The Universal Villain

In an instant, a wall of cherry blossoms created by Senbonzakura was erased as each slash caused an entire division of them to disappear into the blade's abyss. Removing the obstacle in front of him, Shen looked at Byakuya, who was floating in the air in the distance.

Shen had been fighting the two of them for half an hour, but even in that short period, he could tell they were already getting exhausted. Pulling back his sword for a moment, Shen began to perform a flurry of jabs in Byakuya's direction as the sword extended itself clearing the hundred-meter gap between them.

A task like changing a weapon's size barely required him to use his Mangekyou Ability, so Shen had managed to get quite proficient in doing so in combat. Facing Shen's attack, Byakuya used Flash Step multiple times, but even then, cuts began to appear on his body, tearing his white Haori to shreds.

As he continued to move, Byakuya spoke. "Bakudo Number 81 Danku!" A screen of white light formed in front of Byakuya. Stopping his movement to rest, Shen saw Byakuya had stopped moving thanks to the safety of Danku, causing him to smirk. 'Gotcha.' Flying across the sky Byakuya's eyes contracted as he saw a black streak pierce straight through Danku

"Tch!" 'He broke through Donku so quickly. I let my guard down.' Looking at his shoulder, Byakuya clenched his teeth. Shen's blade had pierced straight past his defenses into Byakuya's shoulder. It was only after Byakuya was injured that Shen retracted his sword, taking a step back he dodged a wave of blossoms that were heading in his direction.

This attack, of course, originated from Sebonzakura's Spirit. He had initially been waiting at the sidelines, looking for a chance to attack while Shen's guard was down. But Shen's last attack almost killed Byakuya, forcing him to attack Shen while he still had his guard up.

Either way, with Shen, slowly leveling observation Haki he could quickly react to things within a specific range. Turning his attention to Senbonzakura's Spirit, Shen spoke to him. "I was just trying to get rid of the interferences, no need to be so hasty." Letting the sword in his hands disappear back into his dimension, Shen held his hand out flat in front of him. Shen began to move his hand to his left. Periodically a normal-sized orb of Ki would appear overall, generating six of these orbs.

Afterward, he looked towards Byakuya, who was gripping his shoulder as his clothes began to stain red. 'What is he up to now.' Shen raised his hand, forming the shape of the gun with his thumb and index finger. "Bang." Moving his hand slightly, one of the orbs rocketed towards Byakuya.

The orb was extremely fast and barely made any sound as it flew through the air. Looking at it approaching closer, Byakuya flew higher into the air, but the orb instantly corrected its flight path tracking Byakuya like a hawk.

Looking at this, the Spirit sprung into action as it held its hand out a few petals came together, forming a blade in his hand as he charged at Shen. However, even in that short period between the Spirit reaching him, Shen had enough time to fire the five remaining Ki orbs as Byakuya.

"Now for you." As Shen held out his hand lazily, the Spirit slashed down with his newly formed sword only for it to be caught in Shen's hands. Covering his inner palms with Haki, Shen squeezed the blade, which caused it to glow pink before turning back into cherry blossoms.

Looking at his sword disappear, the Spirit froze as Shen moved his hand to his side. The next moment the back of Shen's hand slammed into the Spirit Of Senbonzakura's face sending its flying across the ground like a ball. Hitting the land, its body flew back up into the air, performing a roll.

It took around ten seconds for the Spirit to finally come to a stop lying on a large pile of dirt that had been pushed along with its body. "Ugh…" Coughing a few times, the Spirit slowly sat up as he looked at Shen. His upper body armor was cracked and destroyed, along with his hair being completely loose no longer styled as it was when they first met.

Managing to stand up, the Spirit moved both of its hands, controlling all of the remaining blossoms of Senbonzakura's Bankai as they gathered behind him. Facing this, Shen began to walk forward slowly, but firmly each step brought him closer and closer. Looking at Shen, the Spirit spoke in a severe tone. "This ends now!"

Focusing everything it had on Shen, the mountain of blossoms charged towards Shen like a tube-like tsunami stretching over the entire area in front of it. "You brought this on yourself." Looking at Shen, the Spirit watched as a constant wave of blossoms completely covered his figure. 'Even if he tries to break free like last time, he won't be able to stop it.'

Taking a deep breath, the Spirit was about to turn its attention to Byakuya. Until it suddenly felt something. Turning his gaze back to his attack, he continued to stare straight ahead as his eyes began to fill themselves with shock.

He had hit Shen with his attack, and Shen didn't cancel it out either. Instead, Shen was walking as a crimson light shined over his body. He was still walking towards the Spirit. "That's… That's impossible." It had used all its power to perform this attack due to it being an infinite loop of blades it should be impossible for anyone to move through it.

It was at that moment that Shen's voice fell, snapping him out of his daze. "Haven't heard that before." He had no time to move as Shen's hand reached out, grabbing the Spirit by the neck. Soon after that, his entire body exited the Spirits attack entirely unharmed except for that one cut on he got on his cheek.

As this occurred, Byakuya could be seen flying in the distance as he looked at one of the orbs following him he spoke. "Bakudo Number 31 Shakkaho." Holding out his palm, a light red sphere appeared in his hand and fired itself towards one of the orbs following him.

Flying past the other orbs, the two of them clashed, causing a red explosion to appear in the middle of the air. 'If all those hit me in this state.' Turning his gaze downwards, Byakuya noticed Shen was holding his Zanpakuto Spirit by the throat. Holding his Zanpakuto in front of him, Byakuya spoke swiftly. "Scatter Senbonzakura."

Earlier Byakuya found activating his Shikai in his Spirit's inner world was, for some reason, more difficult than usual. But even so, he had no choice but to use Senbonzakura. He quickly blocked all five remaining orbs before pointing towards Shen on the ground. 'I can make it.'

As Senbonzakura rushed towards the two of them on the ground, Shen turned his head towards Byakuya with Sharingan activated. Mid attack Byakuya's vision changed as standing in the place Shen and his Spirit was Rukia in a vulnerable state. Looking at Rukia Byakuya's attack faltered for just a moment before his vision returned to normal.

But by that time it was too late. Staring at the ground, Byakuya saw Shen toss the Spirit in the air before firing a wide shot of Ki engulfing its body. As reacting to this, Byakuya felt a sudden burst of pain as his Soul began to break, causing him to fall out of the sky.

Meanwhile, Shen lowered his hand as he looked towards Byakuya's direction. "I guess Bankai level Spirits aren't as strong as I thought they would be."
