The Seeker Of The Flames

Chapter 42 - The Defender of the Women's Rights (1)

A luxurious room was trimmed by a huge mirror on its wall. The mirror's gold-plated frames covered the reflection of a short chubby man in an intricate robe of royalty. His round belly was distended beneath his golden sleek tunic, a red belt with bear designs fastened under his waist.

He wore a silky, aristocratic robe and colorful silken ribbons of detailed brown symbols surrounding his body. The man reeked of rich cologne, carrying a very strong smell of pomade on his head.

His black hair was shaped in a short style, looking so glossy and silky, smooth and soft like a bird's wings.

He had reddish-brown eyes, a large double chin speckled with stubble, and an imperial mustache—mouth being twisted into a deep grin.

This man was Oscar, the head of the Department of Justice.

Hands behind his back, Oscar stood in front of the mirror, staring at his own reflection.

"Spectacular!" said the man, rather in a deep, calming tone.

His voice sounded so m.a.t.u.r.e and soothing. Hearing that type of voice would definitely be a grace. One could guess he's a spokesman, although his appearance didn't match with such a refreshing, high voice.

"The shadows are vanishing! What type of elegance would exist without the night's dark lurkers inflecting their lethal damage to the sun? We're all here to praise the beauty! We shall all praise the beauty!

The great men and honorable soldiers have to praise beauty. Our gratitude is the only way to change the darkness of night to a comforting breeze of sunlight. The pressure shall not last. The night shall not last. Nothing lasts expect beauty! The beauty is eternal! It is inevitable! It was, it is, and it shall always be! Immortal! Perpetual! Everlasting! Only one thing lasts forever and that's the beauty!

We shall all honor beauty! We shall all praise the beauty! We shall all die for beauty! Perfection and excellence exist right before our blinded eyes! And thus our eyes shall get freed! The dancing breeze awaits us in the beautiful meadow gifted to us by sunshine!"

A faint voice could be heard coming from behind. "...bo..."

Whether that weak sound had reached his ears or not, Oscar began continuing his speech before the mirror.

"And once we open our eyes, we shall see the ultimate greatness: Women, the angels blessed to us by the heavens! We shall all find the utmost harmony, elegance, grace, honor, respect, beauty, excellence, and the compilation of all of the world's quality in those angelic beauties!

And once we find those, we can hope to understand the divine existence of these angels! They are gifted to us, and thus we shall show our gratitude by giving them what they deserve. We shall all respect their rights! They all deserve far beyond this world's worthless gifts! They are beyond this world! They are beyond everything!

Those pure smiles, innocent looks, gentle hearts, soft hands, cruel feet, shiny hair, light skin, and all of their characteristics deserve the most precious treasures in the world and far beyond!"

The same faint voice once again started being whispered through the room. "...ri..."

"Notwithstanding the problems in our way, we cannot surrender! We shall not surrender! The blasphemous enemies are awaiting us in the dark, but we cannot fail to protect the beauties.

Even when they may look imperfect through our mere human eyes, we shall open our heart's eyes instead and look deeper to realize how wrong our apparent eyes are showing things to us. Once the eyes mislead us, we shall not give up! The utmost treasure that the world has come to see resides right before us!

It may sound hard at first, but one can achieve wisdom and sagacity to look at everything with heart. And the heart tells us to worship the beauties. It tells us to repent and pray to those goddesses. We shall all worship as much as we can, and although one can never appreciate that elegance thoroughly, we shall not surrender! We shall all show our capacity and do what we're capable of!"

The weak sound became less audible. "..n.."

Oscar turned behind to the source of the voice and stopped to look at the mirror. His grin faded, eyes shedding tears in joy, looking at the man who was sitting on a couch in the center of the room.

"But... I cannot believe..." said Oscar, walking to the average man sitting on the sofa.

As he reached him, he bent down and took the man's hands. "I cannot believe you're understanding the beauty to such extent! I cannot believe I've found such a wise man, who has deep eyes of heart and sees everything through a gate of grace and elegance!"

He kept crying, showing a lot of joyful and passionate emotions. "I should apologize to you! I didn't know you've come all this way and yet you've not failed to understand how to behave with the goddesses. I'm really sorry I had doubts about your intentions. I should be ashamed to not realize you're a man of wisdom and honor. Not so many men have the will to control their mere emotions and apparent eyes to look with their heart, but you've done it! And not just with one goddess, but with four of those heavenly beauties! How is that possible?!! Your actions and decisions on how to treat women are exemplary!"

The sitting man, however, didn't look as passionate as Oscar who had bent down before him. He looked rather worn and tired, giving out a negative aura. A shadow was hiding his forehead and eyes, implying his boredom and disinterest, meanwhile murmuring: "...bo...ri...n..."
