A few moments later and the door opened to reveal Shuri standing there in an apron. she must have been making lunch when they knocked. "Hi Shuri, i'm back." He said while smiling at her. Shuri rushed forward and crushed him in a hug when she saw it was him.

Shuri: "What took you so long? Me and Akeno have really missed you. You could have called us and we would have come to get you." She said as she let him go and smiled warmly at him. She then noticed the girl standing next to him and her face darkened slightly as she asked in a sweet sounding voice. "Who is this Issei? A friend of yours?" As she said that Kuroka smirked slightly and then hugged Issei close to her. This caused Shuri's eye to twitch slightly. Even she did not know why she felt so bothered by another girl hugging Issei. She did not realize that her feelings of possessiveness was not just as friends but was closer to what someone in love would feel. She would only come to know this much later on.

Kuroka: "I am Kuroka and I am Issei's girlfriend." She said with a smug look on her face. Thanks to her Senjutsu she could easily feel how tangled Shuri's feelings are so she decided to give her a slight push. Maybe she could help her acknowledged what she feels sooner, but she knew it would take time since she could see how tangled those feelings are.

Shuri: "Issei, you never told me you had a girlfriend." She said while slightly glaring at him. "This is going to devastate Akeno" She thought while being worried for her daughter.

Issei: "It is a recent development. We just got together after I saved her. More importantly we have some things to discuss so lets go inside." He said as he hugged Kuroka to him and headed inside. Shuri followed them in and they headed to the living room. "Where is Akeno. She should be present for this." He said as he sat on a couch with Kuroka next to him.

Shuri: "She is training. I will go get her." She said as she headed out of the room.

Issei: "Now why don't you tell me why you did that earlier, Kuroka." He said as he tuned to look at her. "You seemed to be deliberately riling Shuri up. Why?"

Kuroka: "She is in love with you but since you are a kid and she just had a bad experience she can't acknowledge those feelings. At least that is what I can feel from my Senjutsu. So I just gave her a little push. It will probably take a long time for her to move on and accept what she is feeling but hopefully my pushing her a little will help." She said as she smiled at him. This caused Issei to be dumbfounded.

Issei: "She really feels that way about me? Are you sure she does not just see me as family?" He asked her doubtfully. This caused Kuroka to look at him with a look of disbelief on her face.

Kuroka: "Issei please tell me you are not that dense. That would make things so much harder in the future." She said while looking at him with a serious look on her face.

Issei: "I am not dense. I just have no experience with anything related to romance." He said in a defensive tone of voice. Kuroka just sighed at this. Luckily for Issei Akeno came charging into the living room at this time.

Akeno: "Issei!!! I am so glad to see you!!" She said as she jumped on him hugging him. Kuroka who saw this just sighed.

Kuroka: "Not another one." She thought to herself. "Thankfully she knows she loves him and is not afraid to admit it. But her emotions are still pretty tangled. She must have gone through something traumatic recently like her mother." She thought while looking at Akeno.

Issei: "It is good to see you to, Akeno." He said as he pulled her off of him and sat her down next to him. At this point Akeno also noticed Kuroka and went on guard.

Akeno: "Issei who is this and why is she so close to you?" She asked in a to sweet tone of voice that caused Issei to start sweating. Kuroka then clung to his arm and smiled at Akeno causing Issei to sweat even more. Even He at least knew this was not good.

Kuroka: "My name is Kuroka and I am Issei's girlfriend." She said while smiling sweetly at Akeno. This caused Akeno to look shocked and then hurt.

Akeno: "Is this true Issei?" She asked as she began to cry. "Do you really already have someone you like?" She asked as she looked at him with hurt and fear in her eyes. She thought that this might mean that Issei was abandoning them like her father had. Kuroka felt the emotions Akeno was feeling and immediately panicked. She quickly got up and went to hug Akeno.

Kuroka: "You don't need to cry Akeno, Issei plans on having a harem. So if you can accept that you can still be with him." She said as she held Akeno close and rubbed her back.

Akeno: "Really? Than I can still be with him?" She asked in a hopeful tone of voice as she looked up at Kuroka.

Kuroka: "If that is what you want, then yes." She said as she smiled gently at Akeno. She then turned to glare at Issei. "Get over here." She growled at him causing him to flinch slightly before sighing and moving closer to the two of them before wrapping them in his arms.

Issei: "Are you sure you want this Akeno?" He asked in a soft voice as he looked at her.

Akeno: "I have wanted this since you saved me and mom. The feelings just got stronger as you were away. Please accept me." She said looking at him with hopeful eyes.

Issei: "If that is what you want, then alright." He said as he smiled at her. Shuri cleared her throat after this, she had been standing there for a few minutes but did not want to interrupt them. But she felt quite bad seeing and hearing all of this.

Shuri: "You said you had something important to tell us." She said as she walked over and took a seat on one of the other couches. Issei and the girls separated before sitting down with Akeno on one side of him and Kuroka on the other.

Issei: "Yes, I need to tell you the truth about myself and about what has happened recently." He said as he looked at Shuri and then Akeno with a serious look on his face. He then proceeded to tell them about his true strength and that he is the Red Dragon Emperor. About the things that happened in England and the decision he had made about his parents. The whole thing that had happened with Kuroka and her sister. He ended it all by saying that him and Kuroka would now be living with them here but if they did not want them to he could buy a new house and live there with her. Everything he told them was a lot to take in but they still cared for him and told him as much. They were not worried about his status or the troubles it may bring.

Shuri: "Of course you can stay here. This house was originally yours to begin with. I also do not care about you being the Red Dragon Emperor, you would protect my daughter and me if anything ever happened." She said while smiling at him warmly.

Akeno: "Yeah, plus me and mom will train hard so that we can help you in the future. You wont need to always protect us or worry about us then." She said while clinging to his arm and smiling.

Issei: "Thank you both." He said while smiling happily at them both. Shuri then went to make lunch as Issei told Akeno and Kuroka about all the fun things he did in England. When lunch was done they all ate together and then went to train for the afternoon. After they were done training they ate dinner and got ready for bed. When Akeno found out that Kuroka was sleeping with Issei she got jealous and demanded she be allowed to as well. Issei just sighed and allowed it so that they could all get to bed. He then went to bed with both Akeno and Kuroka clinging to him, but he was feeling kind of complicated about it.
