"Did you forget? My family is rich," I say.

"Hmm...is that so...? Still, what are you going to use all of these potions for?"

"Better safe than sorry. Also, I want to commission a potion, the moonlight beauty." I reply.

"Young master, it's not that I don't want to brew it but I don't have the ingredients," Kasfo says.

"Not a problem," I take out the dazzling azure flower, its snowy aura made Kasfo shiver from the cold.

"What?! How did you find a Blue Beauty?! They don't even sell it on the market!" Kasfo exclaims.

"I was lucky," I reply.

A few servants help me carry the potions back to my room but I leave some behind with Kasfo. I ended up using 5000 golds to buy most potions.

Among the bags of potions, I pick up one containing a gleaming blue liquid.

A potion made by a talented alchemist with decent equipment and common materials.

Increase "Atk" stats when consumed, the increase corresponds to the absorption rate.

This tier-one potion can only increase stats 30 times.

The special effect is present due to Kasfo's talent. Drinking this potion can randomly increase my respective stats from one to three, depending on the absorption rate. Sometimes, it may not even increase your stats at all when the rate is minimal.

The low-grade potion I made previously has guaranteed 5 dexterity due to using "Blue Beauty" as an ingredient.

Damn it...I vastly regret my decision...

No no...without the extra dexterity I probably cannot outrun the orcs. Let's be positive.

Looking bottle, I take a deep breath and use one gulp to finish the entire flask's contents.

It's surprisingly sweet like strawberry-

"UCK!? ARGHHHHHHH!!!!!" A barrage of pain erupts in my body.

The potion chips away at my muscles and forcefully reconstructs my physique. Destroying and replacing.

Stabs of needles pierce my body as I drop to my knees.

Usually, the energy cores in a body facilitate the potion contents and the meridians act as a vessel for the potion, thus eliminating discomfort. The energy cores are like managers, without them, things move haphazardly with no supervision.

The only downside is that the energy cores might absorb the contents, reducing the potion's effectiveness. Although doing so can increase one's mana, there are cheaper and more efficient ways of training mana.

"Huff huff...shit..."

My body slowly gets used to the pain. It feels like the constant aching of my muscles after an intense workout.

I try to stand up but my legs give in and I fall face into the ground.

*THUD!*

"Young master?! What's wrong?" a maid cries outside when she heard the sound.

"N-Nothing...Huff...I'm doing fine." I say.

I pull myself up onto the couch and stare at the ceiling.

Well...my expectations were low but...

Rena's bloodline multiplies mastery by five times and increases every stat by 100% when facing a stronger opponent. In addition, she receives a further buff when the opponent she faces is "evil" in her eyes.

Even with that, it is still incredibly difficult to survive.

My bloodline is too...mediocre.

"Hah...well, I'm not exactly the 'protagonist' of this world so I should expect this," I mumble to console myself.

The Utopia war was the war between the "Hero" of this world and The Demon Lord. It lasted 4 years with humanity's loss after the hero was slain.

As both sides suffered majorly, a temporary truce was declared and both parties retreated.

The start of "Elvis Arcane" places the player in Rena during the beginning of a second war, an inevitable battle that decides the fate of humanity.

I take out two boxes and open them. Inside one is a small diamond crystal and the next is a ring made from black wood and has a small ruby attached to it.
