Yi Lanya naturally knew how important she was to Ji Yu. So, she was very confident that she could become part of the family. As long as her mother didn’t appear, looking at how much Ji Xuan loved and cared for Ji Yu, and how soft-hearted he was, she would most likely succeed.

What happened next? The kid’s mother appeared……

They didn’t invite her to Ji Yu’s birthday party??????

After a sorrowful day, she decided to visit the Ji family.

Ji Yu’s birthday party ended perfectly, some of the children’s parents already picked up their kids, some were still on their way. Xiao Yu had then instructed the driver to send the kids back home one by one.

After everybody left, everything was a mess, Xiao Yu looked at the messy living room and smiled happily.

Ji Xuan: “……Why are you smiling?” He didn’t know what she was happy about.

Xiao Yu sighed: “Luckily, I’m not the one cleaning up after this place!”

Ji Xuan: “……”

She walked to the side of the electronic piano using her stick, and started to play the piece “Ode to Joy.”

It was this moment that Yi Lanya paid a visit, Kong Yuqing pursed her lips and flashed a fake smile when she opened the door: “Teacher Yi, why are you here? Don’t you have work today?”

Yi Lanya smiled: “I remember that it’s Xiaoyu’s birthday today, I’m here to give her a present.”

Ji Yu heard Yi Lanya’s voice from the inside, she then quickly rushed out and shouted loudly: “Teacher Yi.”

Yi Lanya squatted down and said to Ji Yu:“ Happy Birthday Xiaoyu.”

Ji Yu hugged Yi Lanya, Xiao Yu laughed and leaned against the electronic piano : “I’m so jealous of Teacher Yi!”

Ji Yu then turned and ran over to hug Xiao Yu without any hesitation.

“Mr.Ji, this is my birthday present for Xiaoyu.” Yi Lanya walked in the house with the present.

Only then Ji Yu remembered that she forgot to invite Yi Lanya to her party: “I’m so sorry Teacher Yi, I forgot to invite you.”

Yi Lanya was about to act pitiful, but then she heard Xiao Ruoguang say: “Sister, why would you invite a teacher to your party?”

Yi Lanya: “……” You again.

Ji Yu: “ That’s because I would invite Teacher Yi over to all of my birthday parties!”

“But, isn’t it strange for a teacher to come, when you’re celebrating your birthday with your classmates?” Xiao Ruoguangwas confused.

Xiao Yu nodded: “Xiaoguang isn’t wrong, the children came over to celebrate your birthday. If you invited Teacher Yi, you should also invite the other teachers. Since all the teachers and students are here, your party might as well be held in school, isn’t it?  All the children who came should be able to enjoy and play as they want during the party, right? If Teacher Yi was here, who would want to play with the teacher? “

Ji Yu looked at Xiao Yu inexplicably, but she couldn’t find anything wrong with what she’d just said, Yi Lanya clenched her teeth and said:“ You’re right, Ms Xiao.”

Xiao Yu smiled sinisterly : “I thought so too.”

Xiao Ruoguang looked at Ji Xuan in the living room:“ Are we having dinner at home tonight?”

Ji Xuan glanced through the messy house, he saw that everyone was busy, so he said: “ Let’s go out to have dinner and celebrate Xiaoyu’s birthday today.”

Yi Lanya smiled with joy, there won’t be any kids this time, right?

Xiao Ruoguang looked at Yi Lanya awkwardly: “ Teacher, are you going as well?”

Ji Xuan patted his head: “It’s a family dinner, we’ll send her home first.”

Xiao Ruoguang raised his hands in agreement: “Family dinners are the best.”

Grandpa Ji was coming down the stairs at that time. Upon hearing what they said, he gave Yi Lan Ya a meaningful look and said: “I’m tired today. The four of you should go ahead as a family! Great Grandpa won’t interrupt you guys today.”

Yi Lanya: “……” Haha!

Xiao Yu sat in the passenger seat, indirectly forcing Yi Lanya to sit in the back seat.

Yi Lanya didn’t realise at first, until she saw Ji Xuan help her to keep her walking stick at the back of the car, then only she looked at Xiao Yu in shock: “Are your legs fully recovered?”
