The Pokemon Emissary Among Worlds

As soon as Okami touched the Devil Fruits, the Pokemon App appeared before him, its screen blinking intermittently. Curious, he set aside the Devil Fruits and read the prompts.

Okami's eyes widened when he realized that he could fuse the Devil fruits with the pokemon. No matter, he had to try at least one fusion in order to know what changes it would bring to his body.

Meanwhile, Echo and the rest of his friends were busy experimenting with their newfound powers. They were amazed that they could talk with their pokemon starters and started asking them the proper way to maximize their strength. Soon, they became familiar with their Pokemon transformation and began sparring against each other.

Dragon instructed them to tie their wrists with seastone handcuffs to test whether Pokemon Trainers were weak to Seastones. They complied with his commands and were surprised to know that they could still use their skills unimpeded. They even dived into the sea to find out if they would be rendered useless once submerged. True enough, they were still able to fight, unlike the Devil Fruit users.

Dragon grinned after seeing and hearing the reports from his men. He instructed Ivankov to have a friendly battle against them to gauge their current strength. At once, Ivankov agreed and fought against them - one versus six.

Right now, Dragon had seven Pokemon Trainers, adding more fighting strength in his Army. Satisfied, he approached Okami and laughed cheerfully. "Thank you for cooperating with us."

"No problem. Both of us benefitted from this transaction, anyway." Okami secured the Devil Fruits back inside the box and asked, "So, will you be leaving East Blue?"

Dragon nodded. "Our purpose is done here. How can I contact you if I want to make another transaction?"

"I'll be at the Foosha village after every two months. Just inform the workers in Partys Bar and I'll be there, pronto. Remember, I only need Devil Fruits as payment."

"No worries." Dragon paused a bit before asking, "Are you sure you don't want to be a part of our group?"

Okami shook his head. "Too much of a hassle. Thank you once again and goodbye." At once, he called Makino and left the area with the Devil Fruits on his hands.

Makino remembered the fruit Luffy had eaten two years ago and asked, "Is this a Devil Fruit?"

"Yes."

"Will you eat these fruits, Boss?"

"We'll see." Okami looked at his XTransceiver and frowned. "It's almost 5 pm. Time surely flies fast."

Makino yawned. "True. Aaah...I wanna sleep. I miss my bed."

"Carry this." Okami gave the box to Makino, grabbed her hand, and teleported right at the docks.

Makino was unprepared by Okami's sudden move and became dizzy. A few seconds later, she vomited.

"Sorry. No time to waste." Okami took the box from her and boarded the ship, going directly to his quarters. Once he was inside his room, he set the Devil Fruits on the table and weighed his options.

The Bug-Bug fruit was a good choice but Okami had an active Zoan form already, the altered Ninetales. In order to have more varieties in his form, he opted to fuse the Blood-Blood fruit, a Paramecia type.

There were three pokemon that had one hundred percent compatibility rate with the Blood-Blood fruit: Muk, Haunter, and Crobat. The Pokemon App did not indicate any further details regarding the differences in their abilities once the fruit was eaten. The only thing he could do was to go with his guts and to hope for the best.

After a long time of deliberation, Okami decided to let Haunter eat the Blood-Blood fruit. He summoned the ghost pokemon and instructed him to take a bite.

Haunter cackled as he grabbed the fruit with his tongue and gobbled it whole.

Okami looked at Haunter curiously. When he noticed that nothing was happening, he frowned. "Did I do it wrong?"

He knew that the Pokemon App was always right but this did not stop him from doubting. Even then, he waited for several minutes until he observed that Haunter's gaseous body was glowing as he became darker with a hint of scarlet red.

Okami did not know how long he waited for the process to finish but his gaze never left the pokemon even for a second. When everything was over, Haunter's body became liquefied.

Haunter's round head was flanked by five large, spiked protrusions on both sides. His triangular, black eyes with small red pupils made him scarier than his previous form while his mouth was drooling as his long, red tongue swirled in the air. The gases composing his head curved into his mouth to form several pointed red teeth. Overall, Haunter turned into a floating blood pokemon.

Okami summoned the Pokemon App and checked the pokemon's status.

Okami unsummoned Altered Haunter and concentrated his willpower to search for nearby islands. When he found a suitable one, he teleported right away and activated the Altered Haunter form.

He noticed his body floating several inches from the ground. Slowly, his hands began to liquefy into blood, then his feet, until all of his body was thoroughly converted. He hovered his way to the sea and gasped when he saw his reflection. Indeed, he became a living blood monster with a human shape.

As far as he could remember, most Paramecia could not do this except for a few rare cases like Katakuri.

"So this is the blood form of the Altered Haunter? Let me see what it can do..."

First, Okami wanted to become familiar with his Blood form. He zoomed from one corner to the next, realizing that his movement was comparable to how liquid mercury slid on a solid surface. Even then, he did not stop flying around the island. As he moved from one place to another, he observed that his stamina was being depleted just like how it was when he was in his Altered Ninetales form. Thanks to the passive effects he enjoyed such as massive stamina and health regeneration, he could maintain the form longer.

To his delight, he could also transform some of his body parts into solid forms. For now, the only thing he could change was his hands and feet, either as a blade or a cudgel.

Since it was named as Blood-Blood fruit, Okami suspected that he could affect everything around him that had blood but as to what extent, he did not know. He looked for monsters to play with in order to determine if his guess was right. Luckily, a random liger was attracted by his scent and approached him.

Once Okami saw the monster, he tried controlling the blood of his enemy but to no avail. Even then, he did not give up and zoomed towards the rushing liger. Once he was near the monster's body, his hands morphed into sharp claws and scratched the exposed belly.

This time, Okami felt that he could control the enemy's blood. True enough, the blood from its wound floated towards him and became part of his blood system.

The liger panicked and rushed forward but Okami was quicker. He easily dodged the monster's attacks while continuously absorbing its blood. After a few agonizing minutes, the monster dropped dead due to blood loss.

Even though it was not significant, Okami noted that there was an increase to his stamina. Now, he had other means to increased his body strength aside from physical exercises.

Okami spent his time wandering the islands as he tried every skill he could imagine. When he sensed that the monsters were totally eradicated, he transferred to another island and continued his training. As a result, he was able to form several techniques which he could abuse.

First, he could absorb the blood of his enemies through any open wounds he created, which he called Blood Drain. This technique would stop once hit by a strong impact.

Next, he could execute Kage Bunshin and create human blood bombs with corrosive powers. The most he could form was two.

Lastly, he could hurt himself and inject his blood into his enemy. Once this is done, he could control the enemy for a limited amount of time. For now, the longest time he could turn him into his puppet was five minutes.

It was already dark but he was engrossed with his training. He summoned Kadabra and instructed him to activate Flash all the time while the Fire Pokemons like Charizard, Arcanine, and Rapidash lit up the vicinity through their fiery bodies.

This time, Okami deactivated his Blood form and returned to his normal self. He felt that his body was still strong enough to continue, so he decided to activate the Ghost Form. Slowly, he felt his body shrinking as he levitated in the air.

Unlike the previous form, Okami's body was now gaseous similar to that of Haunter. He did not know that his real appearance right now was that of a bloated Haunter.

Just like the Altered Ninetales, he could use all of Haunter's movesets, only its power was several notches higher.

Okami had an inkling suspicion inside his heart that he could do what Haunter could do in the actual Pokemon manga and anime world. Since this ghost pokemon variants loved to prank people using illusions, then he should be able to fool people with magic illusions as well. To verify if his guess was right, he looked for some monsters to become his guinea pigs.

Even though it was dark, Okami could clearly see the surroundings due to his Haunter's eyes. And because he was a real ghost right now, the darkness camouflaged him from the sights of enemies.

Okami saw two male ligers sleeping at a forest clearing. He concentrated his willpower and after several attempts, he was able to form a female liger illusion.

"Purr..." The fake female liger posed with majesty and strutted towards them.

The two ligers were roused up by the sound and were elated when they saw a beautiful liger before them. They were controlled by their animalistic urges and started biting and clawing against each other.

"It's a success."

Okami was enjoying his powers that he scoured the forest and tricked all the ligers with illusions throughout the night. Soon, the vicinity was filled with roars of monsters and the stench of blood was getting denser due to the increasing number of deaths.
