One month ago, a few days after Shuichi's status as Akatsuki member was leaked,

At Konoha

Kakashi Hatake rests in a hospital, while Sakura Haruno tells Tsunade that the deceased Akatsuki member Sasori told her that he was supposed to meet a spy within Orochimaru's ranks at the Tenchi Bridge in 2 weeks.

As one week had already passed, Naruto Uzumaki realizes the need of another teammate and so, starting searching Konoha for a willing recruit. He runs into Team Kurenai, but they are unable to help, as they are assigned a mission of their own.

Then, He goes to Team Asuma asking Shikamaru, but as he was busy, he went to Ino's house. Her father pointed towards her who was sitting beside the window and staring outside while seeming lost in thoughts. She looked as if she lost everything. Naruto asked him "What happened?".

Inoichi replied, "you better ask her yourself". Naruto went to her and called her "Ino". But she didn't respond and kept on mumbling "Akatsuki...Terrorist...Shu kun...".

Inoichi helplessly said, "she's been in that state ever since she found out Shuichi joined Akatsuki". Naruto looked at her and spoke with a determined voice "don't worry Ino. I will bring him back to Konoha". She didn't reply anything as if she didn't hear him at all. Naruto then left her house and went to Choji".

Inoichi looked at her and sighed "It's been more than two years since he left Konoha. Why can't she still forget about him? It's my fault. I should have known she's serious".

Later, while Choji agreed, someone suddenly attacks both of them with a shuriken. They jumped side and dodged it. When Naruto thought of an enemy, a little girl who was only 10-11 years of age but has a forehead protector on her head indicating she's at least a genin. The most prominent feature of her is that she has white eyes.

"Not bad Naruto-Niisan". upon looking at her, while Choji smiled, Naruto was shocked "you are already a genin?". She replied confidently "of course".

Then, she said "Hokage sama is summoning you. let's go". He said farewell to choji and went with her to the Hokage office.

Meanwhile, an Anbu stood before Tsunade and removed his mask. She said "you are hereby relieved of your anbu duties. your new name will be Yamato". He nodded.

A while later, Naruto, the little Hyuga and Sakura who met them on the way went to Hokage office. They entered the door while finding Yamato standing before Tsunade.

the little Hyuga then reported "Hokage sama, I brought them". and just when she was about to go back, Tsunade spoke, "wait". She turned back "yes, hokage sama?".

Tsunade then said "Do you think I called you only to bring back them? you stay here". She nodded while Naruto and Sakura got confused as who's this new person and why is she here.

Tsunade then spoke "He's Yamato. He and Hanabi Hyuga will belong to Team Kakashi from now onwards". "What!!". The three of them were completely shocked.

Later, Naruto went to kakashi who was still in hospital and passed the information. He nodded "I know. I was the one who recommended both of them to you. Hanabi may look like a little girl, but she was an absolute genius of her clan. She was stronger than Neji when he fought you in chunin finals you know".

Naruto then asked "then, how does she compare to Shuichi?". After a few moments of silence, he spoke "Shuichi can't be categorised as a genius. He was more like a monster. Ordinary geniuses can't be compared to him". Naruto mumbled, "a monster huh". Then, he looked at Kakashi "sensei, tell me. did Shuichi really joined Akatsuki?".

Kakashi replied "yeah. a trusted source of us confirmed him wearing a black robe with red clouds". Naruto asked frustratingly "why? I can at least try to understand him leaving the village but why Akatsuki?".

Kakashi looked outside of the window and replied: "only he can tell you the answer. by the way, isn't it something else you should be thinking about?". "Hmm?".

"Orochimaru is dead. Now, what happens to Sasuke?". When realised the important issue "yea, that's right. Now without Orochimaru, I can convince Sasuke easily. Who knows he's already wishing to come back but hesitating to do so".

Kakashi then replied "well, this may also get turned into a trap. so, be careful. Yamato was assigned especially because of you. If you ever lost control like before, he can control you. By the time you come back, I will be discharged. It's time you learn some ninjutsu".

Naruto got instantly excited "really? that's awesome".

ten days later, Team kakashi returned with disappointment because they found the spy Kabuto waiting for Sasori. Yamato went in disguise to meet him. Kabuto wasn't able to tell he was a disguise as he is a wood user who can transform perfectly.

After Kabuto was captured by Yamato, he spills out the location of Orochimaru's hideout where Sasuke is staying.

When they entered the hideout which looked dark and completely like a maze, he activated a trap by mistakenly stepping on it. They immediately dealt with it. After a series of traps and met some former subordinates of Orochimaru who attacked them, he took an opportunity and escaped.

Back to the present,

Naruto and his shadow clones were training and try to cut waterfall. Sakura upon seeing Naruto working very hard makes Medicine pills which Hanabi comments that it tastes disgusting.

Meanwhile at Mountain graveyard,

Zetsu upon seeing both of them "How?". Shuichi replied while rubbing his chin "well, it's actually by luck". Zetsu retorted "what do you mean by luck. until now you took like two to three dozens of my clones.

you always kept secret and give me an excuse by saying that it's for your research for the past month and every once in a while, your shadow clone comes and take a couple of clones with them. so, this is what you are doing".

Shuichi nodded "well. I was searching for them for the past month. I only appeared now because I finally found them. you are really lucky you know. If I didn't get them now, I would have asked you for some more".

Zetsu then asked "Can't you just inform me about it? I can just bring lots of samples for you while I'm on a mission. by the way, Why don't you summon all of them. I would like to see if there are any notable shinobi in them".

Shuichi replied with a blank face "there's none". "huh?". "I told you, there's no one else". Zetsu asked "how come. don't tell me you released them all?". Shuichi nodded "that's right. I don't need weak shinobi. Moreover, they are just used for research to perfect my jutsu".

Black Zetsu while looking at him "it's better if I look at someone who can also do this jutsu. If I don't hurry and he will only collect strong shinobi. Not only he would become too strong to control later, but he would also waste countless normal shinobi which we can use them as an army later.

Hmm, if Orochimaru knows it, probably his disciple also knew it? Sasuke is impossible. I don't think he will have the d.e.s.i.r.e to learn it but what about another one? After a few days,

Kakazu and Hidan seem to be fighting Two-tailed beast. At first, it overwhelmed them, but later, Hidan, the immortal member of Akatsuki defeats her while Kakuzu decides their next destination is the Land of fire.
