She nodded while turning her head to the ground. Sun went one step forward and wondered what she was doing.

Rena was startled as she noticed Sun got nearer and pushed him away.

"Uhm, sorry! I really need to go!"

Her face turned red and she started to run.

"What's up with her? Turning from gloomy to so vivid ... I don't get it", Sun scratched the back of his head.

The fact that Rena never showed any sign of emotion on her face and this accident was her first did Sun not know of course.

Rena is a very special girl with the unique ability to see the Aura of the Soul Origins. Normally, the Soul Origin is invisible to human and Esper eyes, but there are some cases of Ultear Supersensitivity.

The Ultear is what manifests Soul Origins in the Mortal Realm. It's working like Magic Stamina, so Soul Origins have different durations of the usage. Ultear is generated by mages by default, but the amount can be increased by intense physical training. The Soul Origin is the trump card of every mage in Esperia. It is the ultimate spell of a caster and can be used for an extended duration of time, but it also depleted the most of magic stamina.

Sun took the route which his student ID AI provided for him and arrived at the Warfare Shop.

From the outside, it looked very shady with the cracked wood border around the half-seethrough windows. The sign 'Warfare Shop' which is engraved into a sign with gold color looked like DIY but in a failed way.

Sun double checked the address before going in.

"Welcome, how can I help you kid?", a very heartwarming female voice spoke out.

Sun looked to her direction and noticed her golden ratio body.

"She's s.e.xy as f*ck!"

"Hmhm", the lady covered her smiling mouth with her hand.

"Ahem, right. May I ask whether a person called William.", Sun got back on track.

"Oh, you're searching for William? Sorry to tell you that William is currently busy.", the lady said while making a very sorry face.

"Is that so? And here I came to visit the guy!", Sun thought out loudly.

"Hm? Are you perhaps Sun Reed?", she asked.

"Yes, I am."

"Hmhm. William always talked about you since he came back from training the gang."

"Hoo?"

"Hmhm. By the way, my name is Sara Morlic. I'm taking care of this shop.", she introduced herself.

"It's my p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e to meet you. My name is, as you already know, Sun Reed."

After the introduction, Sun noticed, that the Warfare Shop's interior design is the complete opposite of the outside.

The place is very clean and had the charm of a 1970s bar. The furniture was chosen very suitably to the atmosphere. The wood used for them looked also very exquisite.

"Is this really the same dirty and shady looking place I saw before entering?", Sun thought.

"Selling these magic weapons and gadgets is our passive income.", Sara seemed to have known what Sun thought.

"Oh, is that so? Then what do you do primary?"

"Demon Hunting."

"Demon Hunting?", Sun was taken aback.

"Yes. We are a team of five mages. Today, the rest are busy with missions from our clients, so I'm maintaining the HQ."

"But what about the science and magic affair? Won't they collide?", Sun asked.

That's also the reason why Esperia can use cutting-edge technology without the MaSci Bomb ( Science and technology colliding)."

"Oh.", Su nodded and understood that he defeated Arcas back then because he used an insane amount of energy to mix both parties up together.

"Come with me.", she said.

"Scan completed. Virtual Body Created. Ready for the match."

Sun's body was scanned by the machine he was lying in. It was a very big machine with sci-fi tech look on it. After the scan, he was sent into a trance state and teleported into a big virtual room.

"Weapon Choice: "

There were all kinds of weapons he could use but Sun decided to 'Unarmed'.

The fighting stage was only an open terrain with no obstacles. Standing 10 meters afar from Sun was Sara, with a long-sword.

"Are you ready?", she asked.

"Yes.", Sun answered calmly.

A mechanic voice sounded through their heads and with 'Start', both said simultaneously:

"Soul Origin: activate !",

Sara was enveloped by a golden light. Soon after, she stood there in a golden armor - looking even s.e.xier than before.

"Let's go!", Sun called out and dashed forward.
