The Seeker Of The Flames

Chapter 35 - Arian, Just a Normal Archer (2)

Having arms wrapped over her c.h.e.s.t, Ena lifted her head. She looked completely red, her eyes widened to the ultimate extent. The passion in her expression warmed the space in l.u.s.t. Only one simple glance at her l.e.w.d face was enough to feel her burning zeal.

"... Master is absolutely ruthless. Cruel... too much cruel..."

"H-heh? What're you talking about? Just stop acting like this already! I don't want everyone in the Kingdom to find out we're carrying a pervert with us!"

"But... but..."

Her breath kept coming in heavy gasps and m.o.a.ns.

Wendy's face turned worried, taking Adin's arm even more firmly. "Seriously, Arian my husband, what's wrong with this woman? Is she really one of your friends?"

Ena started m.o.a.ning aloud, letting out l.e.w.d sounds while extremely blushing. "I can't hold it anymore! Just as expected of Master, unbelievably cruel and brutal in nature. Your sadism has no limit! You've not failed me at all. I'm too happy Master!"

She then bent down thoroughly and clung to Adin's legs. "So you were preparing such a surprise for me all this time... so befitting of the world's most sadistic monster."

"W-whaat? Surprise? What do you mean? And for god's sake just stop it already. People are looking at us. Remember, I'm Arian, you're Elena, act normal! So stand up and get your hands off my legs."

Ena didn't seem to care about what Adin had said. She just continued sticking to Adin's legs, even though everyone could see her in the guild.

"So what's gonna be next after cheating on me, my master? Are you going to have s.e.x with this woman while I'm watching? Just go ahead! Humiliate me even more!"

"H-heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh?"Adin exclaimed, his shocked loud scream overwhelming the guildhall.

—Boring, goddamn! it's too boring! So that's what she was talking about this whole time? Just how can someone be this much perverted? I knew her attitude is going to bring us trouble. Just look at Freya, she's quiet and acting normal. I shouldn't have been worry about Freya for her inexperience; Ena is far more troublesome. Damn it, thank god there're not so many people here, or otherwise, it'd be harder to manage it.

"Cheating? What's she talking about? Who's she?" Wendy began asking Adin worriedly, stretching Adin's shirt while complaining. "Hey! Tell me! Hey! Don't ignore me! Who's this woman? Tell me Ariaaan!"

When Adin wanted to answer Wendy, Ena suddenly started talking again. "Master you're the best! Yesterday you brought that blonde one, and now this red-haired shorty? What're you going to bring tomorrow? I can't wait for it!"

Preparing to respond to Ena's m.o.a.nings, this time Wendy's voice didn't allow Adin to speak. "I'm getting scared now... who's this weird woman! Please tell me..."

Every time he decided to say something, one of those two began expressing their feelings, not allowing Adin to talk at all.

"Tell me Arian!" "Just let's jump to the best part already! I'm ready for it master!" "I'm getting uncomfortable here, I can't be in the same group as this woman's." "Go ahead, master, go ahead and do it! I'm telling you I'm ready for it."

"Ariaaaaaaaaaaan!"

"Masteeeeeeeeeeer!"

Adin began scowling, his frown getting bigger after hearing Ena and Wendy shouting at him. He could no more understand what they were saying, as his emotional, concerned look twisted into a bored, lifeless face.

Closing his eyes shut, Adin sighed while palming his face with his right hand.

"Enough is enough!" Adin muttered.

He then opened his eyes, staring at both of them with fierce red glares. Adin's iris seemed to be burning in crimson.

Ena's m.o.a.nings and Wendy's soft shouts ceased to be heard immediately. They both stared back at Adin in fear. The atmosphere then sounded entirely quiet and still, allowing Adin to finally speak.

"I do understand your feelings, but please remember that I hate wasting time. Elena... please behave, if you still want to have a place in my group, of course. Also, you Winter, I'm keeping my promise to go on a honeymoon with you someday, so you should also keep yours. I'm not saying it again, I may be able to get over with your behavior once or twice, but it gets boring and out of hand when you're repeating it like this. Do not attract attention! Do not make trouble! Do not make me bored! Do not be boring! Understood?"

Wendy and Ena nodded in agreement, sweating while looking astonished. "Yes, Arian!"

Adin then shut his eyes. Once he opened them again, his iris looked to be as same as before.

Ena stood up from the ground and sit in front of Freya at the other side of the table; Wendy stopped taking Adin's left arm, sitting beside Ena.

"Good..." Adin sighed, walking toward Freya and taking a seat beside her.

"By the way," he turned to Freya, "where's Liora?"

"She went for a quest the moment she got awake." Freya responded, bearing a gentle smile, "I tried to convince her to stay, but she still insisted to leave. Please forgive me!"

"I see, well... then we have to wait for her here. Anyways Freya, can I ask you something?"

"Of course! What's that?"

"I just noticed something about you. Why have you been putting on a smile recently?"

—I think I can trust her more than anyone else. She's been acting so normal after signing up as an adventurer.

"Oh, I just come to see you're also smiling when meeting people. So I decided to do it too."

"Ah... I see, so you're also doing it to not attract the others' attention while being normal?"

"What? No, I'm not doing it because of that. I thought there's something special about smiling that you've started doing it. So, I myself tried to smile too since I want to become as strong as you!"

Adin facepalmed.

—Damn it... So she's just been imitating me? I knew I couldn't trust her. It seems I should bring my expectations lower.

"Well, there's no connection between my strength and me smil—"

Before he could finish his words, Freya interrupted him. "Can I ask you for a demand?"

"Eh? A demand?"

"Yes! You just made Elena and Winter silent simply by looking at them. Can you please teach me how to do that too?"

Freya's eyes appeared enthusiastic and demanding, begging Adin to teach her.

Adin facepalmed again, this time harder.

—I totally forgot Freya's here to become stronger...

"All right, I will teach you later. Let's now wait for Liora to get back."
