The Princess And The Demon

Eren knew that Sara wasn't going to appreciate the information he just told her, her raised eyebrow and tightly pursed lips confirmed that, clearing his throat, he went on with his explanation before she try and jump on his throat...

"You were poisoned, and the culprit was and still not caught, Hell, we don't even know who it was, I was afraid someone might attempt to attack you again, Especially when i wasn't there..."

"So, You mean no one was causing my energy to spill out of my body?", Unlike what Eren thought, Sara wasn't upset about the idea he kept his shadows around her, she was just wondering if the peaceful darkness she saw in her dream came from his shadows, in a way it made sense, She wasn't the black haired Dahlia around him as he knew her reality, she was Sara, the silver haired hybrid, what she didn't understand was the safety that she felt in that darkness, the passive knowledge of being protected, she just didn't understand why would Eren's shadows make her feel that way, he was her enemy...

"Yes and No, Yes, because no one suspicious entered your room, beside me, Henry, Nara, Rima and a couple of maids and the palace doctor, No one stepped inside, and none of them had any malicious intents toward you otherwise my shadows would have passively attacked them, No, was because someone was attacking you through your dream, I don't know who or how exactly they did so, but i felt something strange within you, something that didn't belong to you destabilizing your core while trying to break the shadows i set around you, Your body then went rigid, while your eyes moved hectically behind your closed eyelids, that is when i know you were being controlled by someone through your dream, i had to wake you up, i called and called but you were not responding so i poured water into your mouth, you were suffocating, and as an instinctual reflex, your body woke up, and you regained your consciousness..." Eren didn't want to tell Sara he actually played the same trick on her when she was his prisoner, when he tried to sneak into her dreams, put gruesome images about her father in her head to force her divine blood into wakening, he didn't want her to remember those times, not now while she was talking to him without trying to kill him, it was a precious momen of peace that he wanted to savour for as long as it can last...

"There were three figures in my dream, Three men, all wearing white, all having silver hair, just like mine, They knew who i was, They knew my mother's name, I think they were Gods..." Sara looked at Eren and he felt his heart clench at the sight of her scared eyes, it was way too evident to be masked, Sara on the other hand was mortified under her expressionless face, Not because of the Gods, not entirely at least, but what scared her the most was the feeling of helplessness when she was surrounded by those Gods, she was weak and vulnerable and helpless, unable to do a thing until Eren helped her, the last time she was that helpless, she lost her father and herself, being that again, she feared that her weakness would cost her someone else...

Eren took another step toward Sara, wanting so bad to take her in his arms and sooth her, reassure her and tell her that he was willing to die before letting anything happen to her, he knew his boundaries though so he just settled for their untouching proximity while letting his shadows roam around her and climb up her legs, it seemed to calm her up a little bit as she steadied her breath and regained her focused look..

"They mentioned someone named Nov, Does that ring any bells?" Sara noticed the anger and hostility that flashed in Eren's eyes, his jaw was clenched at the mention of that name...

"Was he one of the three who harmed you?"

"I don't think so..."

"I, I think i should tell you all i have known in the center, My fair lady..." Eren said with a sigh, knowing that Sara wasn't going to like the story...
