Ch.62 Bully (3)

Ji Yu nodded, so the two children went along hand in hand to line up. The people that surrounded them continued to line up. After Ji Xuan was given a cold shoulder by his daughter, he didn’t feel sad. He was used to it anyway.

He turned to push Xiao Yu’s wheelchair and asked, “Is their family doing okay?”

Xiao Yu smiled and said, “They’re fine, they’re just slightly more well-off than the average, you can crush them anytime.”

Ji Xuan: “……I want to go on the car ride!”

Xiao Yu smiled and said, “Mr. Ji, you’re so childish!”

Ji Xuan: “Xiao, Yu.”

“Oh, okay! Just pretend I didn’t say that.” Xiao Yu quickly admitted that she was wrong, and then went to look for the two children.

The line soon formed behind Ji Yu and Xiao Ruoguang, the train was a six-segment cartoon carriage. The track imitated the ones of a roller coaster, but it was built to be suitable for children on a flatter track. It was also at a constant speed. For a small child, it felt like going up for a spin and just enjoying the breeze.

Ji Yu held onto Xiao Ruoguang and said, “Brother, do you want to sit in front or behind?”

Xiao Ruoguang immediately said, “I’ll sit in front to protect you.”

Ji Yu was moved and said, “Brother, you’re so kind. I’ll buy you a lollipop in a moment.”

Xiao Ruoguang’s eyes dazzled as he said, “Thank you, sister.”

So, the two children got on the ride very lovingly and they rode one round for about 3 minutes. When they came out, Xiao Ruoguang whispered to Xiao Yu: “Mom, it’s so expensive! 30 yuan for each round, it’s only for such a short while. That’s not good, what a waste.”

Xiao Yu stroked his head and said, “It’s okay, son, your father is rich.”

As he listened to him, Ji Xuan immediately hugged Xiao Ruoguang and said distressingly, “It’s okay, Xiaoguang, Dad has a lot of money.”

Xiao Ruoguang immediately said: “But dad worked very hard to earn that money!”

Ji Xuan almost cried movingly, he hugged Xiao Ruoguang tightly and said, “Xiaoguang is a good child.”

As soon as he finished speaking, Ji Xuan successfully received a kick from his daughter, Ji Yu: “Old man, how sexist of you.”

Ji Xuan: “……” Where did she learn that?

“Xiaoyu, you can’t say that to Dad!” Xiao Yu finally voiced out after Ji Yu constantly bullied Ji Xuan for so long.

Ji Yu frowned and asked, “Why not?”

Xiao Yu looked up at the sky in the far distance and said faintly: “A filial son will lead his son to filial piety, and being respectful to others will lead others to be respectful to you. Do you know what it means?”

Ji Yu shook her head, Xiao Yu smiled at her and said: “This sentence means that if you are filial to your parents, your children will learn from you and be filial to you in the future,  and if you respect others, others will naturally respect you. This sentence is from Lin Bu’s “Sheng Xin Lu” during the Song Dynasty, I always kept this in mind after reading it.”

Ji Yu listened thoughtfully, obviously he hadn’t fully understood this simple saying.

Xiao Yu asked: “Xiaoyu, do you want your child to call you an old woman, or that you’re unfair?”

Ji Yu couldn’t think so far in the future, but she understood what she meant by talking bad about her. She said loudly, “I don’t like it.”

Xiao Yu smiled and said, “So, maybe dad doesn’t like to hear you call him that. Maybe he feels very sad every time you call him by that?”

Ji Yu was startled, turned to look at her father, and asked softly: “Dad, do you really feel sad?”

Ji Yu’s pitiful gaze made Ji Xuan feel very distressed, what’s wrong with calling him an old man? In the future, he will become an old man, he was about to say that he was all right with it.

Xiao Ruoguang stepped in and said loudly, “Of course he’s sad! I’ll be sad when others call me by that, so dad must be too.”

Ji Yu’s tears almost rolled down her face: “Then, then I won’t say that to dad anymore. Dad, don’t be sad, Xiaoyu wawa……I don’t want you to feel sad.”

Ji Xuan: “……” This mother and son duo……
