The next day Yakumo was on her way to the hospital to visit her teammates, while she was thinking of ways to get stronger to help the team out more. She remembered she had wind nature chakra and could cut a leaf in half, but that didn't help her in real battles. She needed to learn some wind style jutsu. Anko didn't know any so she would ask the smartest guy she knew on how to get some wind jutsu.

Going to visit Raiden first she knocked on the door "come in" from inside said. Entering she say Raiden sitting up and was working on some type of seal. Over there time together on team 13 she knew somethings about seals since Raiden made sure everyone could at least.

"Hey Raiden. How are you feeling?" Yakumo asked.

Looking up from the last detail of his seal he smiled at Yakumo "Hey Yakumo. I'm doing pretty good for being half dead, but it sucks that I can't go see Oormi. Could you tell her that when we both get out ill take her on a date." Raiden said as Yakumo sat next to his bed.

"Yeah sure. What seal are you working on now?" Yakumo said looking at the seal infront of Raiden with curiosity.

"It's a new seal. I'll tell you about it later. So I suggest you learn medical ninjutsu and some poision techniques since your our long range fighter. You don't have to listen to me but I could feel your chakra in turmoil about something so I just assumed it was about how you could help the team other than just genjutsu." Raiden said looking at Yakumo. She thought about it for awhile thinking 'If I learn posion then that would help alot and medical ninjutsu. I was useless to help either of them.' looking down, but when she came to her decision she looked at Raiden and nodded. After that they talked for awhile about her training with Raiden suggesting asking Anko sensei about posions and someone at the hospital about some medical ninjutsu.

After she left Raiden but the seal away and took out his seal book learing about the chakra network and on how to seal small parts of it. He was months maybe a year from getting the hang of it, but he figured that if he trained the Byakugan it would lessen the time considerable 'I already know the hand signs so dosen't matter if they want to train me or not.' Raiden was thinking.

Still reading the book there was a knock on the door 'judging from the chakra it's her' Raiden thought before calling for her to come in. Kurenai walked in wearing make-up consisting of red lipstick and purple eye shadow and a new outfit of a red mesh armour blouse with only the right sleeve visible. Overall, this is very broad material which resembles bandages with a pattern on it similar to those of rose thorns. Her hands and upper t.h.i.g.hs are also wrapped in bandages and she wears the Konoha forehead protector and regular shinobi sandals. She was carring a basket of fruit and some flowers.

"Hey you looking better than expected considering what Anko, Hana, and Yugao said of your injuries." Kurenai said with a smile.

"It's good to see Ruby. By the way I like the new look." Raiden said with a flirty smile making Kurenai blush at her nickname. Putting down the basket and putting the flowers on the bedside table. Peeling an apple they sat in silence for a bit until Raiden broke it.

"You know I always wanted to know something about you." Raiden said looking at Kurenai.

"Yes what is it?" Kurenai said.

"Why do you use only genjutsu? Does it have to do with your eyes?" Raiden asked.

Kurenai stopped pealing and looked at Raiden before going back to pealing the apple.

"It dosen't have anything to my eyes. It's just that every genjutsu that I study so far is easy to comprehend. Not to mentaion I have a few things I want to keep to myself for now." Kurenai said. After that she cut the apple up into bit size pieces on the plate and handed it to Raiden who had a sly smrik on his face.

"You know Ruby I don't think I can use my hands right now so could you feed it to me?" Raiden said making Kurenai blush as red as her eyes.

"W-w-what do you mean f-feed them to you?" she said looking embarrassed. Then she looked at Raidens hands and saw that they were in bandages 'it's a good thing she didn't see the seal I finished hehe' Raiden thought.

"Haaa. Alright fine, but this dose't mean anything. Alright." she said with a stern look with a blush still on her cheek. After feeding Raiden the apples she sat back and started thinking about the first time they meet, and how he wasn't going to be able to participate in the Chunin Exams this time.

"So I guess it was a good thing that you didn't beat on this years chunin exams huh." Kurenai said looking at Raiden.

"Yeah. It sucks but where not going to be reay in half a month, but the next one I'll be ready and stronger than ever. That battle taught me somethings about myself." Raiden said bringing his hand to his right eye. "I'm surprised you haven't asked about my eye or about the mission in general." Raiden said.

"It's not that I don't want to know but I figured you'll tell me when you want to." Kurenai said.

" What's your dream Ruby?" Raiden said looking out of the open window as he had a view of the Hokage mountain. He was looking at his father and uncle with a deep look in his eye that Kurenai noticed, and if she was being honest with herself she found it attractive.

"My dream is to have a family one day. Pretty simple dream huh." Kurenai said making Raiden look at her. She was surprised when Raiden held out his hand for her to take it. Hesitating for a bit she fianlly took his hand gently. Raiden brought her to sit on his bed while still holding her hands, and looked in her eye's.

"What if my dream isn't in this village Ruby?" Raiden asked her.

" Then where does your dream lay?" She asked him, and just as he was about to answer he turned his head to the window with a smrik

"What is it?" Kurenai asked. She really wanted to know about his dream, but knowing he was a sensory type she knew someone was coming. Much to her dislikement she tried to take her hand back but Raiden held on to it and sat back rubbing her hand in the same manner he did at the bar. Soon Kakashi was in the window reading a orange book.

"Hey Raiden I he-" and he stopped talking when he realized that one of his childhood friends was holding hands with someone he saw as a friend in Raiden. His one eye showing got large and he sweat dropped. "U-u-umm Im not ruining anything am I?" Kakashi asked rubbig the back of his head 'seems like Asuma lost his chance. I told him to man up a long time ago.' Kakashi thought.

"Nah it's cool Kakashi. Me and Ruby here were just talking about when we where going to get married." Raiden said with a straight face wanting to make Kurenai embarrassed to the max, and judging from her face it was working.

"Uh Ruby? Marriage?" Kakashi asked with a questioning look.

"Yeah I call Kurenai ruby on the account of her beautiful eyes. I told her they are like precious gems. Like rubys and that's been her name for me ever since." Raiden said shocking Kakashi so bad that he dropped his book. Kurenai just sat there in a daze as he long time friend thinks that she's about to marry someone 10 years younger with her being 24yrs old. Raiden brought Kurenai close to him so her ear was next to his mouth and whisperd "Do you think we broke him?" Raiden said in amus.e.m.e.nt as Kurenai fianlly got why he said those things as she looked at Kakashi who was still in shock about what Raiden said.

" Look Kakashi we aren't talking about getting married ok, but we did have a beat that if I make chunin or jounin in 6 months to a year I would get to take her on a date." Raiden said leaning back

"Oh thank goddness. I don't know if my heart could of taken that much of a shock." Kakashi said wipping sweat off of his forehead. "I just came to check on you. Heard you had a tough mission and lost an eye." Kakashi said looking at Raiden.

"Yeah. The guy I was fighting was jounin level so I'd say I came out of it alright." Raiden said.

"So I guess you don't need this book to pass the time then." Kakashi said holding up a little orange book. Kurenai recognized the book and a strong killing intent came from her making both the boys in the room straighten up and look at her in fear.

"So Raiden how do you know of that book?" Kurenai asked in a sweet voice, but if the Omi mask behind her was anything to go by his answer could kill him. Thinking quickly Raiden came up with a perfect lie.

"You see Ruby Kakashi told me if I wanted to be a man I needed to read the books." Raiden answered with a innocent smile much to the shocked of Kakashi seeing how his friend had just lied on him. Sweating bullets he turned to Kurenai and almost shit himself from the glare she was giving him.

Just as Kakashi was about to say something the Hokage walked in, and looked around. Kakashi in the window and Kurenai holding Raiden's hand.

"Hey old geezer. Im guessing you have the item." Raiiden said.

"Yes of course. I need to speak to you alone though Raiden." Sarutobi said

Kurenai and Kakashi got the hint with Kakashi leaving in a puff of smoke as fast as light . As Kurenai was about to leave she surprised Raiden as she bent down and gave him a kiss on the cheek, and walked off and leaving. Watching her leave Raiden had a slight blush on his face and feeling sorry for Kakashi when his Ruby found him.

As Sarutobi sealed off the room he gave Raiden an all white eyepatch. Taking out the paper seal he finished he got up and went in the middle of the room. Placing the paper seal in on the floor he put the eyepatch on top of it. Kanjis started to go out from the middle of the room and almost touch the four walls, then they raised in the air as Raiden started going through a long number of hand signs, finishing in the Ram-sign he slapped his right hand down on them both [Ninja Art: Blood Absorption Eye Seal] the kanji's all went towards the eyepatch, and soon it formed in the image of a red dragon coiling in the middle. Picking up the eyepatch Raiden took off the bandages from his right eye. The eyepatch stretching from the back of his head around to the eyepiece on his right eye, with it going around to the back of his head, and is connected by two chains around his left eye. Looking at it in the mirror Raiden nodded his head. Sarutobi tried to feel the chakra of the byakugan but couldn't.

"What seal is that Raiden I can't feel anything from that eye at all." Sarutobi asked.

"It's a seal I came up with. It's a blood seal stops anyone from taking the eyepatch off unless the have my permisson, and if they try to remove or destroy it by force then the seal well send back either the charka or kinetic energy used by double if. Here try it." Raiden said to the Hokage. Reaching forward he tried to take the eyepatch off, but when his hand come within an inch he felt something leave his hand, then when he was about to ask what happened his hand was pushed back by an unseen force. Looking on in astonishment.

"My word. That is a very powerful seal you have created. How do you maintain it? It seems that it should eat up some chakra." Sarutobi said.

"It takes the energy of who ever is tring to do anything with the seal. Then it uses some of my chakra to give the seal the extra boost making it double the rebound since I have so damn much of it, but since my body hasn't m.a.t.u.r.e yet." Raiden said with a smile.
