The Only Delicacy

On the station where all the medical supplies resided, the anxious old nurse hastily scrambled the shelf and got the things needed to treat the poor girl on the bed.

"Oh dear, did I actually forget to buy more cotton balls?" Mathilda unconsciously said her true thoughts, while she scrambled for the other things needed, making the shelf more disorderly.

"If only I was younger, I would not have forgotten to buy it." Right now, the old nurse hated the fact that she was old. She could have helped the girl more efficiently if not for her old hands and her old brain.

While the old nurse was scrambling for supplies on the shelf, the door loudly creaked open, making Mathilda look back on who was the new visitor.

For the second time today, Mathilda became dumbfounded again. There were another two visitors who were entirely drenched by the rain! Except the only differences would be that they were females and that none of them were injured, making the old nurse somehow mentally relieved.

"Oh dear, another drenched student? What on earth were all of you doing outside?! Don't you all know that there was going to be a typhoon just from the looks of the sky?!" Mathilda hastily dragged the two women inside and made the two of them sit down, while she thoroughly inspected them and went to get a towel and some hot water.

'Another?' Both of the women thought about what the old nurse had just said. They were too focused on that word alone that they had forgotten to answer Mathilda's question.

Right then, they immediately brightened up and looked at each other.

'It couldn't be, could it?'

"Aahn.." A very soft and sexy moan sounded throughout the clinic.

Due to their senses heightening from excitement, Nene and Jojo immediately heard that soft moan and looked towards where that moan was coming from, which was on the direction of the bed covered with a curtain.

Their hearts instinctively raced.

Upon that thought of 'business,' Nene and Jojo intensely stared at the direction of the bed. In fact, they did not know why they were reacting in such an odd manner, because some 'businesses' like this happened occasionally, except not on broad daylight. Moreover, they were not the type to invade a couple's privacy.

However, what they did know was the fact that their instincts were never wrong.

Since the old nurse was old enough that even getting a towel and a hot water would take a long time, the two young maidens silently tiptoed, like a ninja on a dangerous mission, towards the direction of that moan.

How could they even end up like that?!" Nene and Jojo both had frighteningly similar and accurate thoughts, even though their minds were so jumbled up.

Right then, realization struck upon them like a lightning bolt.

"Wait! Could it be that they were hiding it all along?! Keeping all the juicy details to themselves?! How unfair, at least share some with us! We've worked so hard for you all, you know?! There are really so many things that we have missed that we are not even worthy to call ourselves leaders of the fan base!" Nene and Jojo finally came upon a conclusion through solving their thoughts like a mathematical problem in an imaginary sheet of paper.

Adding on to the outburst of their hearts, their idol, Scarlet-sama, was actually paired with both of the twins!

From their tender and earnest gazes, it was obvious to see that Kyle and Kevin were both in love with her!

They actually had such an exciting and unconventional relationship!

"HOW DID WE NOT ANTICIPATE THIS DEVELOPMENT?!" Both of the young maidens were extremely shocked at the sight and were disappointed with themselves for not naming their fan club 'Kyle x Scarlet x Kevin.'

While they were so lost in their thoughts and so fixed at the sight of such a delicious scandal, Nene and Jojo now reached a point of conclusion.

Their beautiful idol, Scarlet-sama, was really something else.

The two young maidens thought as they became extremely giddy.

Nene and Jojo were entirely filled with pink delusions and fantasies that their whole bodies had now landed on cloud nine.

From other people's perspectives, they could see two young women, who were entirely drenched from head to toe, standing before the curtain while sweating, trembling, blushing, and smiling like they had experienced the most fantastic event of their lives.

"Oh, here it is!" Mathilda unknowingly exclaimed in a loud voice once she had found two big extra towels on the drawer of the shelf located at the station.

When they had heard the old nurse's voice, Nene and Jojo were immediately brought out from cloud nine and back towards the clinic. They came back to their senses and clenched their fists, displaying a strong-willed determination in their gazes.

If what they had concluded was true, then it was their responsibility to absolutely not let anyone disturb such a precious moment of their idol's lives!

When the old nurse had come back to where the two maidens were, Mathilda, who had come back to her senses, was now dumbfounded for the third time! From her perspective, these two young women were blushing and smiling at her with so much blood from their noses!

"What on earth is going on today?" Mathilda thought as she was stunned, unable to take the next step.

Odd events kept happening one after the other that she was not sure anymore if this was the effect of the typhoon or not. Regardless of how odd the day became, Mathilda immediately casted away her thoughts and gave them both a tissue, towel, and hot water.

"Dear, was there anything I missed? Or did something happen when I was not around? The both of you were clearly drenched by the rain. But when I came back, how come your faces were now drenched in blood?" Mathilda asked in a serious and grave tone, clearly worried for these two damsels in distress.

When they had heard her question, both of the girls used all of their might to stop blushing and act normal. They immediately used the tissue that the old nurse had given them and wiped away all of the blood that they had just noticed on their faces.

"What do you mean, kind elder? Blood? There's no such thing!" Jojo directly replied while widely grinning towards the old nurse.

"Yes, elder nurse! See our faces? See? They're both squeaky clean with no speck of blood! Are you imagining things?" Nene continued while pointing at her own face, as if she was proudly bragging to the old nurse about her own beauty.

Indeed, as leaders of the fan club, changing their expressions was as easy as changing clothes for the sake of their idols.

"Hm?" Mathilda inspected their faces so closely that the young maidens were slightly dripping with sweat on their foreheads.

"Oh, you're right! I think I'm imagining things! That's weird, was that another effect of old age? Oh dear, hahaha!" Mathilda laughed at her own mistake. She really hated the fact that she was old. It was not at all nice to her ears or her physical and mental health!

'Phew.' Nene and Jojo became mentally relieved and thanked the heavens for the nurse in-charge being old.
