The Rise Of An Empire

Off into the distance, the loud noise was getting closer and closer as a powerful voice could be faintly heard.

"You must be alive! A crazy old man like you can't die like this!" rushing at full speed Gao Liang grip his spear tightly while yelling out.

"Sigh….why did you come my lord." Tuong Liang recognize that voice instantly and can't help but feel ashamed for putting his lord life in danger for his own sake but Tuong Liang face was twitching at the same time from the last comment with an urge of screaming out 'Who are you calling a crazy old man!'

As he get closer to the Pei Kingdom east camp Gao Liang immediately saw Tuong Liang standing in the heart of the enemy with a sword to his neck while a man and four other well armored individual with great pressure was standing at the distance in front of Tuong Liang.

Which Gao Liang recognize from his report on the leading figures of the Pei kingdom imperial troops that was sent to attack the Liang clan. Gao Liang raise his spear high in the sky and point it towards the enemy without hesitation after recognizing who he is up against and then start to give out his orders.

"Hy Liang! Take three hundred soldiers from the thousand spear unit and move towards the left flank!"

"Yes my lord!" Hy Liang accepted the order without a second thought as he call out to the various unit officers of the thousand spear unit.

"Vi Liang! You take another three hundred soldiers and move to the right flank!"

"It shall be done my lord!" Vi Liang follow up as well by gathering three officers and their men to follow her.

"The last four hundred soldiers from the thousand spear unit follow me!

"KILL!"

"HOOOO!"

"Spearmen to the front now! Stop them!" noticing the enemy as they become clearer due to the distance between the two forces are shrinking fast. The imperial troops hurriedly try to get into a defensive formation but how can heavily armored troops be faster than a warhorse such as the red hare while doing a full charge?

The possibility is non-existent and soon enough Gao Liang along with his men collided with the imperial troops.

"Aaarrrgghh" the imperial troop's formation instantly collapse before they had a chance to solidify the position. Many of the soldiers was trample upon and die a miserable death from the powerful force behind the red hare hooves stomping down at them.

"So he actually show up. The report about him and his unit wasn't false at all." Loi Pei standing at the other side observing Gao Liang and his men coming closer and closer said in a soft voice.

Before coming to attack the Liang clan Loi Pei have done extensive research about his enemies to keep himself up to date on their military power and also put his previous battle experience against the Liang clan in use. From what he read in the report, the new lord of Liang clan name is Gao Liang and his unit is called the thousand spear that ride only the strongest war horse into battle which is the red hare. Their destructive power was well known to all the warlords and kings.

"Let go welcome our guests." Seeing the destructive power of Gao Liang and his men first handed Loi Pei decided to join in on the fun with his four generals after receiving their weapons from the soldiers.

Seeing that the five individual with great pressure started to move towards them and Tuong Liang. Gao Liang push their momentum from a heavy cavalry charged even further as Gao Liang and his men manage to push deep into the enemy encirclement in no time and reaching Tuong Liang location.

"Get on now!" after getting close to Tuong Liang. Gao Liang urge him to get on the horse right away because no matter how brave Gao Liang and his men are. They are still in the enemy territory and as time pass more will show up and their chances of escaping will become slimmer by the second. What worse is the five enemy are getting closer right now!

"So you must be Gao Liang the grand commander of the Liang clan army, since you already here then why not stay for a little chat?" before Tuong Liang could get on Gao Liang horse and make their escape. A voice travel to their ears as a man with a battle axe reach their position in no time and made a chopping move towards them.

With no other choice Gao Liang push Tuong Liang to the side and take on the enemy blow.

A deafening sound of metal colliding ring out causing many soldiers on both side that are near the source to drop their weapons and hold their ears with a painful expression while some unfortunate soldiers actually bleed out of their nose, ears, and eyes!

If it wasn't bad enough already, huge gales of wind carrying dust and debris was also created from the clash between two powerful people pushing the already injured soldiers further away.

"Ahhhhhh!! HA!" due to the enemy taking the initiative, Gao Liang was put in a tough spot as he use all his power to push the enemy back.
