"I'm finally free at last!" Said a horridly deep voice.

Hippolyta stared in horror as the gate of the underworld open before her eyes. Felix Faust kneeled infront of the gate as a tall figure emerge from the raging hellfire.

"My Lord Welcome! I offer a gift to you!" Said Felix Faust as he dramatically presented Hippolyta. The figure smirk before waving his arm at Felix turning him into an old man.

"Argh!!" Felix shouted before being shut down by the Black clad figure.

The figure clad in black armor stood about 7 feet tall, the figure stop just below where Hippolyta was chained and took of its horned helmet, displaying a very handsome face with long hair and a goatee.

"Do my eyes decieve me? Hippolyta! My past lover!" Said the figure as he gave a smirk.

Just a few distance away, the distraught Diana along side the Justice League hid as they watch the proceedings.

"Who is that?" Ask Flash.

"Hades" uttered Diana with worry for the safety of her mother.

"Hades who?" Flash once again ask.

Batman glared at the speedster and said "Hades, god of the underworld of the greek pantheon "

"Ow" Flash muttered as he scratch the back of his head and added "so he's evil? I mean you can already guess it all with the fire background and evil goatee but I mean, I'm just checking."

Hawkgirl smack the back of the speedster's head. "what do we do?" She tried asking Diana but unfortunately Diana wasn't there anymore as the demi-goddess jump into the fray pulling a rusted sword laying around.

"Shit" curse Hawkgirl as they watch Diana use the sword to free her mother.

Diana then grab a hold of her mother and drag her to safety.

Hades' eyebrow lifted "My! You didn't tell me you had a daughter" he said before breathing hellfire from his mouth that followed the two women.

Diana along side her mother, duck to the nearest rock to escape the fire. She then grab hold of a pillar nearby and throw it to the god.

"Hahahaha! Tell me is she as loving as her mother?" Said Hades before swatting away the large pillar like nothing. The god then jump a vast distance and cornered the two in a wall.

Hippolyta glared at hades before she use the meter long chain in her arm to lash out at Hades.

It hit his face which made the god a little bit angry as he grab a hold of the chain intending to pull it towards him but not before Diana followed her mother's attack with a slash of her sword.

Hades use the chain to block the sword and it broke the chain "My! She had your tenacity my dear Hippolyta!" The god said before lunging towards the two though he stop midway as a humanoid figure slammed into him with the speed of a locomotive.

He crash at one of the pillars before being punch in the face sending him flying once more. Superman tried to deliver another punch but he was met with a sudden blast of air from the howling Hades

"enough!" He said.

Superman slammed in the wall of the cave and tried to stand up but a kick to the stomach drove him more to the cave wall, Hades appeared infront of him and kick him once more, a bunch of rock fell down from the cave ceiling and pinned the downed Kryptonian.

Superman g.r.o.a.n.e.d at the force of the kick and struggled to get out of the rocks.

"How curious..." Hades said as he tried to figure out where this strange human get his abnormal strength.

Suddenly a Morningstar slammed into him sending him flying while a dozen of punches hit him in a matter of seconds, that change his course unto a nearby pillar. It then followed him as it delivered a whirlwind of kicks in his head stunning him for a moment.

Hades struggled to get up but a few tries finally he was able to stand up and also caught the offending leg, Hawkgirl cried a battlecry as the war maiden flew towards him in great speed. He threw the Flash stop her approach sending both crashing into one another unfortunately this left him open for an attack which Martian Manhunter took advange of as he appeared above freefalling, giving him a drop kick that way a 1000 ton.

Hades, who was downed in the cave floor was now very angry as he snarled and breathed hellfire at Martian Manhunter whp was on top of him, if not for John's quick reflex, he would have burned alive but even if he manage to evade, he's legs were still got burned.

"Argh!!" Cried the Martian Manhunter.

"I grew tired of this ga-" Hades speech was again interrupted as he caught a batarang beeping, he observe it for a moment before the thing blew up in his face. Now very mad he swatted another incoming batarang that release a huge amount of black smoke obsuring a fair bit of his vision.

Batman drop down from the ceiling and drop a dozen flashbang pellets in Hades feet that exploded with a flash of light that blinded the god before grabbing a hold of the down Manhunter and grappling away to safety.

Hades now truly enrage gave howl and glared at the now gather group of heroes in the distance and shouted with so much hate "Annoying pest! trying to be heroes! Behold the fate of all heroes!"

The place suddenly started trembling as the group heroes watch as hundreds if not thousands of undead clawed their way out of the ground.

Flash gulp and couldn't help but ask "uhmm...do you have holy water in your utility built Batman because we could really use one right now."

The Bat glared at the speedster as he equip himself a gold plated brass knucle with a bunch of latin scriptures carve on it.

"Shit! They're almost in the tens of thousands!" Hawkgirl said as she tightened her hold on her weapon as it crackled in energy.

"We need to escape now!" Said Hippolyta turning to the exit, only to stop as Hades now standing a top of a pedestal suddenly breathed hellfire at the caves entrance caving the entrance with tons of rock.

"He block the entrance" said Superman. "It'll take me a few minutes to unblock it but I'm sure Hades won't let us escape that easily." He grimly added.

"There's no escape here mortal! Prepare to suffer for your affront against me!" Hades shouted.

The undead howled at their gods declaration and march towards the Justice League.

Diana stilled her battered self and muttered the name of a person, who suddenly appeared in her mind "Alex..."

Hades began laughing maniacally as he look at the distraught faces of the group especially Hippolyta and said "A pity Hippolyta! We-" before he could finish his sentence an explosive force rock the cave as a rainbow colored light pierce a hole in the ceiling of the cave, before stopping in the middle of formation of the undead army, crushing hundreds of undead into fine dust.

A black figure stood at the middle of the light show after it vanish.

Hades eyes suddenly widened as he exclamed "The Bifrost! Impossible! Your kind is already dea- No, You are not one of them! Who are you impostor! How were you able to use the Bifrost!"
