The One Who Collects

_In a Desert _

*Bandits POV*

Somewhere in a Desert, you can see 37 young boys gathered in a circle. I the center of them, you can see a man in his mid-forties with brown hair. He was wearing kimono-like tunics in shades of brown and dark green, with no shoes. He is also carrying a baby Badgermole. They were all laughing crazily.

"Haha, we finally seized the newborn Badgermole from the earth kingdom. If we develop this till it's a.d.u.l.t and then give it to complicit the mission, imagine how much money we will obtain. We will be loaded. No, EXTREMELY LOADED! We won't have to trouble ourselves about money anymore. HAHAHAHAHA" The mid-forties man said while laughing. Spiky black hair, and has dark-colored eyes. He also has a small vertical scar running over his left eye. He was light-skinned with a toned body but with only four-pack and scar all over his body. He is 6'2 tall.

"Yes, master Adan. Did you see those earth bender guard face when we stole the Badgermole? They were like 'Come back here so we can kill you and give back that Badgermole' HAHAHA, it was epic." Said a boy with crooked teeth. He was wearing the same clothing as the man, but his own is a little more ragged. In fact, all of them have the same cloth, but some are bigger than the other. He was dark-skinned and had black spiky hair that reached his mid-back. He looked about 10 years old and 4'7 tall. He has a skinny body that looked like he hasn't eaten for years.

Adan patted and ruffled Adam's hair and said, "Quit exaggerating it, Adam. But yes, their expression was classic. They were like..."

*WOSH**CRUNCH*

"Wait, who goes there? Who dear kill one of our men!?" a random guy 1 asked, shocked.

"It the sand benders. RUN! They gonna kill us." a random guy 2 answered, moving backward.

"NO, NO, NO."

"I don't wanna die!"

The boys started running from the sand benders chasing them. The men were clad in multiple layers of clothing and use special goggles to protect themselves from the sun. Some were riding on sand-sailers while others were riding on giant rhinoceros beetle. There was sand moving everywhere, capturing people or drowning them in the sand.

Adan stumbles a little from the sand moving around. As he was balancing himself, a sand bender came out of nowhere and took the baby Badgermole. "F.u.c.k, they took the baby Badgermole. We should fight for..."

Adam dragged Adan's arms, shouting, "If we manage to take it back, we won't escape, and we will die. So we should run to see another day."

"You are right. Everyone leaves the baby Badgermole and keep running so we could see another day." Adan shouted.

"Yeah what boss said, run to see another day," random guy 1 said

"Yeah, run boys run," random guy 2 said

With the boss's order, anyone that was going back to get the baby Badgermole started running away as fast as they can. But Adam tripped and fell. His head got stabbed with a pointy rock, and then he died.

Orion soul was crossing through dimensions, moving through a stream of multiply color light. After a long time, he noticed a white light coming from the end of the strim. He launched through the white light, and then he saw himself floating amongst the clouds.

'HA...HAHA...AH HAHAHA.....I am alive... again...haha. I really like life'

He swiftly descended very fast. After some time, the speed declined, and then he saw an astonishing scene. People traveling on giant rhinoceros beetle, some controlling sand, some were drifting on what looks like a skateboard on the sand, and a dessert that looks like it extends endlessly.

His soul slowly enters the head of a dead boy with stone sticking out his head. He looks about ten years old. When he was done possessing the body, he slowly sat up and pulled the stone out his head, feeling a slight sting in his head.

Memories of the body started flowing into his head.

In this world he came into, people control one the four-element. The elements are Fire, Water, Earth, and Wind. The people that control fire are called fire-benders. The people that control water are called water-benders. The people that control earth are called earth-benders. The people that control wind are called air-benders. Only the person called the Avatar can control all four-element.

This body's name was called Adam. He lived in a slum of an earth city, close to this desert. He had no parents and has a low talent for earth-bending. To live his life, he started stealing from street stalls. One day, he got caught and beaten by the stall owner. When he was going home one day, he met Adan. Adan said that he had been watching Adam for a long time, and saw in him, the potential to be a great thief. And so he got invited to the gang.

When he joined the gang at the age of 8, there were only seven people, counting him. But as time went by, many joined, and many died.

The group solely focused on stealing things of value. They sell it to gain money. They then distribute the money with each other, depending on their contribution. They sold Information, treasures, and several other things.

Two years after joining the gang, it became infamous in the earth kingdom that Adan as the leader got a bounty on his head. The price was Badgermole. People started hiring them for missions, and they get paid before and after completing.

This time, they got a mission. The mission was to steal a newborn Badgermole from a prestigious family in the earth kingdom. It took them two months to finally infiltrate the mansion and steal the baby Badgermole. Out of 57 that went in, only 40 came out. And out of 40, only 37 escaped the guard.

Now, after losing so many brothers to get the baby Badgermole, they lost more to lose the baby Badgermole.

"Adam! What are you sitting there for? Do you want to die? Get up and run!" Adan shouted while still running.

Orion now Adam tried to stand up but stumble. 'I am not used to this body. This feels good~So good to be alive~'

[You will be helped this time, but later you have to get used to this new body of yours. I mean, you are going to use it from now on.]

He suddenly felt cold sensation spread through his body.

He stood up and felt that he had used this body for his whole life. 'The GOD sure is powerful.'

He ran as fast as he can. After about 20 minutes, they finally stopped.

"Let me get a headcount everyone," Adan said out of breath. And they counted. "F*ck, why do I have to count, it only 5 of us that survived."

"All our brother died because of those sand-benders," Adam shouted, fitting in with the old Adam characteristic, a loudmouth that always exaggerates everything, "We have to get revenge for our brothers." He shouted, raising his fist in the air.

"Yea we should Adam, but we don't even know where we are. When we meet them again we will kill them... Never mind, we can't."

"Why can't we?" Random guy 1 said angrily.

"Yea, why can't we?" Random guy 2 shouted.

"Aaron, Aerin. We cant. We are not strong enough. Sure I can bend earth a little bit, but we have to fight the Beetle-headed merchants... In the desert? We will lose..." Adan said. Aaron and Aerin are both twins with the same cloth as everyone else but there's only reach their knee. Aaron is the older one while Aerin is the younger one. From Adam's memories, they are twelve years old. Their dark brown spiky hair only grows from the middle of their head like a mohawk hairstyle, with their spike both going in a different direction than the other. Aaron spike is going forward while Aerin spike is going backward. They are both light-skinned individuals and they both are 5'9. They were tall for their age and they had a developed body as weight lifting champion with 6 packs.

"Then we should get stronger," Adam shouted while thinking 'I can use this opportunity to get stronger.'

"We are earth bender, not a sand-bender," Adan said.

"Actually, sand-benders ARE earth-benders. It just a special style of earth-bending that involves bending loose earth or sand instead of solid earth." a boy with light brown smooth hair that reached his ear said. He had the same clothes as everyone else but he is longer and reaches his ankle. From Adam's memories, his name is Agate and eleven years old. He is 4'9 and was dark-sinned with a skinny body that looked like he hasn't eaten for years, just like Adam. "If we practice enough, we can learn sand-bending and get our revenge."

"You're right. So should we practice or not? It will take a long time. Raise your hand if you say yes." Everyone raises their hands except Aaron. "Ok, we will start practicing after we find out where we are. We should sleep for now. Tomorrow we would find out where we are." Aaron said resigning.

"Wait we are sleeping here?" Aaron and Aerin said at the same time.

"Yes," Adan said with a straight face

"On the sand. Without protection? This is Si Wong Desert. There are Buzzard wasp, Camelphant, Deer dogs, and even Sand sharks living here. We can get killed!" Agate Shouted shivering.

"Where else should we sleep?" Adam asks "No were, so man up and sleep on the sand. Better get used to it now or later" Adam said.

"..."

"Adam has grown up. HAHAHA, that is Good. As Adam said, there is nowhere else to sleep, so we have to sleep here. Now, everyone should hurry up and go to sleep." Adan said dropping down on the sand preparing to sleep. Adam drops down as well.

*Groan* "First time." Aaron said laying down.

"Me too," Aerin said.

As Adam was about to sleep, Z suddenly told him something.
