"Yes uncle Pie, I made this to help my boyfriend."

Instantly, the old man's eyes lit up and asked, "Who is the lucky man?"

"Uncle... I'm with Lu Fang." She then turned to the man who was staring at her in total disbelief and called for him, "Babe, come here."

The man awkwardly walked towards them and greeted Global China's CEO, "Good afternoon Mr. Pie. It's nice to finally meet you."

"Haha! Come here, boy. Let me take a closer look at you."

Lu Fang obediently came forward.

"Closer, boy. Bend down for this old man."

Mr. Pie's hand was now holding the man's face, moving it from left to right. He then gave his chest a few light punches before acknowledging Andrea's choice. "This is a good one, Andy."

"Haha! In the entire 2 years that I have known you, you finally decided to get a man. I was beginning to worry about you. This one is definitely better than General Lie."

Lu Fang,"..."

Mr. Pie looked at the man and said, "Well… at least we could save ourselves the trouble of competing with each other. Instead, we can be partners!"

"Come sit beside me, young CEO of Lu-Wei and let's discuss the proposal."

Across the room, Shen Mian's mouth hung wide open. She could not say a word nor move a muscle apart from her blinking eyes. Even as Gao Rou had pulled her away to exit the room together with Lu Wei, her gaze continued to stay on the couple.

"Mian, I am very disappointed in you. I never want to see you at the company again! Dare not make trouble for us and my son. If you and your family want to continue being friends with the Lus, know your place." Lu Wei's words pierced through her heart that she gulped on her own fluid.

"It's best that you leave, Mian. Do you want me to take you outside?" Gao Rou asked.

"Take her outside," instructed Lu Wei before going back the Majestic Hall.

"Andy saved my first grandson. It was more than two years ago when it happened. He was kidnapped and had been missing for more than a month." Pie Wang narrated to both Lu Fang and Lu Wei. "Imagine the devastation our family went through."

"We were threatened by a foreign businessman who wished to take over our office in the US, but the process of transferring the deed was very time-consuming in a foreign country where you have no connections. We were already starting to fear for the life of my grandson, Xian."

"When Andy came to me well recommended, I did not hesitate for a moment. We were already desperate." Pain could be well noticed in Pie Wang's expression narrating the story to the father and son. Back then, they truly thought that his grandson would experience a horrible death.

"Thankfully, Andy and her team were able to recover my grandson and took care of those bastards!"

The old man's eyes began to water recalling the day Xian came back home. "To this day, our Xian is still occasionally distant. He would still have nightmares from the time he was held captive."

He let out a heavy sigh and turned to his grandson's savior. "Andy here never accepted any payment. Can you believe that?" He gulped a few times holding back his tears. "I bet you, Lu Fang, she has never touched her paycheck with you."

Lu Fang was stunned. The old man was right! It was just more than a week ago when he checked her payroll account. They were still intact.

"Hmmm…" The man's eyes narrowed towards his woman who was currently comforting Mr. Pie.

"It's okay, uncle. It will get better soon. I'm sure Xian will recover with love from your family." Andrea said.

"You see, it was because she would not accept a single cent that I decided, Andy would be part of my family. Since then, I have treated her like one. I even forced her to accept 2% of my company shares… My eldest son as well gave her 1% from his shares."

"In return, Andy would review business proposals for us and even approve a few when she has the time. She is one of our best business consultants."

Hearing this, Lu Wei was feeling guilty. He thought perhaps if he had just sincerely supported Andrea and Lu Fang with all his heart, they would not get into unnecessary trouble with the Wus and the Shens. 'Who would expect that a bodyguard would have a good eye for business and connection with Global China's CEO.'

The three powerful men talked more about Andrea's contributions to Global China and moved on to their business partnership later that afternoon. It was only after an early dinner that they had decided to part ways. Other presenters were no longer accommodated since Pie Wang had already signed with Lu-Wei Enterprises.

"Tell me, Andy, what more do I need to know about you?" Asked the man while pulling her closer to him at the backseat of the car. "How come you never give it all to me in one blow?"

"Babe, we would probably need an entire month," she tried making an excuse. "Besides, we were always doing other things!"

"Hmmm..." The man thought and realized, she was partly correct. 'Other things...'

Babe, let's go to the Maldives as planned. I'm sure we can find another resort… I'll punish you the entire two days." The man declared, still a bit disappointed that he had to learn about her from someone else. He blurted it out without consideration of who else was in the car.

"Here." Gao Rou handed a pair of earplugs to the soldier who was seated on the passenger side. He then explained his actions. "When you are driving with this couple you only need to look at the road and protect your ears from their unusual exchange of words."
