The Sharingan Hyuga

After Nagato brought back Kakashi and others to life in exchange of his own while entrusting his dream to Naruto, he dies. Konan then sadly collected Yahiko's dried flesh corpse "sigh. That Shuichi is too cruel. Look how Yahiko had become". Then, she wrapped both of their corpses with Paper Ninjutsu.

Naruto asked, "so, what will you do now?". She replied "well, my ambitions died with Nagato. I don't have any reason to stay in Akatsuki any longer. I'll just go back to Amegakure and spend the rest of my life there".

Later, after Naruto reported everything to Tsunade, she asked him to keep secret the matter about Shuichi which bewildered him. Still, Naruto kept his promise to her and didn't inform anyone about Shuichi's involvement.

But after a week later, when she got a letter from the land of Iron, she immediately summoned Ino, Sakura, Naruto as well as Kakashi and Shikamaru to the Hokage office. She spoke "there are two important things you all should know. but..." then she looked at Ino "it's better if you tell them about it". Ino nodded and looked at them seriously "the Reaper is none other than Shuichi".

While Kakashi was calm as he expected it, Naruto was shocked "What!!! so, the one we meet that day is Shuichi?". Kakashi nodded and thought "no wonder, he didn't attack and disappeared right before Hanabi reached us". Then, Ino said "we can discuss it later. you should listen to the next one".

They stopped thinking about it for a second and looked at Ino seriously. She spoke, "Sasuke joined Akatsuki". Sakura screamed "What!!! why?". Naruto asked "you are joking right?. Why would Sasuke join Akatsuki when he should return to the village after killing Itachi?".

Tsunade replied, "we don't know about the reasons but he was sighted by Ino in the Land of Lightning". Ino spoke, "I saw him battling against Hachibi coincidentally and Raikage even lost an arm in that battle". Kakashi asked "so, I guess he is a wanted criminal in Kumogakure?".

Tsunade shook her head "no, there wasn't any official notice yet. We should bring him back before he was labelled as one. You already know about the situation with Shuichi. If Sasuke too was branded as one there, the alliance between Kumo and Konoha which is barely holding on might break in an instant.

I need to attend the Kage summit next month where the fate of Akatsuki is decided. Before then, you need to bring back both of them. I'm assigning you six, a joint A-rank Mission. But the mission may elevate to S-rank at any time. That's why I'm giving you one day of preparation. Gather additional volunteers for it. Your mission is to bring back Sasuke Uchiha and Shuichi Hyuga back to Konoha before one month. As for how you bring them back, I'll leave it you all".

While Ino, Naruto and Sakura smiled, Shikamaru asked: "Hokage-sama, what happens if we fail?". Ino scolded while grabbing his ear "hey, don't say that". While Tsunade became silent, Kakashi replied in place of her "most likely all Akatsuki members will be branded as S-rank criminal in all five great nations. It would mean our village will not have any right to protect either of them".

Tsunade nodded "it hasn't been decided but it will go that way most likely. I have no concern about Shuichi. He mastered Fourth Hokage's Hiraishin. He can escape at any time. But Sasuke is another matter. That's why no matter what, you should bring back Sasuke before he does something to face the wrath of other Kages.

While Sakura got worried, Naruto clutched his fist in frustration "but Shuichi..." Tsunade interrupted him "Naruto...". He became silent and didn't continue what he is saying.

When Hinata heard about it, at first she told that she doesn't want to go against Shuichi's wishes. But Hanabi who just returned to the village a couple of days earlier told her about the incident happened more than a month ago and convinced her to come out of retirement and join Team 8 once again.

One day later, at the gate, Team Kakashi, Team Gai, Team Kurenai and Team Asuma were gathered. well, Kurenai is pregnant. so, she wasn't able to join. They all set out to complete their mission.

Meanwhile, Shuichi is standing before Yakumo and Sai's grave at the Showa hill. He spoke "I'm sorry. I was busy in this past couple of months. So, I wasn't able to come here. So many things have happened. I don't know what should I do.

On one hand, I feel like living in the genjutsu that Zetsu and Madara wished to project all the world is a good thing. There will be no more wars, no more conflicts between each other, No more plotting behind a shinobi by their own villages and no shinobi have to die like you two.

On the other hand, I kept thinking what is the use of living in a world where nothing is real?. Isn't it just the same as sleeping and dreaming whatever they want? But this isn't just about me. It's about the fate of the entire world".

He then started to remember the scenes of the second and third shinobi wars and various scenes he saw through black Zetsu and then also remembers the scene he killed Yakumo and how Sai died. He sighed while pulling out a scroll. After he unsealed it, a Horn appeared.

He picked it up and asked himself "I gave away Kinkaku and Ginkaku to seal Kyuubi chakra inside the statue but why wasn't I able to give this?. I just need to seal this inside the statue. It may take a lot of time but still, Eye of the moon plan will be a success. But why did I hesitate? Am I against it? then what am I still doing at Akatsuki? Why didn't I reported about the plan to Hokage-sama yet".

He laid on the grass and looked up in the sky and spoke "honestly, I don't know whether I did the right thing joining Akatsuki or not. I gave enough information to Hokage-sama all this while and yet because of secrecy, Konoha kept it for their own and didn't pass it to other villages.

Even with all the information I gave, just because I didn't provide any information about Pain, they didn't trust me enough and send Jiraya to get information who met his demise at the end. I have to save them from Pain from the attack because they weren't prepared enough or maybe they were prepared but weren't strong enough. who knows".

Well, at least Naruto did a good job. If it was me, I would have just killed both of them. I can't make Nagato change his views and bring back Kakashi sensei and all the lives from the dead by sacrificing himself".

Shuichi smiled while thinking about Naruto and their mission in the land of waves "that idiot really is an unpredictable ninja". Then, he started to talk to both of them the things he had done in the past two months and slowly drifted to sleep.

A while later, He woke and stood up. He turned back and looked at two of their graves "Yakumo, Sai. I'm going back. There's a lot to do. See ya".

A couple of days later, they reached one of the hideouts located at the Fire country border, where he treated Hiashi and saved Hanabi before. They looked around and found nothing other than some scrolls with weird drawings of a beast with ten tails and a Giant tree with a single fruit and a face with rinnegan eyes.

Then there is a big circle drawn with many tomoe. and there are drawings of various hand seals changing over and over indicating hand seals for a new jutsu creation. A pyramid with a spiral pattern drawn below them and there's something else drawn in the middle of the pyramid diagram.

In another scroll, there are several Rasenshuriken drawn for some reason. but the weird thing is that instead of four edges, each one has their number of edges different. and each circle in the middle have been sketched differently

Finally, they saw a drawing of Sharingan, Mangekyou sharingan a huge plus symbol with Tree and then a Rinnegan in one scroll and the other scroll contains Byakugan and question marks.

Kiba spoke, "I don't understand a single thing from these drawings". Not only Kiba, no one understood the meaning of his drawings although they can understand some drawings like sharingan and byakugan.

Then Ino pointed the mangekyou sharingan in the drawings "I know about this. It belongs to Shuichi. When he saved me from masked Akatsuki member, I saw the same pattern in his eyes". Kakashi listened to her and thought "Mangekyou sharingan".

Naruto then pointed at Rinnegan "I know them". He slipped out "Nagato and Shuichi have these eyes. I saw them when we fought Pain together". "What!!!"
