"Don't be scared; you are safe here.  No need to worry as well as he cannot reach here, regardless of how long he tries." The bigger wisp said gently, trying to make them feel better. "Who are you? Where are we? Can you tell me what has happened here?" Levin asked curiously.    "We still have six hours until the morning. While we are waiting for that, I will gladly tell you about this place and our story. But please sit down first, and rest before this old man starts to nag again." The wisp said while floating around the altar. "So let me tell you this village name. It has been so long, too long ago, that we all here have forgotten our names or most of our memories. Some cannot even talk anymore." The wisp started while trying to remember, and the rest of wisps just hummed along. "But we all remember that dreadful day our crops and everything was failing. There was incurable sickness in the entire village. Even when we prayed and prayed, nothing seemed to help out; even our god was hopeless. Suddenly he came here." Suddenly the wisps voice shook, as trembling like they remembered something painful. "He was a servant of a demon. That time, even when I tried to convince the people to go against him and drive him off, I failed as he promised salvation for everyone. Many joined turning against us, but we hold our strength and believed that it would pass, but we are wrong. He wanted to sacrifice every child and the elders from the village to his god, the demon. The villagers did his bidding and madly started to kill their children and parents, even grandparents. During that time, we had escaped to the church, and we went into hiding here." The wisp said before it weeps with the other as they remember the scary past. "But it was all a beginning. The sacrifice was enough to summon half of the demon to the earth. Then a miracle happened. Our prayers were answered, and our god manifested to the earth even when it meant that he would die because of it or lose most of his powers." The weeping noise seemed to get louder. "The god battled against the demon, but the demon was too strong for our small god. Our God used his last strength and cursed the demon to only exist in our town, making this place to disappear and appear every ten years. With this, the demon couldn't escape from here and bring havoc to the world." The wisp seemed to be sad now. There were a few minutes of silence before it continued, "Despite this, he also gave us a safe place to rest to watch over this village. Since the village is the seal, if everyone would be captured, the seal would end, and the demon would get free. However, I don't know why the demon was enticing priest or any priestess to get in this village for a long time now, and it has never happened before this day." Suddenly the wisps started to make excited noises as they began to surround Elvire. "What is happening? Why are you surrounding my daughter back off!" Levin suddenly shouted alarmed as he saw what the wasps were doing. However, he was not really able to swat them away from his daughter, especially when the wisps started to dance around Elvire. "We mean no harm. She can liberate us! She can free us!" The small wisp said happily to Levin. "What do you mean by that? What is going on? Explain to us!" Levin was getting more anxious.  Jaana hugged him to help him calm down before speaking, "My dear, if they would have wanted to harm us, they would already done that. So, calm down, you are just tired," She then massaged Levin's shoulders. "Now, I remember! You need to follow me small one, only you can follow me. The others have to stay here." The bigger wisp said. "Mom, Dad, can I go? I can sense they don't mean any harm to us." Elvire suddenly said with confidence.  "Just stay safe, my dear. If anything happens, shout as loud as you can, and we will rush there," Jaana said while holding Levin up who would have wanted to object and immediately follow Elvire and the-wisp. Elvire then started to follow the wisp around.  It did not take long for her to see an altar middle of the church. The altar then began to tremble before it moved backward. As soon as the altar moved, chaos from the outside started again.  "Noooo! They found it! Minion's attack destroy that church rip it down before they get it!" A sinister voice yelled in anger.  Howling of despair started again, as the demon seemed to have gone mad as it attacked the protective shield that was surrounding the church. "Oh, no! It's getting weaker by every attack let's hurry. You two, can I ask a favor? If the shield cracks and the minions get inside, can you buy us some time?" The wisp asked Tam and Levin. They immediately nodded to agree before they started to prepare a barricade at the door and any additional defense that they could muster out. "Wisps! Help them out! Show the secrets of the church and the weapons to them." The leader of the wisps said before disappearing to the stairs that had appeared where the altar was just not too long ago.
