The Sharingan Hyuga

Sasuke and Gaara stood before each other.

The proctor then said to them "The rules are the same as preliminaries. The match ends when either one of you dies or admit defeat.

Gaara for some reason excited and laughed silently but it didn't escape Sasuke's eyes.

"Begin".

from the Gaara's gourd which is on his back, the sand began to rise.

Sasuke thought "so, this is the sand Kakashi told me about".

Then suddenly Gaara got agitated for no reason. "Mother, don't be angry".

Sasuke began to throw shurikens but it was easily blocked by his sand armour. Sasuke dashed towards him quickly and a Sand armour appeared in front of him, he bypassed it by making a quick sharp turn and landed a kick on Gaara.

For a while, he began to move like how Lee used to move. For a while, Sasuke is getting the upper hand while Kankuro who was supporting Temari who can't move an inch.

Kankuro spoke "we haven't got the signal yet. Gaara can't control him anymore. Temari you go first. It will be troublesome to move under this condition.

She glared at the group who were discussing together. She gritted her teeth "soon when your village will be destroyed, I'll see the despairing look on your face Shuichi Hyuga".

Later, a Sand ninja carried her away and moved towards the exit.

After a while,

A sand dome completely covered Gaara and it is attacking Sasuke whenever he tried to attack it. Sasuke has been injured in a few places. He then ran back and climbed half the way of the wall of the stadium.

Naruto shouted, "Sensei, please stop the match immediately". Kakashi replied "There's nothing to worry about. Sasuke and I, we didn't just get here late for no reason".

Sasuke who has a 2 tomoe sharingan made some hand seals and a lightning chakra started to gather in his hand.

Gai asked, "you taught him that jutsu?". kakashi replied, "The reason I decided to train him because he is like me".

Gai nodded "I see". Then, Shuichi who was quietly listening coldly spoke: "If you think Sasuke will win this match, then you are a fool, Kakashi Sensei".

Yakumo who heard it thought "great, that good old Shuichi is back now".

All looked towards him for an explanation. "Sasuke is good. but to defeat Gaara? It's not only difficult but it's impossible with your little Chidori. If Gaara shows his full powers even if you and Gai sensei combined attack, you both will still die".

Sakura replied "no way that's possible. you can see clearly that Sasuke has the upper hand".

Shuichi ignored and looked at Kakashi "sensei, he's a jinchuuriki". Sakura and the rest mumbled, "hmm, what is that?". Only Shikamaru raised his forehead. while Kakashi was surprised "then?".

Shuichi nodded "what Naruto previously warned is correct. Look at the situation, Sasuke keep attacking that dome. I can see what is happening inside. Although Gaara is suppressing it, If a jutsu like Chidori pierced his body, what would happen?

Eventually, when that beast is released from its seal, The first one to be crushed is Sasuke. That's why go and stop the match before its too late. you are his sensei. He is your responsibility".

Kakashi hesitated a bit. Shuichi said, "Oh boy it's over, now we can't do anything for what happens next".

Sasuke already reached the sand dome and attacked it, the sand wasn't able to stop it, he pushed it further and pierced his shoulder

Then with his Sharingan, he saw one eye of Gaara looked different. He hurriedly pulled out his hand from the hole he made.

A big hand made of Sand came outside and tried to catch him. But he escaped barely.

The sand dome collapsed. Gaara looked normal. Shuichi thought "Hmm, did something happens?". Sakura raised her fist "yes, Sasuke won". In the Arena, Sasuke was visibly stunned for a bit "What is that eye?".

Then, suddenly the audience began to see white feathers and one by one they fainted even Naruto.

Kakashi, Gai dispelled the Genjustu while it didn't affect Shuichi at all when he activated his Dojutsu.

Shuichi spoke "I guess the invasion on Konoha has started then.

Kakashi who heard it turned towards him "what! invasion?". Shuichi was surprised "didn't Hokage sama haven't informed anyone of you?. that's weird, I gave him the information a month ago".

"Ok, here's the situation, The Sound and the Sand villages are planning to invade Konoha while the beast inside Gaara goes on rampaging in Konoha keeping many of our shinobi busy.

But, it seemed like Gaara's transformation was incomplete as Sasuke interrupted him at his last stage. It seems we should owe it to Sasuke. but, why didn't Hokage informed you?".

Kakashi and Gai nodded "Ok, I got the situation. you wake up Naruto first".

Shuichi went to Naruto and dispelled his genjutsu, Sakura managed to free herself. Shuichi woke up Sai but left Yakumo out as she's of no help. Only that Shikamaru who already freed himself faked his consciousness.

Meanwhile, at Arena, Baki and Kankuro picked up Gaara's body and Sasuke was insisting to battle him. Baki tried to attack him but Gai intercepted his attack. Sasuke ran after them and Kakashi spoke "Naruto, Sakura, I'm assigning you an A-rank mission. Shuichi, Sai can both of you go with them?. Follow Sasuke. I'm not sure it's safe for him to go after a jinchuuriki". They nodded. while they were about to go, "Shuichi". "hmm?". "If possible, capture the other one. He is also Kazekage's son. So, we can use him later after our crisis is averted".

Shuichi nodded and spoke to them "let's go guys". Just when he was about to pass Shikamaru, He looked at him and said "Shikamaru, it seems you don't wish to participate simply want to sleep here. since that's the case,". He poked at several places "stay here and sleep then".

After four of them went away, Shikamaru tried to move but wasn't able to. "Ah! well, I don't want to have anything to do with this". he closed his eyes and slept.

With his Dojutsu, he leads the team and soon they caught up with Sasuke.

Shuichi mumbled, "what is that?". They saw half of the Gaara's body was covered with sand and different. But it wasn't what Shuichi is observing. He saw black marks over half of Sasuke's face which are originating from a mark from his neck. He turned toward Sakura and asked "Oi, you weak girl, did something happened to Sasuke after Wave mission?".

She was looking worried and hesitated. Then he looked at her eyes. "Now answer me". Her face turned blank and told him the whole story how he got bitten back at the forest of death.

Sai who was watching Shuichi was astonished to see his abilities while naruto dashed towards Sasuke to help him.

Shuichi looked at Sai "let's go". They left Sakura there and went into another direction. "Wait. where are you going? what about Sasuke?". Shuichi replied, "Take care of Gaara for a while we complete our mission".
