The Princess And The Demon

Few seconds passed before Eren snapped back to reality and realized the mistake he did, not only by coming to Geraldine in the first place but also calling another girl's name while he was with her, he was not a person who regretted his actions nor the harm he had caused to people, but right now the feeling was so wrong it nearly choked him, he wronged both of them, the girl laying under him right now and himself, the p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e was no where to be found and it was replaced by a deep bitterness, he moved slowly and layed beside her, she barely moved her arm to reach the covers and hide under them, laying flat on her belly, her face to the opposite side of him, only her shivering breaths were heard in the silence of the room, he sensed her pain, not knowing what to do he put his arm around her and called her name gently

"Geraldine.. "

Geraldine's sole reaction to his touch was a light stiffness, indicating her uncomfort with his closeness, he called her name again more gentle than before, she heard guilt in his voice and she wished she didn't, it only made the pain in her heart go bigger

"Let's not talk, let's just sleep tonight " her shivering low voice made Eren swallow what ever he was going to say, not that he had any words to say, the atmosphere in the room was unbearable and he wished he can just leave...

minutes turned to an hour before Geraldine spoke again, they both knew that none of them was really asleep yet they acted so...

"Eren... " She never called his name that way, he noticed, no matter what situation they were in before, she always said his name as if she is saying a prayer, her voice was full of love and respect, but right now, it held nothing but a deep disappointment, he got closer to her trying to ease the brokenhearted girl he just hurt..

"Leave, please" came the unexpected words out of her mouth, Eren took few seconds before he released a deep sigh and got out of her bed and then her room, once she couldn't feel his presence anymore, her tears broke like rain, she cried so bitterly she nearly choked with her sobs, having no one but her pillow which turned wet with the amount of tears she shed...

Eren went straight to his room, opened the door angrily before slamming it shut, causing the sleeping beauty in his bed to snap awake in fear, he laid his back on the door with his eyes shut and his brows knitted, what kind of mess is he in? since when did he became an emotionally driven person? and since when did he even care about emotions? all the things he was feeling now were too strange and heavy for him, making breathing a heavy task, guilt, anger toward himself and the girl on his bed, uncontrollable urge and l.u.s.t, distraction, sadness, and lost, he hardly recognized himself in that estate, what was happening to him..

after a while in the same position, he walked toward his bed where the frightened girl was sitting, one of her hands supporting her body weight on the bed while the other tightly held to her c.h.e.s.t, did she have to look so damn good? would it kill anyone if she was just a little bit uglier? feeling the unexplainable urge taking over him again he clenched his fists hard, reaching the bed he held her arm in an iron grip making the girl gasp in pain, he wandered if she was doing it on purpose, gritting his teeth he pushed her violently off the bed to fall on the ground before he got in his bed and laid, closing his eyes for some rest, he nose got her sent, the sheets still smell like her and the pillow had traces of tears, her lips were probably right here, and so was her silver hair, he allowed himself to take a deep breath, placing his lips where he thought hers were before he opened his eyes wildly, what the f.u.c.k was he doing? he grabbed the pillow and threw it toward Sara who was sitting on the corner with a terrified and exhausted expression, her lips shaking, he stared at her for few seconds before he walked toward his bath hoping that cold water can wash away the fire of d.e.s.i.r.e inside him...

By the time he was done, Eren's mind was much clearer, walking back to his bed, he noticed that the hybrid was hugging the pillow and sleeping on the cold ground, he sighed deeply before walking toward her, he placed his palm on her head, slipping into her subconsciousness he watched the girls nightmare, there was her mother,crying without any sound, and what was left of her father, hurt and weak, she felt helpless, claws from the shadows were trying to reach her, she was terrified, best moment to take action, Eren thought to himself...

Using his magic to twist her dream to his favor, he walked inside her dream, with his human form, his honey eyes that he inherited from his mother, and a deep bleeding cut on his belly, he appeared in front of her, she was afraid at first but as he expected, once she saw his human eyes she ran toward him directly, worried like she never was, holding his face in her warm palms, she called his name, Eren didn't waste any time afraid that he may lose his self control again said in an agonized voice..

"You must save us, my Sara, my love, all of us, from darkness, none of us have much time, you are our only hope..." he shifted his gaze, making her look to the same direction where a pack of wolf demons were feeding on her father's corpse... as he expected, it worked instantly and the girl's powers appeared in no time destroying even his dark magic and pushing him out of her head, Eren opened his eyes, the girl infront of him was still asleep but the room looked like it was hit by a storm, every item in it except for the walls were destroyed, he looked at his burned hand for a while before he smiled to himself and left the room...
