The New Issei

Issei: "It is nice to meet you as well Mr. Gremory." He said while keeping his face expressionless and shaking his hand. Issei, Sirzechs, and Mr. Gremory then all went and took seats on different couches and Grayfia went to stand behind Sirzechs.

Sirzechs: "We are here today because Rias has fallen in love with Issei and he has accepted her as his girlfriend. He has also agreed to fight as her champion to break the engagement with Riser. I am here to act as a witness to both of your viewpoints on this and any arguments and deals that may take place today." He said in a serious tone of voice while looking at them both. "Do either of you have any opposition to me being the witness for this meeting?" He asked.

Mr. Gremory: "I am fine with it." He said in a stiff tone of voice.

Issei: "I have no problems with it either." He said while smiling slightly. "Looks like this might be more of a big deal than I thought it would be." He thought after seeing how serious both Sirzechs and Mr. Gremory were being.

Sirzechs: "Then lets get this meeting underway. You two can discuss freely and I will not get involved." He said as he leaned back in his seat and gestured for us to begin.

Mr. Gremory: "So lets get right to the main issue. What can you offer the Gremory household if you are allowed to be together with Rias? If it is not satisfactory then I have to oppose this relationship." He said in a business tone of voice. This caused Issei to seethe on the inside as Rias's father treated her as a business commodity instead of as his daughter, but he managed to keep his face calm and composed. He was used to dealing with this kind of people from his past life. Sirzechs also had a blank face as he heard this.

Issei: "As Rias's champion I can say your opinion does not really matter at this time. I will fight Riser and beat him and she will be free from any marriage's being forced on her for the next one hundred years. By that time she will be an a.d.u.l.t and you will no longer have a say in her marriage life." He said with a blank look on his face while smiling slightly.

Mr. Gremory: "She will still be a member of the Gremory family and unless she manages to take over as the next head by then she will still be marrying who I tell her to. She is an asset to the family and will be used accordingly. If she cannot even be used to tie an ally family to us then she is useless until she proves otherwise." He said in a calm voice as he narrowed his eyes slightly at Issei.

Issei: "Treating your own daughter as nothing more than a commodity. You disgust me. The only reason I have not crippled you at this point is because you are the father of Sirzechs and Rias. As for what I can contribute to the Gremory household? Protection. I am as strong as Sirzechs and one of my specialties is Enchantments. If I provide wards for the household it would be incredibly hard for any member to be harmed. That is all I am willing to give someone like you." He said in a cold tone of voice as his eyes turned slightly draconic and flashed with anger. This caused both Sirzechs and Grayfia to stiffen since they knew angering a powerful dragon was not a good idea.

Mr Gremory: "Hmph!! Bluffing will get you nowhere. Sirzechs is the strongest devil alive. There is no way a nobody like you is as strong as him. If you want to marry Rias you need to prove your capabilities and provide an adequate amount of resources to finalize the deal. The Phenex family has offered hundreds of millions in assets as well as access to a large amount of Phoenix tears and a treaty to bind our families together mutually. What you have to offer cannot even come close." He said while looking at Issei disdainfully.

Issei: "Sirzechs was I bluffing?" He asked calmly as he looked at Sirzechs while inside he was nearly at his breaking point. In his past life it was a lot easier to keep calm but now that he is half dragon restraining himself right now is incredibly hard. Sirzechs could see that Issei was getting close to snapping and he really did not want to fight him so he decided to intervene.

Sirzechs: "Issei is telling the truth. If I was to fight him all out I do not know who would win. His Enchantments are also on another level compared to others. If he places wards I do not know if Even I would be able to break through them in a short amount of time." He said in a serious tone of voice while looking at his father to show he was not kidding around. This caused Mr. Gremory to pale slightly and clench his hands as he turned to look at Issei with slight fear in his eyes.

Mr. Gremory: "I apologize for my rude comments towards you just now Issei. I did not know of your standing considering how young you are." he said while having cold sweat run down his back.

Issei: "Just tell me whether or not you accept my terms." He said while glaring slightly at Mr. Gremory.

Mr. Gremory: "Of course. My household would be happy to have you court Rias and we will keep it confidential until you beat Riser." He said quickly while panicking.

Issei: "Then we are done here. You can go now. I still have matters to discuss with Sirzechs." He said while letting about a bit of his pressure to get his point across. This causes Mr. Gremory to immediately stand up and bow to both Sirzechs and Issei before hurriedly leaving. As soon as he was out of the door both Sirzechs and Issei burst out laughing.

Sirzechs: "I think that was the first time I have ever saw my father that frightened." He said after calming down.

Issei: "If he had insisted on pushing things a bit more he would of really had a reason to fear me." He said grimly while smiling coldly.

Sirzechs: "Well at least this unpleasant business is out of the way now and we can move on to more interesting things." He said in a more lighthearted tone of voice.

Issei: "Yeah I need some stress relief after that annoying meeting." He said and then sighed as he leaned back into the couch.

Sirzechs: "Well then how about we spar a bit to loosen up?" He asked with a mischievous glint in his eye. It had been a long time since he had gone all out and he wanted a chance to really cut loose.

Issei: "Sure. I need a good work out anyway and fighting someone new might be fun." He said while grinning. The chance to have a good fight was getting him excited like when he fights Michael.

Sirzechs: "Grayfia set us up a dimension for the fight." He said as he stood up. Issei also got up and followed them both outside.

Grayfia: "Right away, Mr. Lucifer." She said as she went outside with them. When she got outside she created a separate dimension like the ones used for rating games and Issei strengthened it so that it could take their fight. Then he and Sirzechs flew out to the center of it and started to release their respective aura's.

Issei: "I hope you are ready Sirzechs, I have a lot of stress I need to work off." He said with a slightly evil smirk on his face that made Sirzechs think it might not have been such a good idea to propose this little match after all.

Sirzechs: "I need a good stress relief session as well so I will not be holding back." He said as red demonic energy began to leak off him in waves.

Issei: "I would expect no less." He said as his own genesis Mana began leaking off of him. He then kicked off the ground and moved instantly to Sirzechs side. A sword of light formed in his hand and he slashed at Sirzechs.

Sirzechs: "Not bad, but to slow." He said as he dodged by moving slightly out of the way and then sent a condensed ball of destruction at Issei at point blank range. Just as the ball was about to hit him Issei teleported behind Sirzechs and sliced again with his sword while also using his space powers to turn the space around Sirzechs solid to hold him. Sirzechs covered his whole body and the area around him in his power of destruction, shattering the space lock and Issei's sword at the same time. Both of them were pushed away from each other from the clash.

Issei: "Not bad Sirzechs. I didn't think that you would be able to shrug off my space lock that easily." He said in an exited tone of voice as he began to let out even more Genesis mana around him.

Sirzechs: "It was not easy. That space lock would have held me if you were just a bit stronger. Of course that's if neither of us get serious." He said while smirking. "Now lets see what you will do against this." He said as he started creating numerous spheres of destruction around himself before sending them towards Issei at ridiculous speeds. He also kept several around himself in case Issei teleported again.

Issei: "This is so exciting." He thought with a wide smile on his face as he summoned a sword that gave off a ridiculous amount of holy energy to his hand. This sword was his recreation of Excalibur. He then proceeded to cut through any of the balls that got close to him while moving like he was dancing smoothly through them all. His actions caught Sirzechs off guard and his beautiful display of swordsmanship caused him to be slightly dazed.

Sirzechs: "He has already reached such a level with nothing but his sword and movement techniques. He truly is a monstrous talent." He thought as he also began to smile with anticipation. He then made numerous spheres surround Issei from all sides and move in erratic patterns as he moved them in to defeat Issei.

Issei: "Time to get serious." He thought as he started controlling space to create distortions to swallow up the spheres, these distortions looked like miniature space rips and were extremely dangerous. The spheres also managed to destroy the space distortions causing mutual destruction. As this was happening Issei summoned the Boosted Gear and immediately went into his Balance Breaker. He then started to boost himself as he rushed towards Sirzechs.

Sirzechs: "He has the Boosted Gear as well!! I need to step things up." He thought as he started making huge spheres of destruction and sending them at Issei to slow him down while creating a massive sphere above himself.

Issei: "If that hits me I am definitely going to be feeling it in the morning." He thought as he gulped while looking at the sphere of destruction the size of a house and growing above Sirzechs head. He then swung Excalibur while enhancing the swings with his light element to send out large arcs of condensed light to cut apart the several huge spheres of destruction that were as big as himself while still dodging or using space distortions to take care of the numerous small spheres. as he was doing this he had to slow down and that was exactly what Sirzechs wanted.

Sirzechs: "This should at least injure him." He thought as he strained to control the massive sphere of destruction above himself. It now looked like a blood red miniature sun. As Issei was detracted with all the spheres of destruction around him Sirzechs used magic to create several ropes of darkness that came out of the ground beneath Issei and bound his legs while at the same time Sirzechs sent the massive Sphere directly at Issei.

Issei: "Oh crap, time to run." He thought as he immediately tried to teleport. But as he did he felt the ropes of darkness binding his legs negate his teleportation. This greatly hocked Issei as he had never had his space element be countered before. He quickly snapped out of his daze as he summoned a giant shield and placed it in front of him facing the massive sphere coming towards him. "True Name, unveiling——I shall rise to the Siege Perilous."

"The place that cures all wounds and dissolves all hatred, our home, sits here!――"

"Manifest, Lord Camelot!" He said as a massive fortress formed around him made out of energy. When the sphere of destruction and the fortress clashed a massive explosion took place. After the dust settled it showed the fortress half destroyed and Issei standing there unhurt while panting.

Sirzechs: "What the hell was that?!!" He asked in a surprised tone of voice as he approached Issei. As he did Issei undid his Balance Breaker and dismissed the shield. they had both had a good workout and the spar was over. they were not trying to kill each other so there was no need to bring out their stronger attacks and forms.

Issei: "Just one of my unique abilities. Without it you might have knocked me out. How did you manage to negate my control over space?" He asked in a curious tone of voice as he walked over to Sirzechs. as he did the dimension they were in started to fade away and they were back at Sirzechs mansion.

Sirzechs: "It's a spell designed to make people who are good at teleportation unable to do it. Of course if given time the truly strong can just break out of it. But in the middle of a fight even a few seconds can mean victory or defeat." He said while smiling as Grayfia joined them and they all headed inside and back to Sirzechs study.

Issei: "Yeah it really shocked me and instead of thinking of breaking out of it I was forced to defend because of a few seconds delayed reaction." He said while shaking his head ruefully as they all sat down.

Sirzechs: "You really surprised me. not many people can stand up to me like you did and you are this generations Red Dragon Emperor so you will only continue to get stronger." He said while smiling. "I haven't been able to cut loose like that in awhile."

Issei: "I was keeping it a secret until I was strong enough to protect myself and my loved ones." He said as he also smiled while leaning back in his chair.

Sirzechs: "I can see why you would do that. Thanks for a good spar, I really enjoyed it." He said while relaxing on the couch.

Issei: "No problem, I enjoyed it as well." He said as he also relaxed. They then spent the next few hours talking about various subjects and magic before Issei went back home. When he got home he was immediately dragged into the living room and spent the rest of the day having fun with all the girls who had gotten to know each other while he was out. They seemed to have gotten pretty close and Issei was thankful there were no problems with their first meeting.
