"Oh, well, I heard from the report last night that it was Comrade Liu Fengyu's foul odor that repelled those..." Vice Commander Shen couldn't continue his sentence because Liu Fengyu was giving him a fierce stare.

Cong Xia hurriedly waved his hand, "Vice Commander Shen, we can't use that word, we can't."

Cong Xia felt a warm feeling inside and smiled foolishly. "Liu Ge won't withhold food."

Cheng Tiangbi seemed to think this conversation was too foolish and sarcastically remarked, "Liu Ge is the most handsome man in the world."

Cong Xia laughed, "That's just flattering him. Liu Ge is indeed handsome, but a bit too delicate. I think men are most attractive when they're like this."

Cheng Tiangbi raised an eyebrow. He usually didn't pay attention to appearances, but Cong Xia's words didn't annoy him.

He grabbed Cong Xia's arm and forcefully pulled him onto the shore.

Both Cheng Tiangbi and Cong Xia took a closer look and saw a catfish that was more than 30 meters long!

They walked over to pick up the clean clothes by the shore and put them back on, stuffing the dirty ones into their bags.

"But why are so many soldiers surrounding him?"

"Because he's an atavistic mutant." Cheng Tiangbi explained.

Cong Xia was not tall enough to see inside through the layers of soldiers blocking his view, but Cheng Tiangbi had a clear sight of the person with an ape-like physique. Curiously, Cong Xia squeezed into the crowd and saw a young man in the center, with a face resembling a feline but with muscular build like a bull, and his body covered in hair like that of an ape.

This atavistic mutant had bloodshot eyes, full of anger, and he was constantly trying to break through the encirclement to seek revenge on the fish.

Unfortunately, no matter how powerful he was, what could he do in front of such a colossal creature? It was a suicide mission. The military would not let their most powerful mutant throw his life away, so they desperately tried to restrain him.

Cong Xia looked at this person in astonishment. He seemed even more robust than the strength-oriented mutants. "Liu ge, over here!" Cong Xia waved at him from afar, his main concern being whether Liu Fengyu had brought back sausages.

Liu Fengyu walked over with a smile.

"How did it go? What did they ask?"

"They asked about the reasons for the mutation and our abilities. They even wanted me to demonstrate my powers. I didn't bother with them. A bunch of stubborn old men who are just asking for trouble," Liu Fengyu said, disdainfully.

Cong Xia laughed. "They truly are asking for trouble. I thought they would try to keep you."

"They said I could join their recruitment if I agreed, but I didn't accept. It was such a hassle. We don't rely on them for food anyway."

As soon as they mentioned food, Cong Xia's eyes lit up, eagerly looking at Liu Fengyu.

Liu Fengyu smiled mysteriously. "It's in my clothes. Let's find a place to secretly eat tonight."

Cong Xia nodded happily.

"Many have already moved ahead and gone to bathe. After they finish, we'll leave too."

Cong Xia held onto him and reluctantly told him about the incident that had just happened.
