A Lance of fire streak fast Lobo just barely missing his head. He park his spacecycle down the grassy field and turned to the culprit and he couldn't help but curse. "F.u.c.k.i.n.g Bastitch! Why do you always great me with a fire lance, everytime we meet!?" Lobo shouted.

Just a few meters away a man in an all black suit landed a top of a hill looking down at Lobo.

"Considering the damage it does to you as well as the added bonus of cauterizing your wounds to slow your healing factor, I'd say it's a valid tactic against an unkillable Czarnian." The man calmly replied.

Lobo spat and sarcastically said "Unkillable my ass! You almost killed me in the past with your magic bullshit!"

"That's what you get for being stupid! Now what are you doing here Lobo, We had an accord that clearly says "I(Lobo) shall not go to Earth with the intent of harming anyone without a warrant of some form or any doc.u.mentation with the same purpose when bounty hunting for a resident of Earth unless allowed to by anyone with the authority" or should I simplify it more so you can fully understand it?" The man pointed.

Lobo glared at the man and toss him a tab "You f.u.c.k.i.n.g Bastitch! I was born to the most advanced race in the universe! I f.u.c.k.i.n.g know the accord!"

"How droll considering you committed genocide to that very own advance race" the man replied before scrolling through the the tab of doc.u.mentations, his eyebrowes furrowed reviewing the said thing.

Written in the doc.u.ments is an arrest warrant for John Stewart of Green Lantern Corps for destroying a planet.

He browse his memories of the DCAU timeline and remembered the current plot, he then turned to Lobo and said "fine, your proper doc.u.mentation checks out but do not cause too much collateral and...." he then gave Lobo a steeled look before saying "and if I found out you indiscriminately killed people of this world then I will make sure to deliver your soul to death myself."

The man then teleported away leaving a pretty piss off Lobo.

"F.u.c.k.i.n.g Bastitch!!" Lobo curse, he remembered clearly when the two first met.

The man was protecting an alien shapeshifter that had a bounty in his head and the man fought him for 3 days and 3 nights not being able to kill one another until he made a huge mistake of letting the man incapacitate him just enough to be branded with a rune that will put his soul in limbo for Eternity at the same time, it will also torturing his mind with unspeakable horrors.

Lobo unknowingly scratch the brand on his nape as he develop a PTSD of getting **** by a tentacle monster (possible cthulu).

He got into his spacebike and proceeded to head into Metropolis.

Near Saturn, ten manhunter was running its course, heading straight to Earth, when suddenly one of them was hit by a terrifying beam of red light before exploding taking another two Manhunters with it.

"Scatter!"

They move in different direction as few more red beams were sent their way taking three more.

"Trajectory traced"

"Unknown structure spotted in Geostationary orbit of a Juvian planet"

"Calculating tactica-"

A beam hit the Manhunter destroying it.

"Error!" "Error!" "Detecting unidentified projectile!"

The remaining manhunters tried blasting the incoming projectile with their blasters but a shield of some kind block the attacks, they tried to scatter but it was for not as the projectile exploded near them.

"Error!" "Error!" "Detecting irregular gravitational fluctuations!"

The exploded projectile suddenly suck everything together as the remaining manhunter was pulled into a single point.

The Manhunter struggled for awhile before the red beam hit them again destroying the remaining few.

Peace once more perpetrated space as only few metal blocks remains of the previous manhunters.

"Target annihilated sir! The prototype was a success!" Cheered the rest of the personnel.

Williams did not join their celebration as instead he furrowed his brows as he look at various error signs on the weapons diagram.

"The weapon may have been a success but it left us defenseless once more" he muttered. "I hope you can churned out more of this Sir Maximus, the Earth cannot be left unguarded." He added. A fleeting memory of seven super powered individuals came to his mind and he shook his head. "They are still not enough"

"You have done a good job handling the situation" Alex said.

"I would be more at ease if we could add a few more of those to protect the Earth." Williams voice replied from the phone.

Alex shook his head and said "ODP's production are all on halt except for two"

"B-But why? the prototype was a great success, surely you would consider sir for the protection of Earth?" beg Williams.

"No, you misunderstand me Williams" Alex said "The productions are halted as the funding for the ODP's are to be transferred to Project "Naglfar". he added.

"...." "Y-You don't mean?"

"Yes, Earth needs to have its Space Navy fast and the newly formed Justice League are just a stop gap so I'm halting the production of ODP's to build Earth's first Spaceship and we will pass this off as a SEC and UN joint program" Alex confirmed.

Williams was silent for a while "Thank you Sir for letting me know"

Alex smiled and reply "Do not worry about it Williams, your one of my oldest friend and you have the right to know as you are going to command said ship in the near future."

"Thank you for the honor sir" Williams was pretty much excited to hear that. "I will do my best not to disappoint you sir"

Alex laughed and said "I will expect that Williams" he then cut the connection and call for Karen.

"Karen would you be a dear and set me a meeting with the UN Secretary General" he said to the intercom. "and also would you be so kind to book a dinner reservation for the two of us?"

Karen giggled "My, are you inviting me to a date sir? I didn't know there was a condition in the contract for this?" Karen flirted.

Alex smile and replied "well as the entire media seems to think that you would eventually snag my heart, why not give them something to buzz about and besides I like to see my daughters expectation be subverted."

"Okay Alex, I'll get right to it" She said after giving a bell like giggle before the connection cut off.

Alex lean back to his chair and turn to the side showing the skyline of Metropolis. He then smirk and muttered "The future is going to be interesting."
