Chapter 5 - A Scout

Time: Dawn Location: Tree house

Inside the Piglet tree house a boy was sleeping on a swing-like bed made of leaves with a rabbit on top of him doing the same.

As the first morning rays of the sun penetrates through the leaves and window as it hits the boy, causing him to wake up.

Yawn~

'Another day has arrived yet I still wanna sleep.'

Though having those thoughts he gets up.

"Wake up little one its morning. We have to find more carrots for you remember."

Squeak!* At those words the rabbit gets up immediately and starts hopping around the house, full of energy and motivation.

"But before that we need to have proper breakfast, so calm down."

He makes his way outside to start a fire.

Crackle*

With the fire lit he takes a Stone pan he carved from a stone chakra edge knife. and puts in on the stone stove. As the pan heats up he pours fat oil he got from animals. After the oil heats up he cracks open two eggs and drops it in the pan while adding some herb seasoning he asked some squirrels to get for him . Soon, two sunny-side up eggs were ready to eat.

He takes the pan and puts the egg on a wooden plate and places the pan at the stone wash basin.

Then he pours himself a Drink he made from the fruits while he got some carrots for the rabbit.

20 Minutes Later.

"Tasty, if I say so myself. But my pursuit of Delicacies still goes on!"

Squeak! nibble nibble nibble*

The rabbit agreed while still nibbling a carrot and enjoying its petting session.

"Okay Little One its time for my daily training so as always you can play around the flower bed until I'm done. Then you can sleep on my l.a.p as I meditate above the hots spring."

Squeak!*

The rabbit hopped away.

During Training.

'Hm, I can see drastic improvement since I started. I'm already doing x5 of Saitama training.

[Body In-tune with Nature] has made my body quite strong. I should had tested my strength against that Alli but that's fine I guess, safety first after all. As for trying [Sage Mode], I know it needs a few requirements -

1. Extreme Chakra Levels

2. Strong enough body to withstand the increase in power.

3. Be absolutely still to blend and balance the [Natural Energy] with one's own [Physical] and [Spiritual] energies, or more simply-Chakra.

I don't need to worry about the 1st and 2nd requirement due to [Body In-Tune with Nature] but the 3rd is what I'm worried about. My chakra control and everything else are improving very rapidly all of a sudden for the past few days. By guess being its my MC's Halo or EX Luck or The Little One or Maybe all of them combined. No point in thinking, its not like I can talk to a rabbit. I just feel their intentions and feelings probably as a bonus from [Enchanted Perception and Empathy] . As for the stunt the rabbit performed last night and the voice of a girl I heard something about the Moon. It shouldn't be Kaguya. I mean she's suppose to be 'Sleeping' right now. Though I don't know where I Respawned In the timeline. I get a feeling I'll know it soon.'

As the boy was deep in his thoughts he was still able to dodge all the incoming attacks of the animals which came at him from all directions due to his [Thought Acceleration] and [Parallel Thinking]. He was not aware that as evaded, side-stepped and deflected all incoming attacks with such grace and serene expression, adding with his long white hair under the rays of the dawning sun portrayed a mesmerizing spectacle as if one with nature.

Time: Noon Location: Somewhere in the forest.

A man could be seem travelling at a quick pace as he jumped through the trees.

'I still can't believe there will be a war. why the heck else would they send me to scout the land of hidden grass among others? Still, sending me to such a remote edge where it borders the land of waterfall, have those geezers gone senile? When the war happens, it would happen mostly in the middle of [Grass] and [Rain]. Annoying old farts.'

The man reached an end to the trees and arrived at the edge of a large crystal clear lake.

"What the heck?! Wasn't there suppose to be an Evil Swamp around here? From where the hecl did this lake come from? This makes no freaking sense. Did the reports made a mistake?"

As the man tried to make sense of the situation, a boy with long beautiful white hair and Blue eyes with pink around the pupil, wearing a White Japanese Kimono (Tomoe Gozen Stage 1.Male ver. {FG/O}) with a wooden katana tied to his waist landed from the trees a few dozen meters away from him.

When they made eye contact the man felt a chill down his spine causing his face to go rigid for a second but quickly hid it. But the boy saw it none the less.

'That kid feels weird, like...Nature. I didn't even notice him in the forest and I'm a freaking sensor! He feels no different than the trees. And those eyes, are they some Bloodline Limit? I've never even heard of a blue/pink eye bloodline limit. I should capture him and take him to the village, he could be a valuable asset. If worse comes to worst, I'll just kill him and take the eyes for myself.'

"Hey Kid! Do you live around here?"

The man asked with a smile as if his previous thoughts didn't occur at all.

"No, Iive over that mountain." The boy lied as he could feel the negative thoughts of the man and the little bit of the killing intent he released for an instant.

"Is that so. Well, you see I'm a shinobi and I was send here on a mission to Investigate the swamp, but as you can see it not there anymore and in its place is a freaking fresh water lake. So any idea how that happened?"

As the man talked he approached the boy. Closing their distance to a dozen meters.

"Ho~ a shinobi huh. I suppose I could help you since I know a little about it."

The boy said as he prepared his chakra.

"Really? Thanks a lot kid! So tell me, when did this change happened?"

The man was now only 7 meters away.

'The man probably wants to capture me, or I would have felt a lot more killing intent.

And he seems to be lying about his mission. So why is he here? From his headband I can tell he's from [The Hidden Rock Village].I should conform where I am in the timeline. And here I was just looking for carrots. sight* My EX Luck .'

"Before that, can you tell me about the 3rd Ninja War?"

His question stunned the man for a second.

"How do you know that War will be happening soon?! Its only known to the Kages and Jounins!

It seems you are more dangerous than I expected. I should kill-"

[Chakta Burst] woosh*

Before the man could finished the boy dashed towards the man, diagonally slashing his wooden katana at the man's c.h.e.s.t. Then quickly retreating a few meters.

Arghh!!

The man screamed at the unexpected pain. Not expecting the brat to be so damn fast,

he wasn't able to react on time.

"DAmn You BRAt! Earth Style: Stone Bullet!" "Initiate Plan!"

As the man was about to spit out stone bullets from his mouth an eagle zoomed towards the man from behind and clawed at his neck.

Ack* 'From where the heck his this freaking bird come from?!"

The attack not only wounded the man but also interrupted the jutsu, giving the boy an opening.

'[Chakra Burst] Max Output!'

The ground beneath the boy caved and cracked from the force of the [Chakra Burst].

Closing the distance in a flash the boy swung this Blade.

A head went flying and landed just at the boy's feet.
