The Soul Of Lucifer

Chapter 15 - Esperia Magic School

Sun turned around and saw Rea de Camille standing there.

She wore a black jacket with blue jeans and hair was tied to a ponytail behind. The petite girl did not really emit the aura of an Awakened.

"This girls looks still like a Loli to me.", Sun thought while giving off a wry smile.

"Let's go to Area 4, this should be it.", Rea said and took out two tickets and showed them to the guard.

After seeing those shiny tickets, the guard immediately stood up straighter and gestured us to enter the portal.

"She must have used some kind of VIP Class tickets", Sun thought because normally, the tickets are white and not golden.

Sun did not know about this since his knowledge in this kind of field is still inferior.

"Now, we're inside. Sun, just relax and feel the flow.", Rea smiled while explaining the usage of the portal.

After a brief crash course about long-distance teleportation, they started to chant a spell in the ancient language of the Espers.

Soon after, the scenery of the portal room curved to both sides forming giving off a sphere like feeling to the caster. The teleportation is basically breaking through the space-time connection. The sphere-forming is just the bending of light. In fact, teleportation is fundamentally a light spell.

Everything around them changed and looked very unusual. Sun thought it resembled a part of the movie "Interstellar", a movie he watched when he was a child.

*Suuum*

It happened in an instant. The portal room in which Sun stood in changed to a room with lighter coloring.

"We're here. Welcome to Esperia Magic School! The best Magic school in the country. starting tomorrow, you'll be a student under my guidance! I'll take good care of you.

To me, you're like a rough diamond waiting to be smoothened by me. HIHI", Rea smiled friendly to express her excitement.

"You're really just a loli, aren't you? Giving me those sweet smiles!", Sun secretly thought.

"Thank you again for giving me this opportunity!", is what Sun actually said.

"Well Sun, I still need to get some papers sorted out, so I'll leave you to the admission desks.

Just tell the management your name. They'll show you around campus. I'll be off now. ", after saying that, she left in a hurry.

Sun was curious about the prestigious Magic School every since they left the portal room.

This place is about as big as 20 soccer fields, with different branches. There was also a colosseum, but currently empty.

There were soo many new insights for Sun while taking a short walk the admission desk.

Students from 16-20 were walking here and there, talking to each other. A fresh breeze blew Sun from the behind, making him feel a bit lazy. The sun was shining surrounded by the blue sky. It was a clear day. A perfect day for exploring the school grounds. But since Rea told him to go the admission desks, he couldn't easily stroll around freely without registering.

After a short walk, he finally saw a big sign with "Admission".

There was a transparent wall between him and the management people. Sun sighted and walked towards the office.

"Yes, how can I help you ?"

"Uhm, I'm a student here. My name is Sun Reed. 15 years old. Freshman."

"Okay, wait a second.", she swiped with her fingers and a screen appeared before her.

Sun stared at her with big eyes. He never saw something like this.

"Uhm, Sir? Is everything alright?"

"Ahem, yes. No problem. Sorry for the interruption."

...

"Well, Su Reed, was it?"

"Yes."

"Your room will be 702. Westside. It is a special room, designed for three people. Unlike the double and quadruple suites here.

Oh, I see. You're an honor student. That's why!

Keep up the good work!"

"Oh, thank you very much!"

"My colleague will show you the way. You can firstly unpack your belongings. After that, she'll show you around campus.", the woman smiled and pointed to the person behind her.

Sun did not see the face of the person clearly because of the glass reflection and when he leaned forward to the glass, the person already left the office.

"Follow me, Sir Reed.", a gentle voice vibrated through the air.

A woman in her mid-twenties called him.

"Hm, this wasn't the person I've expected. Her figure was not like her.", Sun wondered for a moment but lost interest in his thought.

...

A bit of walking later, Sun stood before a giant villa. The sign indicated that he was a part of this place.

"Edward Howson

Sun Reed"

"Sir, here your key. Make sure to not lose it.", the female office lady said.

"Sure. Thank you. I'll be back in a few minutes."

Sun unlocked the door and walked inside. The interior design was as flawless as the other Esperian architectures – mesmerizing.

After a bit off looking around, he found no one inside the house.

Shortly after that realization, he found his area. There was a sign highlighting his name.

The villa is very luxurious because it was evenly spaced for three people. The areas consisted of a bedroom, a cultivation room, a bathroom, and a study room.

The kitchen and living room was accessible for all roommates.

Sun was very excited to get to know his new friends.

"Was it to your taste?", the guide asked him outside.

"Yes, very pleasing.", Sun said while feeling treated like some kind of royalty.

"Didn't she realize that I'm human ?", Sun thought.

"Well, I guess that not that many Esperians despise humans.", second thought.

"Do you know when my other roommates will arrive?", Sun asked her out of curiosity.

"I'll estimate between 7 and 9 PM. Those two are noble, so they'll arrive a bit later because of the family ceremonies. ", she said wisely.

"Oh, is that so. It's only 4 PM, so let's check out the campus!", Sun said with an excited face.

"Sure.", the lady said.
