1- So what was there was 父亲是倒插门 or Fùqīn shì dàochāmén. I couldn't really get a proper meaning but I know Fuqin is for  father and as for the dàochāmén a definition I found is: to marry and live with the bride's family (inverting traditional Chinese expectations).

I don't think it means the first part about marrying into the bride's family, but what's in the brackets. So basically I think it's referring to how the roles of the mother and father are basically reversed, compared with the Chinese norm with the mother or woman in the family being the main breadwinner rather than the husband or man of the family.
