The Supreme System

Chapter 11 - Who Is he?

Somewhere in the third layer of the Abyssal Forest.

Four middle aged men, with blood red robes tightly fitted on their bodies, in there forties to fifties could be seen chasing seven people. Compared to these four men, the nine people looked remarkably younger. Wearing purple robes, these nine people looked to be around sixteen to seventeen.

"Give it up! You guys can't outrun us. Give us the grade 4 pills and we will let all of you go."

"Do you think we are stupid. Like hell we'd let you capture us. Sisters, brothers, we need to hurry. They will catch us at this rate."

"Senior Brother, take the treasure and run. Us junior brothers and sisters will help stall them for you."

For the last few days, Xiao Chun and his Co. were mercilessly hunted down while they attempted to flee. None of them believed the Blood Sect when they said they would let them go. Everyone knew the Blood Sect was a cruel and evil sect. Many of the disciples from that sect turned a blind eye to killing. Furthermore, Xiao Chun's sect and the Blood Sect never saw eye to eye. As top sects of the mortal world, both of these sects have gotten into numerous disputes and fights. Although Xiao Chun's grandfather was the Heavenly Light Sect's grand master, the Blood Sect still wouldn't let him go. In the Mortal world, grade 4 pills were extremely rare and only the most powerful sects and empires could own them. By chance, while Xiao Chun and his Co. were on a mission, they stumbled upon some grade 4 pills in an ancient tomb. However, before they could send a message back to their sects, Xiao Chun's sworn brother, out of greed informed the Blood Sect of their location. The Blood Sect had promised his sworn brother that he would receive one of the pills as a reward and would be given an opportunity to join their sects. When the Blood Sect got words that Xiao Chun had grade 4 pills on him, the Blood Sect immediately sent a few elders to take care of the situation. How could these disciples compare to these elders? The strongest disciple there was Xiao Chun, and he was only a mid core development cultivator, while the weakest elder from the Blood Sect was a late core development cultivator. They even brought an early stage golden core cultivator with them! Although Xiao Chun believed he was a genius, he still felt that it would be nearly impossible for them to compete with cultivators one realm above theirs. However, when Xiao Chun heard his junior brothers and sisters would fight to the death for him so that he could escape, he felt extremely touched.

"Junior brothers and sisters, I will stall them. Inform our Sect grand master I was not able to make it back. Take these pills back to our grand master and make sure to tell him it was the Blood Sect." Saying this with a sorrowful face, Xiao Chun took a stance and and began to power up his strongest moves.

Upon hearing this, his junior brothers and sisters began to tear up and began thinking of how wonderful it was to have a senior brother like this.

"Senior Brother Chun, we can't leave you like this. We will fall together."

Hearing his junior brothers and sisters, he couldn't help but think they were being idiots. 'What's the point if we all die. Then no one can avenge us. Sigh.' Giving up, Xiao Chun just let them be.

"If that is how its going to be, then let this be our final battle together junior brothers and sister"

"Yes Senior Brother!"

With their lives on the line, the disciples from the Heavenly Light Sect began to burst in power as they got ready to charge at the four elders.

"AHHH, take this you Bastard!"

"Weaklings trying to fight us. What a bunch of retards," said one of the four elders.

Upon hearing the mocking voice of the elder, all of the disciples began to have a wronged expression on their faces. They were just disciples, yet the Blood Sect sent out theirs elders to take care of them.

As the fight went on, the disciples were falling one by one. Their opponents were simply too overwhelming. As they laid on the floors, with blood oozing out of their mouth, they felt extremely depressed. They were all from a top sect and had such a great future ahead of them. Even Xiao Chun started feeling dejected. 'If only I didn't treat that bastard like a true brother.' Thinking of his sworn brother, Xiao Chun couldn't help but feel even more depressed.

"HAHA. You're all just a bunch of ants. What kind of geniuses you are. You couldn't even last a few hits from I, your daddy. Now give us those pills."

As the elder said that, he went over to Xiao Chun and kicked him a few times before snatching the pills away from him. Being mocked and insulted mere minutes away from death the disciples felt their blood boiling. Alas, they were still unable to do anything against these opponents of theirs.

"Alright, time to end this," one of the four elders said. As he was casting his final spell upon the disciples, they could only look in fright and some even chose to close their eyes.

However, as the spell was about to land on them, a figure suddenly dashed in front of them, and gently raised his hands. The spell didn't have any chance before it went flying in the opposite direction. The young disciples couldn't help but stare in shock at the young man, who seemingly saved their lives. Adorned in an elegantly arranged white robe, he stood imposingly with one hand behind his back while his long, dark red hair swaying with the gentle breeze. They couldn't help but think, who was this man?
