The President's Lover is a Fighter

Everything seemed to be going well without any problems since Rou Yanlin was sent to prison that even Xio Hanxi was already complaining.

"Sis, can I go back to Korea now? I'm super bored."

"Hanxi, let us just wait it out a bit... Just to be sure. It had only been more than a week since Rou Yanlin was locked up."

"But – "

"Don't push it! The Yamamotos can wait. Besides, it's not like everything is ready. Yeong told me they are still verifying their actual location."

Andrea felt the resistance in him so she tried harder to convince him. "Bro, please. Don't leave me just yet. I promise we will go to Korea together and deal with them."

"You promise me, Andy. Once Yeong confirms their location, we will fly to Korea on that very same day. " Hanxi said to her with conviction.

"I promise."

She could only regret having said that as the very next day, Anton Yeong had called to let them know the exact whereabouts of the Yamamotos.

Andrea was banging her head against Gao Rou's desk thinking how she can leave Lu Fang behind for a few days to take care of Hanxi's mortal enemies. She needed to be back by Saturday to celebrate her birthday with the man and meet her adoptive father. So if she must leave, she must leave by tonight.

She could only rely on another powerful man to protect her's - General Lei.

In a medical facility in Tianjin, General Lei was still connecting the dots between the unknown prisoners in the Asylum and their possible rivals. Most of the victims have been provided with medical care in Tianjin's Military Hospital which made it convenient for him and his men to speak with the families of the victims.

He was inside the Private Room of Rou Chunhua trying to get more data about the Asylum and its employees. Among the victims, she was fairly stable, having been able to hide her medications with the help of her charge nurse.

She was currently looking at the photos brought by the General and pointed out to one of them. "This one. Yes, this girl I have seen before, but I think… I think she died. She was very pretty. If I am not mistaken, one of the guards took an interest in her. My nurse had told me she suspected it was the guard's doing."

The General could see the truth in Rou Chunhua's dark brown eyes. She had been very cooperative in their investigation and would always initiate contact with him, sharing any new information that comes to her mind. Even if she was in a better condition compared to the others, the trauma brought about being locked up, abused and hearing others being in the same state, had caused her memory to fail her on few occasions.

The man looked up behind her and saw the worried faces of her parents so he did not take much of her time. "Thank you for today, Ms. Rou. As usual, you have my direct line. Should you recall anything important, please give me a call."

As he stood up towards the door, Rou Chunhua's eyes followed him and just before he could leave she said, "I want Rou Yanlin to be punished. Will you help me get justice?"

"I will get you justice. I will not rest until that old man is convicted together with his accomplices."

Just when The General had stepped outside, his phone rang and on his screen appeared the woman's name that could easily soften his frozen heart.

"Andy, how can I help you?"

"Lei Dong, I need a substitute for a couple of days. If not someone as good as me, then an equal number of men from your side to take my place. Besides, you had pulled out your men when Rou Yanlin was arrested."

"Don't you think you are overreacting, Andy? The Governor is already behind bars!"

"Oh, yeah? Well… Lucifer is in hell but his soldiers always do the job for him! Lie Dong, please. I beg you. I could easily turn to my sister for help but I'm certain, she will give this to you as well."

The General gasped before finally agreeing to her request. "10 men. When do you need them?"

"Tonight."

General, "Tonight?!!! You sure are demanding, Andy."

"Thank you, General Lei."

"Andy, can I see you on your birthday?"

Andrea gulped at his words. She was taken by surprise that he remembered up to this day. She thought she had already made it clear to him the last time.

It took a few seconds for her to answer, "Lei Dong, we already discussed this. I pray to God you'll find someone else to love. Just open yourself to someone else, will you? I'll see you at Brother Xia's birthday!"

Andrea was standing in front of Lu Fang's desk thinking of the best way to explain that she was leaving. She plastered the biggest smile on her face and went to sit on the man's lap.

"Babe, I'm a little busy. What's up?"

She encircled her arms around him and kissed his cold lips before saying, "Babe, I'm craving for some Gimbap, do you mind if Hanxi and I go to Korea for a day or two?"

"What did you say?!!!"His voice instantly raised at the request.

Andrea used Gimbap as an introduction but she did end up explaining to the man their real purpose of going to Korea.

That afternoon was the darkest it had ever been in weeks at Lu-Wei Enterprises as their president was in a bad mood. Naturally, Andrea denied bringing him along. First, she would be off to do some killing and she would not dare involve him in this. Second, he was busy with work. She did not want Lu Wei to nag at them should she bring him with her. Third, she had not told her brother about Lu Fang. Unlike Li Wen who had encouraged her to get a boyfriend, Anton Yeong was the opposite. To him, their world was not safe to build any relationships and would only add to one's weakness.

Before bidding goodbye to her man at the airport, he had demanded their contact numbers.

"Give me your number in Korea. Give me your brother's number, Hanxi's number, and Li Wen's number."

"You call me every hour when you are awake! Every hour, you hear me… Except when you are being shot at."

That night, instead of some loving, Lu Fang got an additional 10 bodyguards in his mansion and would accompany him to work in the next day or two. He could only wish for Andrea to finish their objective earlier and be back home to make amends.
