"WHAT?" I looked at Luke with a shocked expression. What did he say? 

Luke saw Elena's reaction, and Luke suddenly closed his mouth tightly. Luke thinks that Elena is so cute that he wants to hug her in his arms forever without letting her go. Luke walked firmly with Elena in his arms, and they arrived at their bedroom. The study room is not far from their bedroom, but Luke was deliberately slow his pace so that he could hold Elena longer. Luke put Elena on the bed, and he sits down beside her.

"Luke, what do you mean by touching you in the hospital?" I asked him again because Luke didn't answer my question along the way. I also didn't realize when we came into the bedroom.

"Let's talk slowly, and I know that you have so many questions in your mind right now, but before that, let's eat dinner first," Luke holds Elena's hand gently, and his eyes full of affection.

"But I want to talk now," When I spoke to Luke, then my stomach made a noise, and it was embarrassing.

"Your stomach is hungry, and I don't want you to get sick because you don't eat your dinner," Luke rubbed Elena's hair softly. Luke hugged Elena in his arms and said softly, "I love you so that I don't want something to happen to you, so please understand me a little, honey."

I blushed when he called me honey. Why did he suddenly confess to me? It will make me so happy that I can forget everything right here, right now. Even though I already remembered everything, my heart was still beating for Luke. I feel anxious because Luke didn't love me in the past. What shall I do?

Luke saw Elena was in a daze, and it makes Luke's worried. Elena is everything to him, and he also knows how late he realized it. Luke doesn't want to lose Elena for the second time because he already lived in hell after Elena's death.

Lisa came and brought her master's meal. Lisa is happy to see her master's closeness. Lisa only brought their meals and walked away because she didn't want to bother their romantic moment together.

Luke is not bothering Elena while she is in a daze. Luke even feeds her with the patient. Even though Elena is still dumbfounded, but she still can eat her food properly. Luke really wants to laugh out loud while seeing Elena like this, but he hardly resists the laugh. Elena is so cute that it makes him want to jump on her at this moment. After that, they finished their dinner, and even after Luke finished his meal, Elena is still in a daze.

"Okay, let's talk," Luke said with a soft tone, and Elena suddenly turned her gaze at Luke.

I was stunned when Luke said that we would start our talk.

"But you said that we would have dinner first," I asked him.

"We already finished our dinner one minute ago," Luke said while pointed at the clean plate next to the bed.

I looked at the thing Luke pointed with his index finger, and I was stunned.

"Since when did we finish our meal? Why didn't I know anything about this?" I asked Luke again while I laid my head on his firm c.h.e.s.t.

"Because you are in a daze, Elena, and I don't want to wake you up from your daze. Let's start our conversation. What do you want to ask me? I will answer all of your questions," Luke kissed Elena's hair.

I blushed a little when Luke explained everything to me.

"Why do you love me? Do you feel pity for me? I don't need your pity at all. I was anxious when I realized that our marriage is almost three years. I promised myself that I would leave you if you didn't love me in three years of our marriage."

Luke heard Elena's sad voice and his heart ached in pain.

"I know that I am late to fall in love with you, but I don't feel pity for you. I know that I make a big mistake because I don't fall in love with you after we married for three years, but my love for you is sincere. My feelings started blooming when I was in a coma. Maybe you didn't know that I was conscious while I was in a coma. Even though I couldn't open my eyes, but I still could hear everything around me, and I still could feel someone touched me while I was in a coma."

Luke rubbed Elena's head gently.

"After that, I realized that you already stole my heart," Luke added.

"What did you say?" I couldn't believe what I heard from Luke's mouth.

"I could hear everything, and I could sense your touch on my skin when I was in a coma. My parents ever had a big fight, and they even almost divorced in the past. It was why I started to hate someone touching me, but when you touched me, it didn't feel disgusting at all. Your touch even makes me want to taste you," Luke said with a joking tone.

I blushed, and my face turned red like a tomato.

"I love you because it is you, not because I l.u.s.t over your body. If you don't believe in my words, then you can ask my heart yourself. My heart never stops beating for you," Luke said with a gentle voice, then he put Elena's hand on his heart.

I can feel his heart is beating so fast as it wants to get out of Luke's body.

"So, you know everything?" I asked him, and it was embarrassing for me. I never imagined that Luke was conscious while he was in a coma.

"I know everything. I love you not because of pity at all. I love your kindness. I love your sweet voice. Even though I didn't know your face, but it is okay for me. What I like is you, not your face. I don't fall in love with you because you are beautiful, but I love you because you make me comfortable around you. Beauty will disappear as we get older. Beauty will not last forever, but comfort towards my partner will not change until death picks me up."

Luke spoke with a sweet voice in Elena's ear.

"I didn't fall in love with you because you are beautiful. I fall in love with you because of your inner beauty. Not everyone has inner beauty. Your heart is pure, and you also love my parents as much as I love them. You are still kind even after I left you alone. I know that I am wrong for ignoring you for so long. My love also comes late, but I beg you, Elena. Please don't leave me," Luke's eyes turned red, and Luke faced to face with Elena.

"Everyone can have a beautiful face, but their heart won't be as pure as you are. Do you fall in love with me because I am handsome? My handsome face will vanish when I get older and became a wrinkle grandpa," Luke's eyes were moist.

"Does falling in love need a reason? Is it wrong if I love you because I feel comfortable around you? Is it wrong if I love you because of your kindness? Is it wrong if I love you because of your sweet voice? Is it wrong if I love your touch? Do I need a reason to fall in love? My heart gets stolen by you even without me realizing it. It is not because of pity at all. Tell me, Elena, Is it wrong of me if I fall in love with you because you love my parents as much as I love them? I know that you didn't get affection from your parents, but I don't feel any pity for you when I fall in love with you."

Luke's voice was hoarse while he talked because his heart felt like it would break into pieces.

"If it is only a pity, why do I feel jealous when you meet Alex? Why does my heart break into pieces when you ran away from me this afternoon? Do you know that it tormented me when you ran away from me? Do you call this a pity? If it is a pity, then why I feel like I will die without you beside me? Why does it hurt me so much? Luke hugged Elena tightly.
