The One Who Collects

After they took their books, they started learning about their bending. Adan stayed on the east side of the first floor to read. He said he needed peace and quiet to focus. Aaron stayed on the 14th floor of the middle tower. Aerin stayed on the north rundown tower. Agate stayed on the 16th floor of the central tower. Adam stayed on the throne.

The start of the training was chaotic. No one was serious about reading all the books, except Adam and Agate. Adan, Aaron, and Aerin kept distracting Agate. They couldn't distract Adam because of the steps. Agate kept reacting to their distraction, so they kept distracting him, but after one month, he stopped reacting, so they stopped distracting.

Three months after the beginning of the training, Aaron finished discovering the martial art that suits every one of them. Aerin martial art focused more on careful attacks to kill quick. Agate martial art focused on taking advantage of his opponent's blind spot and tricking his opponent. Adan focused on pure attack. Adam martial on speed and taking advantage of his opponent's blind spot. Aaron trained on a martial art that trades an attack for an attack. When Adan asked him why he is not training all the martial art, he said that some martial art doesn't fit him and will destroy his talent.

Agate didn't need to read the book about water-bending so he finished reading the book about his martial art three weeks later. He could have finished it earlier but found it boring, so he wasn't too motivated to read it.

One month after they got their martial art, everyone, except Adam, finished reading the book about their bending and martial art. This is because Adam wanted to read the real books about all the bending, not the shortened version. He did this to store it on his mind library so he will never forget them. He also read all the books about martial art. He thought that since he has the mind library he could combine all the martial art and make an alpha martial art. For this, he had to make a book that focuses on all the martial art books in the library.

For Agate to train his water-bending, he had to go out of the library to find Cactus for its juice. After three weeks he gathered 15 liters of Cactus juice. He also found the difference between the three types of water-bending. The difference was, The Northern water-bending style seems to traditionally perform more defensive, strategic, and architectural techniques in water-bending, while the Southern water-bending style seems to be more aggressive and offensive than the Northern style while the foggy swamp style keep a rigid and straight stance, possibly reflecting the usually stagnant nature of water in their swamp homelands, and use stiff and circular arm movements to move water like a propeller Instead of the fluid, graceful movements of the other two water-bending styles.

Adan mostly stayed outside the library to train his fire bending because he didn't want to burn the books and the heat of the desert will also help him.

 Aerin stayed on the north tower because he wanted to make a new style of earth bending which is dust bending but, he sometimes comes out to practice sand bending. He also practices earth bending using the earth that makes up the tower. 

Aaron stayed on the first floor to practice his martial art and because the floor is basically a maze, and can be used to improve his memory and sense.

One year after the beginning of the training, Adam finally finished creating his alpha martial art. It is a martial art that focuses on everything, be it taking advantage of his opponent's blind spot, quick, successive attacks that exert extreme power, dodging, or the Eight Trigram Palm movement art. When he told Aaron about the martial art he created, Aaron said that it did not fit him because it has too much style. It fitted Adam because he has different bending, and he always focused on multiple results, not one result. 

To Adam to practice Air-bending, he stays on the roof of the central tower because it was the highest point of the tower where the strong breeze helps his Air-bending. He practices his earth-bending with Aerin because, as Z said, he had a high talent for earth-bending. He practices his fire bending with Adan and water bending with Agate since they have a higher mastery than him.

Two years after the beginning of the training, Adam became a master in his fire bending and Z was done adding things to the physical power level on the system. 

*FlashBack*

Adam was sitting on the top of the middle tower, meditating and feeling the air like he normally does.

[You are still training?]

"Shit," Adam shouted, trying to regain his balance. "I almost died man!"

[Seriously, you are still training? If I wanted to be evil, I could reduce your time.]

"Like you said, to do some things, I need to be strong to collect certain things, like kill a dragon and take his heart. How do you expect me to kill a dragon without getting strong?" He said, sitting back in a meditation position.

[By buying things from my shop. That what it there for. Ok, I added the martial art branch to the physical power level.]

"Huh? Why?"

[Are you stupid? People can defeat others with only martial art, even if they have different physics. Like Yujiro Hanma vs Kaioh Kaku, who do you think will win?]

"Who are those? I don't know who those are."

[Ok forget about that. Each martial art adds to your power level. Martial art has no max, the better martial art is, the more points it adds to your... well power level. This will make the power level tab more accurate.]

"Oh, ok?" 

[Be happy. If it wasn't for me, you will go and fight someone like Kaioh Kaku thinking his power level is low, and DIE.]

"Thanks? Ok, I am going back to training now."

[How long are you going to train for?]

"Three more years."

[Hmmm.]

During the third year of training, Adam finally became a master in air bending and pro in the rest of his bending. After he reached master in air bending, he could form a tornado big enough to cover the caste if he wanted to.

Aerin became a master in Earth-bending and he also created dust bending. Dust bending is when you will be able to control the smallest earth and also turn anything made of earth into dust. If you reach the same master in dust bending(He created it so he is a master) and earth-bending as Aerin did, you will be able to turn part of your body into dust. 

Adam practiced dust bending with Aerin and became a master in dust bending and became able to turn part of his body into dust. If he turns his hand into dust, it will be able to pass through any gap in objects. Aerin is still a master in Dust bending but able to turn more part of his body into dust.

Adan fire became blood red. The heat ranging from 750°C to 900°C, while Adam flame heat ranged from 640°C to 800°C. This was measured by a room that is a huge thermometer.

Aerin became a master in water bending. Which enabled him to draw water from the atmosphere, switch between ice and water like its nothing, create fog, or even create snow and his ice temperature can go as cold as -57°C. He also found the difference between the three styles of water bending. The traditional Water-bending styles of the Northern and Southern Water Tribes focus on graceful, fluid movements for their attacks. The Northern Water-benders seem to traditionally perform more defensive, strategic, and architectural techniques in Water-bending, while Southern Water-benders seemed to have been more aggressive when fighting and showed to have used more offensive techniques. But for the Foggy Swamp Style, instead of the fluid, graceful movements of the other two Water-bending styles, they keep a rigid and straight stance and use stiff and circular arm movements to move water like a propeller.

During the fourth year, Aaron was bored and wanted to fight humans to test his strength. So they went on a hunt for the Beetle-headed merchants to 'avenge' their dead brothers. They found the Beetle-headed merchants three weeks after the beginning of their search. They were staying in a place which was called Misty Palms Oasis. It was a small town with a small pond that looks almost dried up, in the center.

The first thing they did when the got there was to cover the library with sand.

"Ok, how should we do this?" Aerin asked while, with the help of Adam, covering the library with sand.

"First we should Test our physical strength. If we can destroy this small settlement and kill everyone in it without using our bending, then we will know if our physical has improved enough to go out without too much problem." Adam said, nonchalantly.

"You're saying it like I should go and slaughter innocent like that. I have killed before but not the innocent. I won't do it and I won't let you do that," Adan said, folding his arms.

"You want to be a legend and you can't kill innocent people? For you to actually be a legend, you have to do things that will never be forgotten. I am willing to slaughter an entire settlement to achieve this. A hero in a book I read had to slaughter an entire race before he could become a legend." Adam said while stretching. "Think of this as the beginning of our legend. Adan, you said this yourself 'The strong survives and the weak die. So let get strong and not be killed.' Despise the weak and fear the strong. We should leave with that saying. Does anyone have a problem?" Adam asked, looking all of them in the eyes. They shook their heads hesitantly. "So let go and fight."

[You are saying it as if you have killed before... Oh yeah, I forgot, you killed many people, even children, during your experiment. You really are a savage.]

'If anyone had to kill a child or let their family die, they would do the same thing. Everything with conciseness is savage. They will do anything for their survival or their happiness. Even heroes. They will annihilate an entire race for their race to survive, with a smile on their face.'

"You are acting like our leader now," Aaron said, slapping Adam's back. "Good for you."

"You should be our new leader, Adan was never good at being a leader, right Adan?" Aerin said, looking at Adan, grinning.

"Honestly, I don't care. I am getting old and this will give me more free time and help me stop thinking about our future. That will be your job now, Adam." Adam said sincerely.

"You just push your responsibility to me. We should stop wasting time and go." Adam said running into the settlement to start their 'test'.

The settlement was easy to slaughter. Aaron was like a monster, tearing everything in front of him without caring about his body. Agate was like a snake, moving around the battle unhindered, killing and destroying things without getting hit. Aerin was like a scorpion, killing everything and destroying things with precise hits. Adan was like a tiger, tearing everything in front of him savagely. Adam was like an unpredictable animal. Sometimes fighting like Agate, the next second fighting like Adan. Switching between multiple martial arts like it is a normal thing.

At the end of the battle, the settlement had blood all over and had a strong stench of blood. No one was left alive.

"I feel bad for all these people we killed," Aaron said frowning. "The first time I ever killed many people at once. When we were thieves, we only had to kill some guards, not a whole settlement like this."

"Don't worry, we will have to get used to it. I have killed before, but not innocents like this. Adam, you don't look too fazed by this." Adan said, looking at Adam.

"I have already accepted it as our fate. Now how do we get rid of this?" Adan said, cleaning blood from his face.

"We should burn this settlement to ashes, so they could rest in peace." Adan said, walking toward the library. Adam and Aerin removed the sand covering the library. Adan used fire to fly to the tallest point of the tower. He took a deep breath mixing air from the lungs with the flame and shoot it out creating a wider, hotter blast that he ever created. The intense crimson flame burned the settlement down in 10 seconds. "Sign... That took out a lot."

"We should make a big iceberg and stick it into the sand with only the top part sticking out. This is our parting gift. This is our first test to become a legend and they helped us." Agate said, stretching out his hands, drawing water from the atmosphere creating a piece of ice that kept expanding.

Adam helped Agate and after ten minutes, they created a big iceberg. Aerin created a big hole so the iceberg could fit. The iceberg was about 400 meters high and condensed enough to not finish melting in about 800 years. This was according to Z calculation.

"We should go back to training. We still have one more year left for training and after this, we could live this damn desert. Everything looks the same. I want to go and have some fun with some girls. My handsome face is going to waste in this desert. " Aerin said grinning. 

'True, I need to finish the rest of my missions.' Adam thought while walking into the library.
