The Universal Villain

In less than an instant, both Shen and Urahara had appeared in an entirely different location miles away from Karakura Town. With the Soul Reapers no longer being a threat, Shen didn't have to worry about being hunted down at least for the time being.

Taking a breather for a moment, Shen was actually beginning to feel tired. He had been teleporting here and there fighting all different types of people. Even with his stamina, he couldn't help wanting to finally take a break without having to worry about something or someone.

Turning his gaze over to Urahara, Shen noticed he had collapsed. He still had to go get Rukia, and leaving someone like Urahara alone unsupervised was just asking for trouble. Thinking about this issue for a moment also made Shen remember something else. 'I completely forgot I still have to buy Kamui.'

Before, he wanted Kamui to be a sort of safe haven as well as a base. But after he planned to destroy the Seireitei, its importance in his head dropped significantly. Opening his stats menu, not much had changed. Even after killing Isshin along with his other stunts, none of it was enough to level him up.

Thanks to the strange way the system worked, his stats changed whenever he leveled up. While this was useful in the beginning when leveling up was easy, Shen realized how annoying this could get. If he ever got to the point he had to kill god-like beings to level up his stats would be stuck at a specific position for a long time.

'I guess that means I'll have to rely on my skills more than before if I want to get stronger. Luckily I saved a crap ton of SP up for a situation just like this.' With over 10k SP, Shen was somewhat confident he could buy anything in the shop he needed one way or another. Coming out of his thoughts, Shen opened the system shop and began browsing the Mangekyou Sharingan abilities available.

Looking over all the different skills available, Shen couldn't help but frown. 'Once again, the requirements stop my advance.' In truth, there were a lot of things Shen could buy with SP alone. It was just the requirements for obtaining those abilities were insanely high. 'One day, I shall have a Susanoo of my own.'

Pulling his eyes away from the Susanoo, Shen selected Kamui among the list of different abilities. Just like all of the other things had bought, Shen felt every ounce of knowledge about the technique flow into his head. It was a weird sensation, to say the least, but it always left him feeling refreshed.

For now, he decided to ignore the abilities since he didn't really find a need for any of them. Although Tsukiyomi was very useful in a world where no one can genuinely counter his Genjutsu, he didn't need it the same going for Amaterasu. Closing the shop, Shen was greeted by two new abilities appearing under the abilities section.

Left Eye Kamui[Lv 1]: The user can distort space using their Mangekyou Sharingan. The user's left eye allows them to create a vortex-like space at a long-range whose size is dependent on the user's will. Anyone caught within this vortex will be s.u.c.k.e.d in and morphed, teleporting them to a pocket dimension.

Right Eye Kamui[Lv 1]: The user's right eye allows them to use Kamui at close range either on themself or anything they are touching. Using this ability, the user can make certain parts of their body intangible as well as bringing themselves into the pocket dimension connected to Kamui.

After taking a brief look over the two new abilities, Shen had almost forgotten that Kamui's abilities were separated depending on the eye. After obtaining these two abilities, Shen felt the urge to test them out, but his eyes had already lost more than half of their light. 'I really do need to think of a way to let my eyes recover. At Least until I can find an Uchiha with a Mangekyou Sharingan.'

"All right, then let's deal with you first." Turning his gaze to Urahara, Shen activated his Mangekyou Sharingan as he spoke. "Kamui!" Suddenly the space surrounding both Shen and Urahara began to warp and fold as if a black hole was bending the light around them. After a few seconds, both Shen and Urahara had disappeared from the Human World.

Not soon after the two of them disappeared, the space within a dark dimension began to unfold on itself as both She and Urahara appeared. As the warping came to an end, Shen took a brief look at his surroundings and just like he thought it was the same. Dark pillars of different sizes and heights protrude from the empty void in every direction, like city buildings.

Currently, Shen was standing on the biggest of these pillars spanning over two hundred meters in each direction, leaving them plenty of space. Looking at the dimension and with its boundless layers of pillars, Shen couldn't help but compare it to his own pocket dimension. While the Kamui dimension didn't have a sky nor any source of light, Shen could still see perfectly fine compared to his dimension, which was a void with an invisible floor. "Well, it's definitely less gloomy."

'Speaking of dimensions, I wonder if I can still use my ability in here.' Thinking about the differences between his dimension and this one, Shen activated Mugen No Ryoiki. And like it always did, a dark portal that allowed one to enter an abyss opened up. Revealing a surprised look, Shen didn't expect to actually open a portal to a pocket dimension in a pocket dimension.

'Though they did it in the anime, so I guess it makes sense. Well, in any case, this place is cut off from the Bleach universe, making it perfect for a base.' Waving his hand, Shen created ten Void Warriors from his dimension, bringing them into Kamui's pocket dimension. "You guys watch him make sure he doesn't do anything stupid." Reacting to Shen's commands the moment the Void Warriors were fully formed, they formed a formation around Urahara.

As they followed Shen's simple command, Shen didn't forget to place a barrier around Urahara as well. 'You can never be too careful.' Nodding his head, Shen felt this should be enough to contain Urahara, especially in his weakened state. 'Now then time to fetch Rukia.' It only took a moment for Shen to lock onto the mark he placed on her before vanishing from the Kamui Dimension.

Having his vision instantly change, Shen was greeted by a sword which flew past as his face. Whistling Shen turned his gaze to Rukia, who had suddenly felt someone appear behind here. "I came all the way here to pick you up, and you try to stab in the face." Saying this in a playful yet slightly threatening voice made Rukia quickly retract her Zanpakuto as she backed away.

"Master Shen, I thought you were someone else." Rukia's clothes revealed red lines covering her skin as if she was pressed against a wire. Along with that, she looked mentally exhausted as well as physically. Shen couldn't help but wonder what happened in her fight with Ichigo. Looking around, Shen saw they were in partially collapsed buildings that had been buried underground slightly.

Gazing at Rukia for a moment, Shen couldn't help but think something weird had happened here that she wasn't telling him. "In any case, we'll be staying somewhere new from now on, and you'll be getting a new partner, so play nice." Hearing Shen's words, Rukia nodded silently as he activated his Mangekyou Sharingan as the space around them began to fold, pulling both Shen and Rukai into the Kamui dimension.
