The Only Delicacy

As the skies darkened, the winds howled, and the thunder rumbled, the students, who were in the middle of a discussion inside the classroom, all became frightened and some even caused a ruckus.

Seeing how disordered and frantic the students became, the teachers had no choice but to dismiss the class 3 minutes ahead of time before the bell rang for dismissal.

"Yes! I'm finally meeting you, Li!" Kevin brimmed with happiness at this joyful turn of events, leaving the girls in his classroom fainting from the sudden display of such a dazzling aura.

While all of his classmates stayed in the classroom to wait for the storm to subside, Kevin immediately ran to his beloved sweetheart's classroom.

Once he reached the door, all the girls gasped, screamed, and then crowded him, while some fainted in their seats because of beauty overkill.

Despite being the main culprit for the ruckus, Kevin only smiled at them and then payed them no heed. Using his eagle-like eyes, he scanned the entire classroom for his beloved sweetheart, but sadly, he only saw her empty seat with her bag on the desk.

Moreover, his brother's bag was also there, right beside her seat. And his seat was also empty.

"Hm?" Kevin became stunned, suspicions and doubts flooding within him.

Right then, Kevin's heart raced, his face darkened, and his warm eyes became cold.

He did not know why he felt uneasiness coursing through his veins ever since break time, but what he did know was that his instincts were on point; his gut feeling was never wrong. Not even once. Realizing this fact, he regretted ignoring that tiny quaint feeling a while ago.

However, not was not the time to regret!

"If ever something happened to her…" The coldness in his eyes vanished, leaving only eyes filled with hostility and malice.

Once the girls felt a very high killing intent in the atmosphere, they immediately became silent and looked towards where that frightening feeling had come from.

However, once they looked sideways, they could not detect anything out of the ordinary.

They thought, 'was that our imagination?'

Leaving that strange phenomenon to the back of their minds, they stared back towards their smiling and dazzling idol, hoping to get the chance to chat with him.

Of course, that smile was very handsome.

But, instead of feeling like they were in a bliss, they felt suspicious and frightened, which made them doubt whether the man before them was Kevin or not.

Was he not Kevin, but Kyle instead?

"Kyle smiling? Impossible! Their hairstyles and personality are too different! Are we seeing things? It couldn't be… Right?" The girls anxiously thought to themselves as they instinctively backed away from him.

He did not want them to run away before he could even ask, so he went straight to the point.

"Have you seen Scarlet and my brother?" Kevin asked while displaying the most gentlemanly smile.

Once they heard his question, the girls immediately remembered what had happened, including the wounds found in Scarlet's elbows.

When they also remembered how fierce and angry Kyle's expression was before he dragged her outside, they immediately became anxious from the thought.

Something serious must have happened! Furthermore, we even forgot it happened!

Seeing the anxiety from all of their faces, Kevin's charming smile was now gone, leaving only slightly furrowed brows and eyes squinted with extreme hostility.

At the same time, the thunder deafeningly grumbled and the windows flashed with blinding light, while Kevin instinctively unleashed a cold and menacing aura that was on par with that of a death god's.

Moreover, that deadly aura was exactly similar to the feeling that had caused the entire academy to turn into chaos during lunch break.

Right now, everyone in the classroom doubted if the man before them was really Kevin. He could not be Kyle! He could not even be human!

Everything about him screamed death and murder!

When everyone around him became frightened out of their wits end, Kevin only thought about his beloved sweetheart.

He had only met his beloved sweetheart today and had only wanted to spend some time with her, but a lot of irritating situations keep coming in between them, as if something was trying to separate their red thread of fate.

If she was just one second out of his sight, then something bad would happen, he realized.

With a solid resolution, Kevin vowed to never leave his sight on her again!

As all the girls slowly backed away some more because of how frightening he was, Kevin immediately calmed down and asked while displaying an irresistible and charming smile, "What happened to them? Where are they?"

Amidst those trembling due to not being confident in responding or even standing from such a deadly smile, one brave and loyal member of the Kyle x Scarlet fan base willingly stepped forward, while her whole back was drenched with sweat.

"As a loyal fan of the godly idols, I must report to the idol's brother and must never back down, no matter the consequences! It's only through this way that I could lessen my guilt and help them in their destiny! Fighting!" However, even though she thought bravely like a knight amidst a bloody war, she slowly walked forward while blushing and shivering non-stop.

Unfortunately for the girl, the hurdle was even bigger than she had imagined. It felt like she was walking forward to report the bad events to the king just to be killed right after!

But, if she could die for her idols' sake, then she would happily die for them anytime!

"Reporting to the high one, I saw your great and angry brother pulling his fated one out of the classroom, while his fated one still had wounds on both her elbows." The girl seemed like she had reported in a fast and concise manner.

However, the trembling of her body was too obvious that her efforts did not amaze any of the onlookers.

Instead, they felt sorry for her.

After the girl reported everything to him, the past charming and dazzling aura came back while the beastly aura immediately vanished into thin air.

Kevin immediately showed his best and charming smile as he said to the girl, "Thank you."

After slightly bowing to the girl, Kevin brisk-walked away from their direction, parting the crowd as if he was Moses parting the dead sea.

Once he was approximately 10 meters away from them, all the girls, who were enduring for pride's sake, immediately fainted or had a nosebleed due to how dazzling he was.

They also immediately forgot about what had happened a while ago, making it seem like it had been nothing more than a dream.

As he was now out of their sights, Kevin's happy-go-lucky aura immediately became deadly and fierce like a beast.

He ran even faster than the eyes could see. As he ran, he could not help the regret and disappointment rising from his heart, for he could blame no one other than himself.

Despite how negative he was, Kevin never lost his pace and continued on. He knew the best place that his brother would always go to whenever he had the time to spare.

They both liked being alone. So, they hated others destroying the tranquility, including their only twin. Therefore, they discussed amongst themselves which places would be their own property, serving as a boundary for everyone else.
