The True Queen

"You don't... know who I am?" Anna asked the woman in front of her. She doesn't know who the person is, and she doesn't believe her reason. She asked many people, but no one helped her. There was this person that threw her medicine, and someone pushed her away too.

They have different reactions when they saw her, but most of them passed by her. Only this woman helped her. But what is her reason? Whos is she? These are the questions in her mind.

Anna is naturally wary of people now. She has trusted the wrong people before and has given her all to them, and in the end, they pushed her to the road of no return.

"I don't know who you are and I'm Marianna. You can call me Marian," the woman introduced herself. Anna blinked her eyes. Marianna noticed her beautiful eyes and stared.

"What...are you looking...at?" Anna asked in a raspy voice and looked away. She doesn't want people staring at her because she knows how hideous she looked now. She's the epitome of every children's nightmares.

"I'm looking at your eyes. They're beautiful, you're lucky that they were not damaged," Marianna comments and moved closer to her but Anna's body tensed. Marianna sighs. "What's your name, little girl?"

"I'm not a little girl," Anna replied. "I'm eighteen-year-old this year, and I'm...cursed."

Anna stared outside the windows, thinking about how cursed she is and her "happy" birthday six months ago turned into a nightmare. The night of her party...those people did this to her.

No one would believe her.

"What's your name?" Marianna asked again. Anna frowns, well, a frown if her face is normal, but now, it's like she's a ferocious monster, but Marianna didn't shy away. This child, after the initial stabbing incident, when she woke up, she didn't try to hurt anyone again.

"I'm...Anna...Rong," she whispered. "I...I don't know who I am!"

Anna found out something that night that she shouldn't have found out. She closed her eyes and tried to forget all those memories away. She wants to bury them until there's nothing left. It's like her body is painful again. She can feel the ache, so she gritted her teeth.

Marianna noticed the peculiarities.

"What's wrong?" She moved closer and ascertained that Anna looked paler. "Nur-"

Anna grabbed her hand and stopped her from calling the nurse. "No...I forgot when it's painful," Anna opened her mouth but closed it again. She endured the pain without letting out a whimper.

Watching her, Marianna's heart broke. An eighteen-year-old girl pushed to be in the brink of despair and forced to endure such pain and humiliation. She's so young...like my daughter. The princess that I lost...Marianna's hands trembled as she thought of this.

She c.a.r.e.s.sed Anna's disfigured face, and they gaze at each other.

"You don't have to remember these things anymore," Marianna said. "I'm here. I'll make them go away!"

Marianna declared such words, and she can make this happen. After she gets out of this room, it will be the end for Anna's traitorous family no matter who they are. She has an inkling that she knows this Rong Family, it's not a common name in this country.

She can find them soon, and they will pay with everything they have.

"I..." Anna tried to say something. "I'll...make them pay! I'll make them die a horrible death!!!"

Anna suddenly sat up and hyperventilated. Her heart rate speeds up, and her face flushed. She forgot all the pain in her body, and she can only see the faces of all those people. All those that lend a hand to do this to her and the mastermind will suffer Anna Rong's version of hell.

Anna trembled all over and tried to get down, but Marianna stopped her. Despite Marianna's petite body, she's able to reign her on the bed. Anna shouted when she sensed someone stopping her; hatred so deep has replaced her common sense.

The personnel outside were alarmed and tried to enter, but Marianna stopped them.

"Stay outside! Don't come in!" She's scared that more people will irritate Anna. Anna's still moving and kicking, but Marianna's an expert.

"You want revenge? Then I'll help you! I'll be your support!" Marianna said to Anna with conviction. "You need to get stronger and stronger. You can't let anyone bully you or hurt you. You can kill them if you like...you can torture them if you want. I'll support you!"

Anna gazed at her with her bloodshot eyes. Marianna's eyes were unwavering and direct, full of power and knowledge.

"From now on, you're Arianna Han. My daughter!"
