Laxus was anxious because Shen didn't look like he was satisfied with him at all. Shen didn't say anything when Uncle and Aunt announced our marriage agreement, but Shen asked him privately like this, and it made Laxus nervous. Laxus took a deep breath and opened his mouth to answer Shen's question.

Laxus turned his gaze at Shen.

"First, I want to say sorry to you because I come late. I realized my feelings when Selly left my world. I always thought of Selly as my younger sister, but I never imagined that my feelings didn't love between a brother and his younger sister at all. I never expected that Selly stole my heart when she left my world. I am serious with Selly, and I never use marriage as a game. I only get married to a woman that I love, and that woman is Selly. I came late because I used to be a fool that couldn't differentiate between love for a woman and a love for the younger sister."

Laxus sighed with a dim expression. 

"I won't force Selly if she doesn't want to be with me. I know that I am so slow if it is about feeling. I only think with my logic, not with my feelings at all, so I never realized that Selly already stole my heart with her. Luke also made the same mistakes as me. You can't force someone to love you back, so I won't force Selly to love me. But I will work hard to make her love me again. I know that I am unfair towards Selly, but do you know that it was not only Selly who felt pain. I also felt the same as her."

Laxus added while looking at the ceiling with moist eyes.

"I was the one who didn't realize Selly's feelings, but I was also the one who suffered more than her. Do you believe me, Shen?" Laxus said with a lowered tone.

Shen heard Laxus's confession and his heart ached in pain after hearing it. Shen also knew that Mimi didn't love him at first sight. Shen also suffered a lot while he silently fell in love with Mimi. Mimi liked his big brother, and Shen could only watch Mimi from afar and hoped that she would be happy. Mimi stopped loving his big brother after she knew that her love would be unrequited.

Shen chased Mimi after she didn't love his big brother anymore, and it needed a long time before Mimi accepted him. Shen didn't know why Mimi approved him as her boyfriend, and Mimi never even once said that she loves him at all. Shen continues their relationship without knowing Mimi loves him or not. Shen couldn't judge that his big brother and Laxus are insincere and not whole-hearted.

Mimi also didn't give him any reason to accept him as her boyfriend. Sometimes Shen asked himself about Mimi. Does she love me and need me in her life? 

Shen heard that Laxus talked with a solemn tone, and his eyes were burning in flame. Shen also knew that Laxus wouldn't be playing with his twin sister. Shen looked away from Laxus and said, " I will choose to believe in your words, so please proof it with action soon, Laxus big brother."

Shen walked away without looking back at Laxus, and Shen also didn't know why he cried at this time. Shen walked away, and when he got out of the living room, Shen looked Mimi was waiting for him outside the living room. Shen didn't know why his expression turned dim at this moment.

Mimi came alone to the Vander's house without bringing her second older brother, Rolland Farlen. Rolland had some meetings abroad, so he didn't follow Mimi today as usual. Rolland and Shen is a best friend, so, regularly, they always meet each other. Mimi was so happy to meet with Shen after a long time they didn't meet each other, but Mimi saw Shen's expression was dim and not cheerful at all while seeing her come. Shen was not as usual.

Mimi walked towards Shen and asked him, "What happened? Why do you look so sad like this? Do you know that we didn't meet for almost three days because you were busy with your new game, but why are your expression like this?" Mimi asked Shen with a gentle voice.

Shen turned his gaze at Mimi, and then he shook his head helplessly. Shen doesn't dare to ask Mimi if she really loves him. Shen would be unhappy if the answer didn't match what he thought.

"Nothing happened. Mimi, I know that you recently arrive at my house, but I can't accompany you now. I am sorry." Shen said with an apologetic tone, and Mimi's expression turned dim.

"Why? Do you have a problem right now? You don't look okay at all in my eyes, Shen. What happened to you? If you tell me, maybe I can lighten your burden," Mimi asked. Mimi was worried about Shen because lately, he seemed unhappy.

Shen looked at Mimi and said, "Do you love me?" Mimi was stunned when Shen suddenly asked her about this question. Shen barely asked her this question, and Mimi didn't know why he suddenly asked her like this.

"Shen, what do you mean by asking me like that? You know that I don't like it when you asked me a question like that, right? Why did you ask me this boring question again? I don't want to answer it because it wastes my time." Mimi was nervous because Shen suddenly asked her like this. Mimi didn't know what to do at this moment. Mimi always avoided a question like this and never once answered Shen correctly.

Shen once again heard Mimi answered him like this, and his heart broke into pieces. Shen didn't know why Mimi never answered him correctly. Mimi's answer only made him sad.

"So, you don't love me at all?" Shen answered Mimi's question with a dim expression.

Mimi was shocked when She heard Shen's answer. Shen never got angry at her even if Mimi was stubborn and didn't like to listen to his advice. Shen always forgave him for whatever mistakes she made, and it was the first time Shen asked her like this. Mimi didn't know what to do at this time because Mimi also didn't understand her feelings towards Shen.

Shen saw that Mimi didn't answer him at all and assumed that silence meant yes. Shen touched his broken heart, erased his tears silently & his expression turned to calm like he shed tears was an imagination.

"I understood, so from now on, I let you free, Mimi," Shen said with a sad voice.

Mimi's eyes widened in shock, and asked Shen with anger in her tone, "What do you mean by that? Do you want to break up with me? Shen, it is unfair for me. You were the one who chased me anywhere but now why are you the one who askes me to break up? Are you out of your mind?"

"Yes, I was the one who chased you around. I ask for a break up because you don't love me at all. Do you know how hard it is for me to have a relationship with the girl I love without knowing whether she has the same feelings as me? Never once you said that you love me. Never once you said that you need me. You never once talked about the future with me even though I am your fiance. Every time I asked you about your feelings towards me, but you never once answered my question. You always avoided my question like my question is a virus that you have to kill. Do you know that I envy my big brother that ever got your love and your confession? But I never got one from you at all. Do you know that jealous of my big brother really torment me? Tell me, Mimi, how long will you hurt me like this? How long will I bear this suffering? How long will you hurt me like this until you satisfied? Tell me, Mimi, who is unfair at this time? Shen smiled at Mimi. Mimi didn't expect Shen was really furious at this time. Mimi didn't want to admit defeat, so she said something that she would regret in the future.

"I hate you, Shen. Why did you do this to me? I never imagined that you are a sc.u.mbag like Luke Vander. Do you know that I only think of you to be Luke's substitute for me, and do you think that you are worthy of my heart? I won't meet with you ever if you don't ask for my forgiveness." Mimi walked away without looking back in anger.
