Marcel lifted Liam and sat him in the large trolley and pushed it in the large mart. The place was so big he couldn't even see the end of it from where he was standing. Marcel took a deep breath and pushed the large cart into the mart. Marcel went around to peruse through the things available before he started buying.

He got everything from bedsheets to towels to duvets to pillows. He was nice enough to let Liam pick the bedsheets he wanted but contrary to his expectations, he did not pick sheets with superheroes or cartoons but rather, just plain ones.

"Are you sure? You don't want something like that?" Marcel asked as he pointed to a set of dark blue sheets that had some muscular man in a cape.

Marcel did not know much about superheroes and neither did Liam since they didn't exactly have a proper chance to enjoy such p.l.e.a.s.u.r.es at the orphanage.

"No, I don't even know who that is," Liam said and blinked at Marcel innocently. Marcel bit his bottom lip and put the plain sheets in the trolley before going to get other things that they would need.

He even got some clothes and even though they weren't luxurious brands, they were much better than what he and Liam currently had. He had bought quite a good number of them of Liam, more than even what he got himself despite Liam's protests.

The large cart was slowly filled with the things that they'll need for the house and he hadn't even bought any cleaning products and things they'll need for grooming. Marcel went to get another cart and filled it as well after he was done, he went to get his things checked out.

He quickly unpacked the things in the cart while Liam was holding on to the bottom of his t-shirt and waited for them to go through so he could pay.

"Do you do deliveries?" Marcel asked the cashier and the young girl raised her head to answer him but rather than answer she was stunned into silence. She hadn't seen his face properly so now that he was looking at her she felt like her mouth had dried up.

"Excuse me? Do you do deliveries?" Marcel asked again. He understood what was happening, he completely understood her reaction so he only smiled politely.

"Ah, yes we do. Will you need these delivered?" she asked, finally finding her voice.

"Yes please," Marcel said with a smile.

"If you could write down the address. I'll arrange for your things to be delivered" the girl said and handed him a notebook. Marcel took the pen from her but then remembered that he did not have his new address.

"Give me a minute, you can continue," Marcel said to the girls as he took out his phone from his back pocket. The girl nodded and continued with her task while Marcel gave Damien a call.

"Hello?" Damien's breathless voice came from the other side of the phone. Marcel paused for a second before he replied.

"Hello, Mr. Matteo?" Marcel said.

"Yes, what is it, Marcel?" Damien asked.

"Sorry for interrupting you, but can you send me the address for my house? I want to get things delivered there" Marcel explained.

"Ah, okay. I'll forward it to you" Damien said and cut the call.

Marcel wondered if he interrupted his bedroom activities or something as his thoughts strayed further and further from what was proper he shook his as if to come back to his senses before looking down and touching Liam's head of soft hair.

His phone vibrated and saw that he received a message from Damien. He opened the message and memorised the address. He had completely forgotten that Avian would have told him had he asked. But Avian did not remind him because he was still annoyed about being ignored by him.

Marcel waited for the girl to finish checking out his items and paid for them before giving her his home address.

After they left the mart, Marcel took Liam to get a haircut at the barber. Liam did not have the chance to say anything as Marcel was already giving the barber detailed instructions on the haircut he wanted for Liam so Liam decided to just keep quiet. As long as it makes him happy.

Liam obediently sat on the chair and the barber skillfully cut his hair according to Marcel's instructions.

After thirty minutes Liam was done with his haircut and he looked so good that Marcel wanted to get a haircut himself but remembered how he was asked not to cut his hair by Sherry so he refrained from doing so.

"Are you hungry?" Marcel asked as the two left the barbershop. Liam shook his head to say no but Marcel saw his small body and decided he'll buy food anyways. He was determined to ask Julia to sign him up for cooking classes. He did not want to just eat take-out for the rest of his life.
