The Tyrant Gentle Husband

We stepped deep into the forest. I never felt this fresh before. I felt the shackle that chains me broke into pieces when I received all my memory from Nana. My lung also felt refresh. I sat down on Youkai's back and spread my arms wide. The wind blew my hair like saying 'Hi' to me. I never had time to enjoy the beautiful scenery around me. I only thought about my twin younger brother's happiness above my own bliss, so I never had time to travel around the world and enjoy leisure time alone.

"Youkai, stop here," I said softly towards its' ear.

Youkai, who ran like a car race, suddenly stopped with difficulty. Youkai tilted his head towards me and lowered his body to let me get off with no trouble. Youkai wagged his tails happily with a brimming smile on his face asking for praise. 

"Good job for helping me ran away from your master, Youkai," I said with a stunning smile on my face.

Youkai happily howled while I praised him. Youkai is more like a dog rather than a tiger. Youkai was so small when Luke rescued him from the black market. Youkai already lost his parents when the black hunter attacked his nest. Luke even trained Youkai himself before he had to come back to inherit his family business. 

"It must be hard for you to leave in this island alone without Luke," I stroked Yokai's head gently, and youkai even bowed down his head to make it easier for me to stroke his head. I walked around the forest with b.a.r.e feet because I forgot to wear my shoes. 

'This island is beautiful and has fresh air.'

'I feel suffocated while remembering my past memories, but now it feels lighter because of this beautiful island.'

'I can see Youkai following me from behind while wagging his tails happily.'

'It is not a scene I ever imagine in all of my life. Walking freely in a wild nature without worry about the burden on my shoulder.'

'I also never imagined that I would walk freely in my leisure time with a big wild animal beside me like taking a dog for a walk.'

Youkai ran around me happily like protecting me with his enormous body, and Youkai even glared at a group of a bird who flies to me. Youkai is as possessive as his master, huh. 

'Hush, Hush, I won't let a group of dirty birds like you fly towards my master wife.' Youkai howled with a pitched voice as a sign he was angry.

I could even imagine what did he say to the birds that made the birds looked at him with disgusted eyes.

"Youkai, don't get angry with a group of birds like that, see how scared they are to see you howling like that," I pointed at the bird who hid behind a big tree because they heard Youkai's angry howling.

Youkai rolled his eyes in dissatisfaction, and his expression liked saying that I was unfair towards him because I only defended a small thing.

"Hahaha, of course, I like you too, Youkai," I said while patting Youkai's head. Youkai suddenly forgot his dissatisfaction and wagged his tails cheerfully. Youkai even looked at the bird with so much pride on his face.

I walked in the forest while looking around me. My heart was beating fast, and it meant my pain didn't vanish completely. I don't want to live in pain, but I can't choose how I feel at all. It is the reason why I feel so tight around my c.h.e.s.t every time I am beside Luke. I want to believe him, but I can't do that because Luke never loves me before.

It was raining without any warning. But I don't want to find a place to hide from this rain. It feels like a long time that I don't feel the rain. I sense all my sorrow removed by this rain. I love being alone, and sometimes I find somewhere hidden only to be alone. All of my past memories came back to me one by one, and it was unbearable pain for me.

I can't accept that reality is too cruel towards me. I lived all my life without knowing my parent's affection. My older brother will visit me from time to time when they are not busy. My older brother even spent one day together with me on my birthday. I never asked about our parents.

'Why didn't Mom & Dad come to celebrate my birthday?'

'Were they busy with work?'

Year after year, Mom and Dad never came to my birthday nor even came to one of my sibling's birthday. My older brother acted like usual, and he also didn't care about our parent's absence. I was always curious why they never talked about our parents when they met with each other.

Youkai, who was following me, looked at me with worry written over his face. Youkai also looked at the gloomy sky that didn't have a sign when the rain would stop. The four bodyguards, who also followed behind Elena, were worried that their master would get sick. I didn't want to come back right now because my heart was still in pain. I didn't want to meet with Luke right now because I didn't know what face I would show to him right now. Should I show my happy face or sad face? 

I couldn't see Luke Vander with a happy face right now because I doubted his love for me. I knew that I would become a wicked woman if I couldn't even believe in my husband, but I couldn't stop doubting him because impossible Luke Vander loves me. It is unbelievable that Luke loves me because even my biological parents don't love me at all. 

Love will not only bring happiness into your life, but love will bring unbearable pain that no one can stand the pain. I sat down beside a big tree and hid my face behind my knees. All of the shadow bodyguards were worried, but their master didn't call them at all. 

On the other side, Luke saw the weather was not good, and he began to worry about Elena because she went out without bringing anything with her. Elena is still sick right now, and Luke was anxious that Elena would pass out again without him knowing it. Luke realized that Elena seemed uncomfortable around him since she woke up and remembered everything.

But Luke couldn't keep calm when he still didn't know Elena's whereabouts. So Luke chose to find Elena himself. Luke doesn't want to lose Elena for the second time. After Luke remembered his past life, he had the urge to punch himself because he was too stupid to leave his adorable wife alone.

Luke walked out of the mansion and drove his car to find out Elena's whereabouts. All of this island is his property, but it is still dangerous to walk around without a bodyguard because there are many wild animals here. Luke never hurt the original animal that lived here all their life. Luke is also an animal lover himself, so he appreciates animals so much.

Luke didn't want something to happen to Elena at all because he didn't want to become an incompetent husband for the second time. Luke drove the car while looking around carefully. His gaze stopped while he saw a big white animal beside a big tree, and Luke was sure that was Youkai who sat down obediently. Luke parked his car and walked towards Youkai. After taking a close look, Luke felt sure it was Youkai.

Luke directly ran towards Elena and saw Elena was sitting beside the big tree. 

"Elena?" Luke called out her name, and Elena looked at him with wide eyes.

I sat down beside the big tree with sorrow. I didn't know how long I sat down here without moving, and the rain also didn't stop. I didn't have any energy left to step from here, nor I have any power to come back to Luke's mansion. I couldn't run away from Luke forever. I couldn't leave Luke alone behind, and I still love Luke with all of my heart.

When I almost lost my consciousness, I suddenly heard Luke's voice.

"..na."

"E..le..a."

"Elena?" Luke called out my name, and I turned my gaze at him.

"Why are you here?" I asked Luke with wonder written over my face.

"I am worried about you. Please don't leave me like this again. If you want to be alone, I will give you space to be alone. But don't leave me alone by doing something like this. It makes me worried sick about you." Luke hugged Elena's thin body, and he felt Elena's hot body this instant. 

"Why?" I asked Luke with worried eyes.

"What do you mean by why?" Luke really didn't understand why Elena suddenly asked him why.

"Why do you love me while all this time you never once love me in your heart."
