A few weeks later,

there's a huge celebration in the village. All were enthusiastic to welcome Tsunade as their next Hokage.

She was looking at her surroundings while walking. "It seems the village has changed quite a bit".

She went to the council room to meet all the Elders and Clan-leaders. Only one was with a bit of gloomy face. Everyone understood why he was like that, so they didn't talk about it and just ignored him.

preparations are made to formally put Tsunade into office, though she is largely uninterested in the formalities and leaves the task to her new assistants.

Then she made her rounds in Konoha Hospital. She Healed Sasuke and Kakashi from the Tsukuyomi. Sakura who was worried about Sasuke upon seeing him get up immediately hugged him and cried for a bit making Naruto who saw the scene filled with sadness.

He left them and went to Lee with Tsunade. While looking at Lee who was with a clutch, she asked Gai who was extremely worried "Is he your student, Gai?". He nodded "Yes, He's more like a son you see. Can you Heal him?".

She frowned "Naruto, Do you have time to Dwadle around here?". "Oh! I almost forgot that I'm supposed to meet Iruka sensei".

A while later,

Lee was shocked when Tsunade told him to give up being a Ninja. "There's only a 50% chance of success. If it fails, you will die".

He left the room dejectedly while Gai asked her "You are only exaggerating. right?".

"He is the one who has to make a choice".

While this was all going on, at Training grounds

Shuichi made several Hand seals

"Katon: Gokakyu no Jutsu - Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu".

He exhaled Fire and made a Great Fireball. But unlike its name, it isn't big but still, it is around 2m big.

Yakumo who was looking at the fire "No matter how many times I look at the flame, It looks beautiful". Sai who was beside her replied, "don't look at the appearance, see its aftermath".

Shuichi's fireball is different from the rest. Instead of red, it has a blue colour which is almost twice hotter than the normal fire.

It was so hot that even Yakumo and Sai began to sweat. only when it was fired away, they breathe in relief.

Danzo who was sweating because he was standing behind Shuichi sternly spoke "Shuichi, your control isn't perfect yet. you are taking a long time to form it. See me and your teammates. even they were affected by it. So, practice it again".

A few days later Tsunade is inaugurated as Hokage, and the role of the village's protector is passed on to her.

One week later,

Shuichi stood before her for the wish. Tsunade looked grim "Shuichi, The only one who knows how to break the seal was the Third Hokage".

he looked at her in despair "So, it's impossible?". "well, not impossible, but even if we start researching now, it might take months at best, in the worst case, years. So, Don't waste it and wish for something else".

He didn't say anything and went to the training ground in anger and depression and found Yakumo making chakra storage scrolls.

When she saw him, "What happened?". He shook his head and sat alone on a tree for a while.

A voice spoke from behind "you want to unseal her powers?". He looked at him without any expression "sensei".

"you don't need to hide it. I have eyes and ears everywhere".

Shuichi replied "yes, but it seems there isn't any way to do it. Hokage sama said it's almost impossible". He became angry "why do people create seals when they don't know how to remove it".

Danzo replied "But Third Hokage had already died. so, what's the use of being angry over current Hokage?".

Shuichi replied "No, I'm not angry at her but on myself. I thought I wasn't ready. so, I kept postponing it. But when the time came, He's already dead".

Danzo said, "there's a way". Shuichi looked at him curiously "Is there?".

Danzo replied "Her seal is the same kind as a Jinchuuriki's but with no key. So, if you can't release the monster from outside, then Monster can break the seal from Inside".

Shuichi frowned "But that's impossible. If Ido can break out of her, It would already do so".

Danzo nodded "yes, but you missed something. you can take control of her mind".

"Hmm?". "That means you should enter her mind, Take control of her other personality rile it up and make it break the seal from inside".

Shuichi was excited "Thankyou sensei". Danzo then replied sternly "But remember, if she ever loses herself and the monster takes control of her, I will kill her for the sake of the village. So, if you wish to help her, just freeing her wouldn't do".

Shuichi stood up "I know. Thank you once again". He bowed and ran towards her.

Later, Danzo said to her "So, to get your powers back, you have to become a Fuinjutsu expert and was able to create a seal so that its powers slowly merge with you in time. It might take months. Years but it is the most optimal solution".

A Couple of weeks later, Officially, Shuichi and Shikamaru promoted to Chunin while Lee accepts undergoing the operation.

Sasuke is recuperating in the hospital after the injuries he received at the Land Of Tea. Angry and jealous that Naruto has continued to get stronger while he is still not strong enough to defeat Itachi, he challenges Naruto to a fight when he and Sakura come to visit.

Naruto accepts, and the two head to the roof. After exchanging several attacks, Naruto creates a Rasengan and Sasuke prepares his Chidori. The two rush towards each other, with Sakura screaming for them to stop.

As Naruto and Sasuke are about to clash, Kakashi Hatake appears and deflects them into different water towers. Sasuke finds Naruto's tower to be considerably worse off and only comes to envy Naruto's strength more upon seeing the actual damage. Kakashi takes Sasuke aside and lectures him about not attacking friends.

Sasuke said if anyone Kakashi cared about gets killed in front of him maybe he would think differently, Kakashi then tells him that he is too late to test it out because they are all already dead. Kakashi tells Sasuke that Revenge will not truly bring happiness to him and is the wrong answer and leaves him, trusting he will not choose vengeance.

Two days later,

Shuichi woke up early and started his Daily training with his Father, A guard came inside and informed Shuichi that he is summoned at Hokage office.

Shuichi mumbled, "at this time?". Hiashi frowned "must be an emergency mission. go".

When he reached the place, Sakura was in tears while Naruto is arguing with Tsunade to not waste time.

Shuichi asked Tsunade "What happened, Hokage sama?

why were we summoned at this hour and why is this weak girl crying?".

Tsunade frowned at his remark but informed them "Sasuke Uchiha abandoned the village. You five are assigned a Mission to bring back Sasuke alive".

Shuichi asked "May I ask Hokage sama, why us. You can just send Anbu". She replied, "There's no one available aside from you five".

"Shikamaru will be the leader of the team". They nodded. "OK, go". After everyone went outside, Shuichi remained. Tsunade looked at him "Do you need something?".

Shuichi asked, "Hokage sama, Just one final question". "Hurry up". "What if we defeat the four of them but Sasuke still refuses to return. then what should we do he If intent on battling us seriously?"

She made a serious face "Leave Sasuke to Naruto. Your mission is a bit different from them".

"Yes?". "Bring back everyone alive".

Shuichi nodded and bowed "Yes, Hokage sama".

Before they leave, Sakura pleads to Naruto to make sure to bring Sasuke back. Naruto promises to do so, and the group sets out.
