A castle so majestic that it hovered the sky could be seen by everyone living in the heavenly realm. However, no one dared to provoke the people that came from this place. For this place was home to one of the most powerful beings in this universe, Heavenly Emperor Daxiong and his imperial court. Over the past few years, people have noticed that Emperor Daxiong was aging at a rapid pace. His once lush black hair was now white, while his body had begun to grow thinner. What was once a majestic being had now become a shriveled old man. However, don't let his appearance fool you. He was still one of the most powerful beings to ever exist in this universe. In the upper realm, a divine immortal could only be counted with the fingers on two hands. However, Emperor Daxion was a divine deity, and people of his caliber could not even be counted using fingers on a single hand in this current era. Since the age of creation, there have been less than ten beings that have reached this stage. Only one reached Supreme Lord, and that was Supreme Lord Vanos.

"IMPOSSIBLE, this can't be!" While Heavenly Emperor Daxiong was celebrating his daughter Li Xiaowei's birthday, he suddenly received a message from one of his trusted retainers. Before he could absorb the information, he collapsed and fainted. His daughter was his pride. From a young age she was able to cultivate and reach stages that no one else her age could reach. What she cared most for at the current moment was her father who gave her everything. From the day she was born, he spoiled her with riches and cultivation resources. Without her father she could not fathom how life would have turned out.

A few days later, inside the majestic imperial castle, specifically the imperial chambers, Heavenly Emperor Daxiong was seen waking up. For the past few days, princess Xiaowei was waiting by his side in case anything serious happened. Noticing that he finally woke up, Xiaowei ran towards his bed and asked,"Father are you okay? How did this happen to you." Before Emperor Daxiong could comprehend the situation, his daughter jumped up and hugged him tightly. This made him feel warm inside and prideful for having such a filial daughter.

"It's okay, your father isn't in any life threatening situation. I was just shocked at the news I received from my retainer, Dai Jong." Hearing her father's response, Xiaowei became more relieved and started to become curious about how a piece of news from her father's retainer could shock him so much that he went unconscious.

"Daddy, how serious is the news?", asked Xiaowei. Emperor Daxiong's face suddenly became solemn and said," Extremely serious. Lord Vanos's soul has gone missing in the lower realms. Although my retainers were able to locate his soul in the mortal realm, they were not able to find where he actually was in the lower realm. For so many years we knew he was down there, but no matter how hard we looked we still could not find him. His capabilities are too heaven-defying."

Princess Xiaowei was currently confused. "Daddy, isn't Lord Vanos's soul disappearing a good thing. Doesn't that mean he has finally been defeated and destroyed."

"No Xiaowei'er, if he was defeated, his soul would have reached hell, and the Devil Lords would have contacted us already. The only explanation is that something or someone consumed his soul. While she was in thought, Emperor Daxiong suddenly spoke,"Xiaowei'er assemble the imperial court and call all the nobles to come immediately. This is an extremely dangerous situation. Inform them that if they do not come, there families will be annihilated." Princess Xiaowei'er was shocked because he had never used such a threat before. However, she knew that something this dangerous was not up for debate.

When everyone was assembled, Emperor Daxiong began his speech,"Everyone it has come to my attention that Lord Vanos has been defeated and will not return to take his revenge-" When everyone heard this, all of them showed an astonished yet gleeful expression. However before they could reel in their happiness, all of them showed a terrified expression once they heard what was next. "However, Lord Vanos was not defeated by one of our men or the alliance. Something far stronger than them defeated him and consumed his soul." To be able to consume a soul of the one and only supreme lord, this being must be extremely powerful. Everyone understood the underlying message he was trying to send.

"We need to immediately investigate the situation and find this being before its too late. If he was to become more powerful, he would become unstoppable. When meeting this being, you all must not offend him. Anyone who dares to offend him will be considered offending the royal family and have their family executed."
