The Universal Villain

Shen didn't have to wait for long as Ichigo and Isshin came into view they didn't bother greeting Shen. The moment they spotted him, they both raised their Zanpakuto before letting loose a Getsuga Tenshou. "Hya!" The two Getsuga merged together forming one powerful attack. With a glance even with the attacks combined together, Shen could tell Ichigo had grown stronger.

As the father-son attack hit the ground, a loud resonated as a large puff of smoke shot up into the air. "Sorry, we took so long to get here. Landing next to Urahara, the two of them rushed here as fast as they could. "Well neither of us is dead, so I can't say your late." Laughing, Urahara looked at the massive dust cloud caused by the two of their attacks.

"In any case, Yoruichi ended up getting injured although she remained conscious and can take care of herself, it's best we get her to Orihime as soon as possible." Listening to Urahara Ichigo was slightly surprised by Urahara's's condition as well as Yoruichi's's. The two of them were strong, to say the least, but they were already in such a state after fighting with Shen for a few hours.

"In any case now that we're here we can continue with the plan right?" Isshin looked at Urahara nodded after thinking for a moment. "He has had his guard up, but as long as we don't alert him, then it should work." Hearing Urahara say sure made Isshin chuckle. "Should, huh? Well, that's reassuring."

It was only after they had all finished talking did Shen remake his entrance. Walking out of the crater created by the two Getsuga Tenshou's's Shen looked unharmed. "He really is ridiculous walking out of that unscathed." Flashing a calm grin both him and Ichigo prepared themselves. "Hey, don't you guys find it weird that no one has shown up by now." As the three of them stood ready to fight Ichigo couldn't help but notice, no one had shown up.

"I mean after he invaded the Soul Society and caused such a commotion in Katakura Town, there is no way the captains haven't noticed right?" Listening to Ichigo Isshin and Urahara realized he was right. No matter what with this much spiritual pressure being thrown around in the human world, there is no way the Gotei 13 would sit ideally by. "I think I can answer that."

Turning his head to the side slightly Shen let a mischievous smile fall onto the three of them as they started to get a bad feeling. "What did you do?" Tightening his grip on Zangetsu, Ichigo began to get slightly anxious. Looking at the three of them Shen thought to himself for a moment. ''I doubt telling them would matter much.'' Now that the Seireitei was destroyed information about it or its condition was useless to Shen also meaning he didn't have to hide it.

"You see the Gotei 13 is no more so there wouldn't be anyone to send you help." Putting it bluntly to Shen didn't have to hold his words back. The Gotei 13 was truly gone, and soon the captains would be dead, so he wasn't lying either. "What?" Reacting to Shen's's words in shock, Isshin and Urahara were the most surprised from Shen's claim.

Listening to Shen Urahara and Isshin had a hard time believing it for more than one reason. Even if Shen did beat all the captains, how could he have possibly defeated Yamamoto? Noticing the look of disbelief on their faces, Shen could understand. He couldn't truly count his fight against Yamamoto as a victory even though he did win.

"Well, Yamamoto was a special case. I had to do something special to deal with him. And even then I can't take all the credit. I got help after all, isn't that right?" Turning their Heads towards the person Shen looking at the caused Ichigo to become stunned. When Ichigo saw who was standing there silently, he froze as he began to stumble over his words. "Ru- Rukia?"

After kidnapping Rukia, Ichigo would have never expected that the kidnapper would just bring their hostage to the battlefield instead of keeping her hidden. "Ya I was surprised like you, but I think he did something to her." Staring at Rukia Urahara couldn't help but look at her cold expression that still gave a sense of unfamiliarity compared to the normal abusive Rukai he knew.

"You bastard! What did you do too, Rukia." Hearing the possibility Shen did something Ichigo didn't bother controlling his temper as he yelled at Shen. Staring at Ichigo with a passive expression, Shen didn't seem bothered as this was the reaction he wanted. For Urahara, all it took was injuring Yoruichi to throw him off his game slightly, and it was the same for Ichigo with Rukia.

"Nothing past the initial transformation, everything else she after was out of her own free will." Shen wasn't lying in a sense although he did control her she could still act on her own, and if her will was strong enough, she could have stopped him from killing Renji or refused to kill her brother like Vegeta. But in the end she simply followed orders mercilessly not even bothering to resist.

"Honestly she can be more bloodthirsty than me." Listening to Shen ramble on about Rukia Ichigo's's mood continued to decrease. "Liar! Rukia would never help you... She gave me the power to save my family. She's my friend, and I refuse to believe that she would ever help you!" Glaring at Shen who had actually forgotten who he was talking to for a moment.

''This is my first time hearing a proper friendship speech from a protagonist. I can see why the villains always find these speeches so stupid.'' Shaking his head lightly, Shen continued. "Well it's fine if you don't want to, believe me, I'll just let you learn from the source herself." Waving his hand, Shen called Rukia over who had still been waiting patiently even after Ichigo's's arrival.

''I can't say I'm not excited about this. I want to see just how much misfortune a protagonist's plot armour can take.'' The good guys always win, that was the troupe, and except in stories where the protagonist is a bad guy, it is never broken. Staring as Shen Ichigo was surprised when he saw Rukia walk over to Shen's's side. "They say seeing is believing." Darkening his gaze, Shen continued. "So I'll let you have a sweet moment with your ''Friend'' as she takes your life."

Hearing Shen Rukia didn't hesitate as she drew her Zanpakuto out of its sheath, her eyes were deadlocked on Ichigo. "Rukia?" As Ichigo looked Rukia in the eyes, he felt a shiver before she began to attack. Holding up his Zanpakuto block Ichigo was quickly knocked back by Rukia's's first strike sending him further away from Shen and the others.

With their Zanpakuto's's pushing against one, another Ichigo tried to speak to Rukia. "Rukia what are you doing? Snap out of it!"
