Dong Xian breathed in relief as he deflected the blow from the rude girl standing in front of him. He could feel a pressure that felt like it could turn him into meat paste.

Indeed, it was fortunate that by using the Soul Cultivation technique, he could utilise his soul's power to strengthen his body. By circulating soul force through out his body, his soul and body had increased in mass and the link between them was now stronger.

Even though this might seem like a good thing, in hindsight, Dong Xian considered it something terrible. As he was trying to cultivate his soul, not his body, it would be terrible if his soul got anchored into this body.

It would be in his best interests to not use this skill as much as possible. But, why was the woman retreating so fast? He could not even see the speed she was moving at. She spoke" I am Princess Yi Lian! What type of old monster are you? To suddenly gain so much power, you are definitely hiding your true power level. Otherwise, how could your 3-dan stage body be able to block my 8-dan's body stage attack?"

Dong Xian looked at her with a puzzled expression. What in the world was this "body stages"? He questioned her with this matter in mind. She looked suspiciously at him. "Do not try to fool me! Do you think I will fall for those tricks of yours? A man with such power like yours cannot be so stupid not to know this basic knowledge!"

Yet, this was indeed the case. The previous Dong Xian was a lazy person, who only moved under the threat of his father. This was the reason why he only reached 3-dan body stage. As for the tutors? Hmph! A young master like him should show off his power, not study useless information. This was what the previous Dong Xian's ideology was.

Dong Xian was infuriated at the person he was before. "That lazy sloth did not even learn anything that could benefit me!" he thought.

Princess Yi Lian was currently laughing at him in the depth of her heart while changing back into her regal appearance. She calmly explained with a mocking voice, "A dolt you obviously cannot understand the body stages. The first stage is Strong Body, while the second stage is Refinement of Body and... the final stage is called Body Pinnacle. Then there are the soul stages, which a novice like you probably cannot perceive."

Dong Xian did not care about the first 12 stages. They were just strengthening the body and with his power "Body Hopping", he was too lazy to even care about increasing his host's body level. However, the soul stages interested him.

After all, the main point of his body switching was using his soul to hop between bodies. If he ever wanted better bodies, he would need to get information on this soul stages.

Just then, a frenzied person rushed out of Dong Xian's family manor. When he saw Dong Xian, he yelled at him at the top of his voice. " How dare you not attend your mother's birthday, you unfilial son!" Dong Xian was stunned. He did not ever expect his father to rush out now while he was contemplating something. Then, he turned around and ran away screaming, " You will never catch me!"
