The Treasure She Never Asked For

Chapter 80 - Sending The List.

Marcel's mood was off as he went back into the house. He collected the dirty dishes that were left after breakfast and went to the kitchen to clean up. The camera man followed him as he carried out this set of actions.

He seemed to be very determined to catch how he would keep sighing as he washed the dishes. Once he had finished restoring the kitchen to it's former state, he went back upstairs to rest for a bit longer. At this point, the camera man did not follow him because there were cameras in their bedrooms and they didn't need to physically film them.

Marcel took another warm shower to calm himself down and wore a hoodie with a pair of shorts before climbing on the bed. He pulled out his phone and all the camera could capture was the light of his phone shine on his face.

The audience would probably think that he was being sentimental, and browsing through photos or something. But reality proved to be different. Marcel was actually writing a list of the models that Julia should reach out to and pay more attention to once the first episode was broadcasted.

Marcel had his hoodie up and buried in his comforter as he seriously thought about people that had potential among the contestants.

<So I'm thinking with male models, Alistair should be number one priority, Adrian and Jeremy should be considered after some more observation> Marcel thought to himself as he typed out a text to Julia.

[Why not Nick?] Avian asked, he was curious as to why the other was excluded.

[He looks like a trouble maker] Marcel answered and continued thinking.

<For the girls Lauren and Micah would be good, Chloe and Ellie need a bit more observation> Marcel typed out. He had already dismissed Lydia without even thinking about it much. She seemed like a trouble maker from day one. He knew that it was not a coincidence that she had clung to him on the first day there.

His popularity had risen a lot in the past few weeks, especially after how popular Sherry's music video had become. It was obvious that she was trying to create some hype for herself.

Marcel used to be a woman, he had achieved his position in the past with his own hard work, but not everyone was like that, some people like creating scandals to boost their popularity.

He was unwilling to not only work with, but be in the same management with such a person. Since there were going to be times where he will be required to take care of his juniors. Having to take care of such a person would just create trouble for himself.

He had already started missing the cute boy! Marcel shoved his phone under his pillow and pulled the comforted all the way over his head. He was feeling a bit upset. Marcel unknowingly drifted off to sleep as he made plans to visit Liam once they had a break.

After taking an hour long nap, Marcel was woke up by the sound of rustling bedding. When he opened his eyes, he saw Alistair taking down his bed. He sleepily looked at how he was busying himself, not saying a word.

When Alistair turned around, he saw his roommate looking at him with faint interest in his eyes. He was startled to see him awake since he had not woken up when he accidentally dropped his things in the bathroom.

"Awake? I'm going to do some laundry, do you need anything done?" Alistair asked good-naturedly. He had come to like this new friend of his so he didn't hesitate to include him when he was going to do something.

"Yes please," Marcel answered and stretched his tall body before getting off the bed. He stripped his bed of the sheets too and went to throw them in his hamper that was in the closet.

"When you don't have a place to stay in the future, you can come stay with me," Marcel said with a smile as he handed the hamper to Alistair.

"Why?" Alistair asked in question as he took his time sorting out the laundry.

"If you are willing to do this much, you can stay for free," Marcel said with a laugh as he went to the bathroom to wash his face. After splashing his face with cold water, he felt much more awake than before.

He got out of the bathroom while wiping his face and went to the walk in closet. He took out a bunch of sheets and remade both beds and once he was satisfied, he went to deal with his hair. He kept thinking that he should cut it as he looked at his reflection before combing it. He looked for his hair tie as he did so.

When Alistair walked in, he saw Marcel tying his hair into a messy bun. It wasn't long enough to tie all of it so a lot of strands escaped and framed his face, some even covering the nape of his neck.

"Don't look at me like that, I'll cut it in a few days," Marcel said and Alistair could only shake his head as a shallow smile appeared on his face.

"It suits you, you don't look awkward while handling it," Alistair commented and Marcel paused briefly before chuckling.

"Then I'll keep it for a bit longer," Marcel said and Alistair just shrugged his shoulders without thinking much about it. It was his hair, he can do whatever he wanted.

"I think longer hair would also suit you," Marcel said as he studied Alistair's features. The two of them had left their room and were heading downstairs.

"Too troublesome," Alistair said, not even considering growing it out.

"You might have to do so for a job in the future," Marcel said and smiled when he saw his frown.

"Or would you rather a wig?" Marcel asked and laughed when Alistair held back a shudder. With how he was, he would probably bring his own and wash eat after every use.

Marcel walked with Alistair all the way to the kitchen which had quite a number of people preparing their breakfast. Marcel poured himself a glass of milk and sat on one of the barstool and silently watched the group of people make their diet meals. He became quiet now as he had suddenly remembered that Liam was in a boarding school.

<Has he arrived yet?> Marcel asked Avian as he looked at the glass of milk in his hand.

<If anything strange happens let me know.> Marcel reminded and sipped on his milk. His mood that had been normal earlier had plummeted again in no time, he was really going to miss his baby brother.
