Chapter 14

Adam kept running up the mountain with his vault. He wanted to get to the top and jump into the forest. He killed any Badgermole that got in his way while running. As he was running, a Badgermole rose from the ground in front of him with its claws aiming at Adam's stomach. He jumped upward and kicked the Badgermole into the mass of Badgermole, chasing him.

As he kept running upward, the mountain became steep, so he had to jump and run at the same time, thus slowing him down. A pillar of earth came out the ground and hit him on his jaw, throwing him up and dislocating if.

"AHHHHHH... F.u.c.k! I will kill you all." Adam shouted.

He spun in the air facing the Badgermoles, took in a deep breath, mixing air from the lungs with the flame, and shooting it out, creating a wide and hot blast of flame. Many Badgermole died from this attack but this made the rest angrier and increased their speed. He quickly created a blast of flame from his hands and legs, ready to blast himself upward. But before this could happen, two hands of earth, came out the ground, grabbed his two legs and slapped him down.

*BOOM*

He landed on his left hand and created a large impact crater. He stood up with his left hand dangling on his side.

'What the f.u.c.k did I do to them?'

As he was running, the ground below him gave in and he fell inside. As he was falling in, a pillar of earth hit him on his nose and his stomach. He grabbed the pillar that hit his face and used it to propeller himself upward, out the hole. As he left the hole, a big hand of earth tried to slap him down, but he dodged it. He created an ice slide, like Agate's, and used it to move upward. Multiple earth Piller came out of the ground and shattered his slide.

As he was about to hit the ground he quickly made a tunnel and went underground. This slowed him down, more.

[Why don't you fly?]

'If I lose concentration while flying, I will fall. The only reason I was able to fight Adam, in the desert, while flying, was because the wind was strong in that area. In this area, the wind is weak even if I am in the top of a mountain.'

He kept tunneling down till he felt it becoming harder to tunnel so he started tunneling upward. As he was tunneling, he kept trying his best to increase his speed of tunneling, but the Badgermoles were faster. A Badgermole came into his tunnel and tried to cut him with its claw, but Adam was faster. Adam created an ice spear and stabbed it into its eyes and used the ice spear connection to the blood to freeze all the blood inside the Badgermole. This killed the Badgermole.

Adam quickly turned the earth in front of him into dust. This helped him move faster, creating some distance between him and the Badgermole. When he reached the surface, he made a cloak of fire around himself and used fire to blast himself upward.

Multiple hands of earth emerged from the ground and started chasing him as he flew upward using fire-bending. When the hand got close to him, he will destroy it with a fire blast. The higher he went, the less hand chased him, until only one chased him. It followed him even when he changes his direction.

'How does it knows where I am? I am not close to any earth,'

He spun around and blasted a beam of fire that destroyed the hand. The small part that was floating came together around him and trapped him within it and he started falling because of the weight. He quickly made the flame covering him hotter and the stone melted into the lava.

The lava around him formed into multiple lava spear aimed at him. He quickly enhanced the fire coming from his legs to help him move higher faster. After reaching close to the clouds he stopped after he felt it getting harder to breathe. He then quickly looked around and saw no lava spear following him.

'How can that Badgermole bend thing in that range? Maybe it spent its whole life working on its range. But Z, how can it lava bend? Can all Badgermole lava bend?'

While he was inspecting his injuries, the door to the room opened and a man came inside. He is a built man standing 6'3". He has black shaved hair with thick black eyebrows and black eyes. He also has a tattoo of a third eye in his forehead.

"Huh? You are awake?" He said, looking at Adam confusingly, "Aren't you feeling any pain?"

"Who are you?" Adam asked the man standing in a fighting position.

"My name is Ignatius. My wife found you in the forest when she went to pick up fruits. Be appreciative and stop talking to me in such an aggressive voice because if it wasn't for my wife finding you and me bandaging you, you could have died. What is your name boy?" Ignatius said, sitting on the bed.

"Don't worry honey, he is just a young boy." A woman said coming into the room. She is a beautiful young woman with a slender yet curvaceous figure with a big bust and regular height. She has very pale skin, large light brown eyes and long brown hair reaching her waist. "My name Kalama and I am his wife. You need to rest, your body was badly injured when I found you."

"Where am I?" Adam asked inspecting the woman.

"Your cloth was torn so we threw it away. Those clothes on the table are yours. Are you an air monk? Your clothes looked like one." Ignatius asked pointing at a table with clothes on top.

He walked up to the cloths and then looked back at the two sitting on the bed. They knew what it meant, so they left. Adam changed into a green extravagant kimono-like tunics. He removed the hand sling that supported his left hand and let it dangle by his side.

Adam left the small village and went back into the forest. After running for some time, he stopped and ran back to the couple's house.

They walked for some time before they reached a small Sento. With Adam's help, they sneaked into the bath that was being guarded by six big men.

"I will owe you a favor." Adam interrupted Ignatius again.

"Why will I need a favor from you?"

"I am the Avatar." Adam said while showing the four element.

"... Ok. I may learn more about it since you are the Avatar and all." Ignatius said, laying on the bed.

"Promise you won't tell anyone about this." Adam said opening the door.

"I promise." Ignatius said closing his eyes.
