The Universal Villain

On top of the cliff overlooking the Seireitei, Shen stood in a clearing in the middle of a forest. Appearing to hold something in his hand, the object slowly disappeared back into the system. In front of him, a hill stood silently. After another moment, the sound of movement could be heard as the top half of the hill began to slide, separating itself from its lower half.

As the top of the hill began to slide farther down, a clear cut could be seen as it grinded against its bottom half. Turning around, Shen walked away as the top half of the hill finally fell rolling down the side of the hill, causing a large amount of dust to be kicked up as the forest trembled. 'It's even more destructive then I thought it would be though I could have controlled it a little better.'

But all in all, Shen was happy with the results of his experiment. Currently, it was still night within the Seireitei, and Shen happened not to be wearing his cloak instead he was only wearing his black attire which wore under it.

Not far from Shen, a crimson sphere of Ki could be seen floating outside of the danger zone of Shen's experiments. Shen took his time walking to it as the object within the sphere became more visible. Shaking violently in the sphere of Ki was Renji's Zanpakuto Zabimaru.

After capturing Renji, Shen tried different types of experiments when it came to his Zanpakuto. He realized he was right about his Sharingan not being strong enough to forcefully enter a lieutenants Zanpakuto. But still, Shen decided to keep it on the side for the future when he would finally be able to enter itas inner world.

After leaving, Renji, Unconcious Shen never stopped trying to breach Zabimaru's inner world, continually bombarding it with pressure from his Sharingan, which of course, didn't bode well for Renji. The moment Shen entered within range of Zabimaru, he tried to enter its inner world with no warning hoping to catch the spirit off guard although he didn't know for sure if it would work.

Sadly, the spirit still resisted, as usual, causing him to sigh as he cracked his neck. "You know I'm sure your master would be in a lot better shape if you weren't so dammed stubborn." Stopping his assault, Shen turned his attention from the Zanpakuto he decided to rest for a moment.

After Shen was finished dealing with Renji, who fell unconscious due to the pain he endured, Renji ended up being taken to the 4th Division Barracks. Releasing his Shikai caused Renji's spiritual pressure to skyrocket, making him very noticeable. In this moment of peace, it didn't take long for the Stealth Force to arrive.

When they arrived at the location, they detected Renji's spiritual pressure, and they were greeted with the sight of Renji lying flat on the ground covered in bruises. Landing in front of the rest of the Stealth Force members, a woman dressed in captain attire with two long braids wrapped in white cloth. Observing the area, it was clear a battle took place.

Narrowing her eyes, she spoke. "You two take him to the 4th Division Barracks then report back to me. As for the rest of you spread out, I want the perpetrator found!" Issuing those commands, the Stealth Force answered simply before carrying out the orders of their captain. Standing there, Soi Fon only took one more look around before disappearing herself, beginning to search for Shen.

Renji, who was brought to the 4th Division Barracks rather quickly despite being unconscious, was sweating like crazy as his face tensed up, showing he was in pain. Laying on the medical bed, Renji was being observed by a tall woman with long braids starting from her chin. "Hmm, I have never seen anything like this before." As the captain of the medical team within the Soul Society, Retsu had seen many types of injuries in her time as a captain, but Renji's seemed to be less physical in her opinion.

Turning to Isane, who was next to her dressing Renji's wounds, she spoke. "Was Lieutenant Renji not brought in along with his Zanpakuto?" As a captain, she felt Renji's spiritual pressure when he released his Shikai and was surprised to find he did not have it with him. Isane looked up and replied with a similarly confused face.

"No, I found that strange as well so I asked them. Apparently his Zanpakuto wasn't with him when they found him unconscious." Hearing Isane Retsu could only wonder. 'Someone not only defeated a lieutenant but also took the time to take their Zanpakuto, but why?' Retsu couldn't help but feel as if the two were related. Even after dressing Renji's wounds, he still seemed to be in pain.

"For now, all we can do is help relieve the pain until we can understand exactly what is happening to him." Saying that Retsu started passing down orders to the Isane and the other nurses around. Even with that, Retsu couldn't shake the feeling that this was only going to get bigger as time went on.

As Soi Fon continued to search for Shen on, she felt a tremor along with an explosion. Following the sound, she was face to face with the bottom of a cliff. Looking up the cliff face, she heard the tremors continue to resonate from the top. "Hmm." Bending down for ng up the moment, Soi Fon launched herself and began scaling the cliff face.

These tremors, of course, wherefrom Shen, who was back to practicing not wanting to waste another moment. While resting, he realized he would need to use his Sharingan quite a lot for it to finally reach the level of three tomoe. Also meaning he would need to use it in a fight that luckily corroded with his current idea.

Shen didn't plan to stay in Soul Society for much longer. Although it brought him a lot of opportunities, it was very constricting. Spending some time with Renji's Zanpakuto, Shen ended up having an idea. He had been continuously thinking about the Zanpakuto and their inner world's, and with that came another concept which seemed to be even more promising.

If Zanpakuto could be used for XP, then what about other things? That was the thought he had many times, and from it, only one object came into mind, and that was the Hogyoku. Shen couldn't help but think about what the Hogyoku could allow him to do even if it couldn't be turned into XP it had other uses.

'Of course, there was always one problem.' Shen had all the reasons he needed to take the Hogyoku. Other than having to escape the Soul Society, which was honestly child's play for Shen, he would need a way to extract the Hogyoku from Rukia. By himself, he had absolutely no way to take it from her soul, and he didn't want to risk losing the Hogyoku by killing her.

'Screw it!' Shen had been debating what to do for a while. In the end, he couldn't destroy Zanpakuto Spirit's forever. The Hogyoku was like an unlimited power source, and if he destroyed it, who knows how much XP it could give.

'I'll just take Rukia and find a way to extract the Hogyoku later.' Shen had access to the System. There had to be an ability that would allow him to take the Hogyoku, and until then, he could continue with his original plan.

With that in mind, Shen didn't slack off and planned on getting his Ki Control to max manually before that time. He was going to kidnap a prisoner in the center of the Seireitei. There is no way he could go there underprepared. Standing up, Shen prepared to continue his Ki Control training, but before he could even get in position, his eyes narrowed as a look of shock appeared on his face.

'Crap!' Shen quickly dodged a blade that came crashing down only inches away from cutting its target.

After dodging his attacker, Shen jumped back. Sliding on the ground, Shen began to stop himself trying to see who had just attacked him. As the dust cleared, Soi Fon's figure came into focus as a shadow. "I have found you. Intruder."

The dust finally cleared, revealing Soi Fon staring straight at Shen.
