Lisa pretended that she didn't hear anything and walked back to her bedroom after he brought a cup of water to her bedroom.

Luke broke the silence when they stopped speaking for a moment. ​​

"Mom talked to me before that she wanted us to come back and get together to discuss Selly's marriage," Luke said.

"I understand," I answered lightly without further question.

Luke felt something was strange about Elena. Selly hated him because he hurt Elena in the past, but Elena was not angry about Selly's marriage with Laxus.

Laxus also didn't love Selly at the beginning, and he came late too, but Elena didn't give him any reaction as big as Selly showed off to him.

"Elena, do you hear me?" Luke wanted to see Elena's reaction to Selly's marriage, but Elena didn't give any reaction at all about this matter.

"I hear you, Luke," Luke heard Elena was not serious at all when she talked to him about this matter.

"Do you understand what topic we talked about earlier? It is Selly's marriage," Luke said with an impatient tone.

"Of course, I understand this topic. You talked about Selly's marriage, and I understood. So what?" I turned my gaze at Luke and looked at him with dissatisfaction.

"Why didn't you give me any reactions bout her marriage?" Luke asked again.

"What reaction should I give to you at this time? If she can get married to the man she likes, then it is good for her so, what kind of reaction you want me to have?" I looked at my husband with a wave of unconcealed anger in my eyes.

Luke was stunned to hear Elena's answer. Why didn't Elena have the same reaction as Selly? Selly made a big tantrum at him in Elena's office before.

Selly's eyes were full of anger when she looked at him in the eyes like he was the big enemy that she wanted to defeat like a lord devil. Luke could feel how angry Selly was at that time.

Luke couldn't defend himself about this because he knew what did he do wrong in the past. It was not abnormal for Selly to get angry at him. 

Selly even wanted me to divorce Elena if Shen didn't close Selly's mouth, then Selly wished to ask me to divorce Elena because he was not a good husband.

Luke believed that Selly didn't like him to get together with Elena because he never left Elena alone without a companion.

Why didn't Elena think the same as Selly? I saw that Luke lowered his head and stopped talking. I didn't know why he asked me strange questions, but since when, Luke became a timid man?

"What do you want to say to me? Can you stop thinking unnecessary stuff like this? It is annoying," I didn't know why it made me irritated.

What reaction did Luke want me to have when I heard about Selly's marriage? Of course, I was happy to listen to her good news with Laxus.

I saw Luke didn't answer me at all, and he kept looking down like there was something good on the floor. I took a deep sigh. Was I too much when I talked to Luke earlier?

I didn't know why did I become a moody woman? I decided to answer Luke's question. 

"I am sorry that I talked harshly at you, but I didn't know what expression did you expect me to have in your mind. Then I want to know your real thoughts about this matter," I talked gently & pampering tone at Luke, and then Luke turned his gaze at me.

"I wondered why you didn't make a big tantrum as Selly when you heard about her marriage? Did you remember how angry she was at me when I accidentally met her at your office before?

Did you remember how much she hated me when she saw me come to your office like we did some affairs behind your husband?

She even wanted us to separate from each other, and She didn't like me to be with you at all. Selly really wanted to exterminate me from this world with her superpower magic.

It seemed she looked at me as a demon who would destroy this world at any time, so she needed to exterminate me first," Luke didn't want to mention about divorce because he would never divorce Elena in his life.

 I was stunned for a moment when I heard his reason to know my reaction. I laughed when I heard about his last words.

I never knew that Luke had a good imagination on his head. 

"Demon? Exterminate? Superpower magic? Hahaha, you really have a good imagination. If you don't work in the company, how about making a children's story instead?" I laughed a lot until it hurt my stomach.

"Don't laugh at me," Luke looked at Elena with some grievances.

"It is not fair at all. Selly was angry at me so much when she saw us together, but why didn't you get furious at her too when you heard about Selly's marriage?

Do you think it is fair to me? I took care of Selly all my life. Selly was a timid girl and scared of crowded places. I tried hard to heal her easily-frightened heart.

She slowly became cheerful after I tried many things. Selly used to follow me everywhere and called me 'Big Brother' with a smiling face.

Selly couldn't stand far away from me, but now she looked at me with so much hatred in her eyes because she saw us together.

I am not the big brother she used to follow anymore. I am not the big brother she loves the most. I am not the big brother who protects her the most.

In her eyes, I am only a demon that she needs to exterminate. Do you know what I feel right now? I felt so sad, and I understand why she looked at me with so much hatred. 

But it doesn't mean I will feel nothing to her big reaction. I am upset when I thought about Selly's expressiveness that day. I am not angry at you at all. Please, don't miscomprehend me.

I am only disappointed in myself. I love you, Elena," Luke kissed Elena's cheek lightly and walked out of the sofa.

"I will sort out some doc.u.ments in the study room so you can go to sleep without me. Good night, darling," Luke added, and his tone was gentle and pampering when he talked to Elena.

"Luke?" I called Luke's name, but he didn't turn his gaze at me at all. Luke's back seemed upset and in a bad mood.

What kind of doc.u.ment that he wanted to read when he was unhappy like this.

"Luke?" I called him once again, but he walked faster to the study room and closed the study room gently, and I could hear him locked the door from inside.

I didn't know that Luke would give me such a big reaction, and it was the first time that I saw him this upset before. What happened to him? Did I make a mistake that made Luke angry at me?

Did I do something that I shouldn't do? What should I do now? Violet was the right girl to talk about the emotional problem because she had more knowledge of emotion.

I dialed Violet's number on my phone, and Violet picked up my calls on the first ring.

Violet finished her shooting earlier than before. Violet already finished her shower and played with her phone on the bed.

Violet had a hard life with no one cared about her. Violet thought that meeting Elena was the luckiest thing that happened in her life after her mother died.

Violet always remembered her mother's last words before she died. Violet was crying alone in her room because everyone bullied her. Everyone in her house looked at her coldly, and they never thought that she existed in their life.

They only thought of her as a maid daughter, even her father never looked at her in the eye, and he never called her name at all like she didn't have a name.

Violet's father and his mistress never treated her gently, and she always cried alone in her room. Her father never cared about her sick mother at all, and he only thought about his mistress.

Violet's eyes always red when she went to visit her mother's room who located so far from the main house. Her father never thought that her mother still existed and brought back his mistress without hesitation.

Her mother always looked at Violet with a pair of gentle eyes. She never talked about her father at all when Violet visited her. Violet also never mentioned her father in front of her mother because she didn't want to make her upset after she heard about it.

But Violet realized that her mother was not a fool and she already knew everything even though she never talked about it with her.
