After Asta beat all of them down, He was worn out by fighting those wild boars and as well as Noelle's misfired Water Balls Magic towards him. Xerx looked coldly at him and said, "carry one of those. It may take one more day to reach Saussy village. That will be tonight's supper".

Asta asked, "but why me?". Xerx replied, "I'm the leader" and then as Asta turned towards Noelle, she replied, "do you expect me, a member of the royal family to carry that? moreover, how dare you to ask a girl to carry a boar on her back? this is why peasants are....."

She didn't speak further when she saw the injuries on her and remembered the trouble she made to Asta by misfiring the spell and not only dragged other boars towards them but also hit Asta by mistake.

She slowly apologized, "sorry" as she remembered Asta protecting her when her magic went out of her control and unintentionally traps herself in a giant water ball that is destroying the surrounding area and threatening to drown her.

While they reached the village, they find it was covered in mist. After walking for a while, Noelle said, "I felt like we're lost". Xerx frowned and thought for a while. He ordered, "Asta, cut the mist". Asta looked cluelessly at him, "huh? how in the hell am I supposed to do that?".

Noelle replied, "idiot. Use your head a bit. Didn't I mention earlier that was magic? Your Anti-Magic sword can cut through any magic". Asta looked at her while widening his eyes, "Ah! that's right".

He took out the anti-magic sword from the grimoire and swing at the mist. while the mist before them was disappeared a bit, He constantly swung his sword while making a path.

A while later, They end up at the main square and find the townspeople huddled together with deadly ice spikes hanging over them.

Xerx frowned, "The enemy also has ice magic". He took out his grimoire, "Ice Dragon". a dragon which is typically in the shape of a Chinese dragon made of ice appeared and destroyed itself after swallowing all of those ice spikes.

After it's self-destruction, the debris of it began to fell and some of them lightly injured the town's people. Noelle frowned, "didn't you have any other spell than that to save them?". Xerx replied, "I'm not a fire user to destroy ice magic.

These peasants should be even happy that we came to their rescue". As the people were relieved when the magic knights came to rescue and became happy, their smile froze when they heard his words.

But despite that, a lot of people still felt thankful to him as he destroyed those ice spikes. Just when Asta was about to say something, a voice spoke from nearby, "how dare you put me behind schedule?". When Asta and Noelle turned towards the voice,

He raised his hand while his grimoire is in his floating. Instantly a huge irregular block of ice and attacked them.

While Xerx preparing the Ice dragon spell to stop it, Asta dashed towards it and cut it into the half with his Anti-Magic sword. Asta looked at him in anger, "Who the heck are you guys?". Xerx thought, "they don't seem like spies from the Diamond Kingdom or barbarians here to trash the village".

One of Heath's subordinates spoke, "I don't recall hearing anything about Magic Knights showing up". Heath replied, "could they be out of unofficial mission? They even deployed a vice-captain of Purple Orca to here.

Hmm, I heard that their previous Captain was captured and a 16-year-old kid became the new captain all of a sudden foiling some of our plans. Anyway, since they are already here, they should be buried in this village along with them".

One of his subordinates raised his hand, "Mist magic: Whirlpool of Illusionary Mist". While the mist began to spread around, Asta dashed forward and hack it with his Anti magic sword making it disappear".

Heath frowned, "he cut my ice magic and now he nullified mist magic. Is that sword negates magic itself?". Asta loudly asked, "why in the hell are you trying to kill these innocent villagers?".

He stood up and replied, "the world is split into several regions. The noble realm is where nobles and royalty lives, the commoner realm is here commoners lives and the forsaken realm. This village locates in the forsaken realm. Do you know why it is called the forsaken realm? because it is the region which was forsaken by mana.

Most of the people living here are just worthless trash who can only magic for daily tasks. You people have enough magic power to join Magic Knights, did you not? You are only trying to save them just because its a mission, isn't it?

Everyone heard it clearly when your vice-captain over there spoke how lowly they truly are. So, Isn't it the truth that you also see them nothing more than just worthless trash, are you not?"

Asta began to boil up in anger and pointed the sword towards him, "the people you called worthless trash are the lives I have to protect at all costs". Heath replied, "I see. All the four subordinates of him began to form the mist high above in the sky. A while later, countless icicles were formed in the atmosphere as Heath raised his hand "Ice and mist Compound magic: Endless Ice cage".

The icicles started to attack the villages while Asta is cutting them down and Xerx is silently absorbing them into his ice dragon magic. Noelle attacked Heath with a Water Ball but because of her terrible control, it wasn't able to hit him.

Heath looked at her, "it seems Purple Orca is desperate for members. Even a member like you managed to become a Magic Knight. What can I expect from a kid like him". As the attacks became faster, the icicles began to harm the villages.

Noelle looked at the attacks in a bit of fear, "what should I do? I can't help the team. I can't save the villagers. I will also die here...". Then, a little girl pulled her dress from behind while crying in fear, "please, save us".

Her grimoire started to glow while the pages turned by itself. Then, a new spell appeared on it, "Water Creation magic: Sea Dragon's Nest". While the water began to rise around all of them, it changed into a sphere and covered everyone on all sides while blocking all the attacks of icicles.

She looked at him seriously, "As a member of Purple Orca and a royalty, I will protect these people at all costs". As it formed a dome with water magic, Heath was shocked, "what is this absurd magic power?".

Asta dashed towards him in that moment of surprise and attacked him. Heath who was hit coughed blood but smiled as there was ice at Asta's feet. Asta cursed, "damn it, even in that state, he managed to make me broke my momentum by making me slip on a patch of ice?".

Heath laughed, "even though you can negate magic, you are still a normal human, after all". The pages in his grimoire started to turn "Now, it's my turn, Icemagic: Heavenly Ice Fang". a large icicle formed and hit Asta right on the stomach. Asta coughed blood and fell on the ground.

Heath went to the Water Dome and tried to freeze a part of it "well, it would take time but, I will just have to create an opening for one person". A voice spoke from behind, "not yet". Asta once again attacked him. A while later, Asta is full of blood injuries while standing weakly, "Not yet". But his strength is almost gone as he's about to faint while his sword fell on the ground.

Heath walked towards him and just when he reached the middle, suddenly from the sky, an Ice dragon descended. He tried to attack it with the Heavenly Ice fang but it swallowed it up and self-destructed itself after almost nearing him.

Heath was thrown far away and fell unconscious. When his subordinates dashed towards him to help, another Ice dragon descended from the sky and swallowed all of them up and froze them in its belly while falling on the ground.

After a while, Heath woke up and found himself captured and his neck was bound by a collar "so, my magic has been sealed, huh. But never mind". Then a purple glow appeared on his c.h.e.s.t "Ice magic: Ice Burial" shocking three of them. Xerx thought, "there was a magic item hidden inside him?". Countless icicles began to protrude outwards as he encases himself in ice. A short moment later, it shattered and killed him along with it.
