Xiao Yu said in a loud voice, “Have you ever heard of a saying? An exchange of blows may lead to a friendship.”

Peng Wen shook his head, and Xiao Yu continued: “It means that you and Ji Yu may not have known each other before, or weren’t on good terms. After the fight, you’ll become good friends, as evidenced by this cake.”

Peng Wen was shocked, and asked with wide eyes, “Really?”

Xiao Yu said, “Do you hate Ji Yu?”

Peng Wen shook his head, and Xiao Yu said, “Since you didn’t fight out of hatred or because she was a bad kid. Then, you’re going to be the best of friends, and get along well in the future!”

The young boy, Peng Wen, who was forced into the best friend system, didn’t know that something was wrong at the time, but was shocked that he made a friend like this. He looked at the cake in his hand and was slightly embarrassed.

“I actually became friends with Ji Yu?” Peng Wen obviously still felt slightly emotional. The two eyes on his chubby face seemed smaller, but they twinkled brightly. He seemed  rather energized.

He looked at Xiao Yu and asked with uncertainty, “So we’re friends now?”

Children are actually very naive. They can always answer you in the kindest ways. For example, at this moment, after they have passed out the cakes to the class, they answered loudly: “Yes~!”

Of course, whether they could do it or not, it wasn’t certain, but this gesture made Ji Yu much more favourable in the eyes of her classmates.

Before Xiao Yu left, Yu Qiong brought Ji Yu along and walked them out of the classroom. Xiao Yu said to Ji Yu, “Daughter, this is a mission for you! If you make your own friends and best friends, I’ll grant one wish of yours.”

Ji Yu’s eyes lit up, and she nodded immediately: “I’ll be a good girl, and I’ll also be friends with Peng Wen. After I make friends, you’ll grant my wish?”

Xiao Yu nodded, and Ji Yu happily went back, hand in hand with Yu Qiong.
