The Universal Villain

Chapter 84 - Hueco Mundo

It's been a couple of hours since Shen had entered the barrier to train. In this time Rukia would meditate with her Zanpakuto while pouring her Reiatsu into the barrier while Urahara either relaxed or messed around with different types of Kido. Having all this time to themselves gave them a break from the constant fighting and tense atmosphere.

"Hey, Rukia." Laying on the ground, Urahara looked over at Rukia who was sitting next to the barrier. Rukia did not speak, but she made a sound showing she was listening. "Don't you think this place is a bit empty? I mean I don't mind it but Master Shen I bet he would if I made him a place to live."

Ever since Shen left Urahara's personality became more concrete. He thought out loud and was sometimes really annoying bugging Rukia constantly during her meditation which caused her to ignore him almost completely every time he talked. Hearing Urahara Rukia did not respond, ignoring him entirely.

"You're so cold you used to love talking to me." Relaxing on the ground, Urahara finally heard Rukia speak. "Urahara." Sitting up, he looked towards Rukia surprised that she actually decided to talk. "Switch." And just like that Urahara's face drooped. "Already? I didn't even get to relax." In the end, no matter how efficient it was sitting in front of a barrier for an hour was incredibly dull.

Walking up to Rukia, she stood up as Urahara took her place sitting down in front of the barrier. "I wonder why Master Shen wanted me to make the barrier, though. Maybe it has something to do with his powers? What do you think, Rukia?" Turning to look at Rukia, he saw she had already begun meditating and continued to ignore him.

"Fine. I'll just think by myself." Turning his head back towards the Barrier Urahara began thinking to himself. Even though Rukia had been with Shen for quite some time now, she still didn't fully comprehend his powers or how he receives them. Sometimes she seems he gazes intently at nothing, swiping the air or getting excited over nothing.

In the end, she just chose to ignore it since knowing wouldn't change anything. But of course, the one thing that didn't change above all since Urahara came under Shen's control was his interest. And just like that the remaining few hours began to fly by until it was finally time for Shen to exit the barrier.

"Rukia! I'm almost out of Reiatsu switch so I can open the barrier before I collapse!" It was purely thanks to the fact they were continually getting stronger that they could do this without actually collapsing. If an ordinary captain tried, they would be out cold for a long time. Hearing Urahara Rukia came out of her meditation as she walked over to the barrier this time, placing her hands on it while standing.

"Hurry up." Looking at Urahara with narrow eyes, these were the only words she had actually directed at him. Standing up, Urahara muttered to himself. "I hope Master Shen gets another of us soon. You're no fun to talk to." Stepping in front of the barrier moved his hands, causing the opening within the barriers wall to reopen.

With the barrier open the sound of footsteps could be heard as Shen's figure came in view, stepping out. On the outside, it didn't look like anything significant had changed from the moment Shen entered the barrier. However, that was simply on the surface. Internally, Shen bustling with energy.

Looking at Urahara and Rukia as she came from the side of the barrier to greet him, Shen thought to himself. 'It's been so long since I've talked to someone.' As his time within the Image Training increased by two hours once again, he wasn't expecting the cooldown for it to lower by two hours as well.

"Welcome back." Greeting Shen Rukia stood by while Urahara spoke. "I prepared the Garganta like you asked although it was a little tricky due to this place." Referring to the Kamui dimension, Shen didn't even think if creating a Garganta in a pocket dimension was possible after all, not everyone could defy the laws of physics.

Hearing Urahara Shen had to give him props. "Good, then we should be able to head straight to Hueco Mundo right?" Hearing Shen Urahara nodded replying that they could leave the moment they were ready. Listening to Urahara Shen didn't hesitate he felt he was as prepared as he was going to be to fight Aizen.

"Alright then open it." Giving Urahara to go to Urahara nodded, snapping his fingers. Suddenly a jagged black line appeared in the space in front of them when Garganta appeared. Opening slowly, the Garganta pushed the space it was occupying away, revealing a strange void. "This will take us straight to Hueco Mundo though I don't know how close or far we will be to your d.e.s.i.r.ed location."

Hearing Urahara, Shen simply nodded as he turned to Rukia. "Bringing you here is a danger and a benefit, stay close and be on your guard." Shen knew it was risky bringing Rukia to Hueco Mundo, but it was also the best option for him to keep the Hogyoku close. It will lure Aizen in and stop him from escaping as well as keeping goal one close to goal two. In the end, Shen just had to be confident in his ability to keep her from being kidnapped.

Walking towards the Garganta, the two of them followed suit as the barrier in the Kamui Dimension became unstable and dispersed. As soon as all three of them entered the Garganta, it shut itself with a slam as the space it occupied bent before returning to normal. The Garganta wasn't instantaneous like The Flying Thunder God, so it took the three of them a bit to arrive in Hueco Mundo, but soon enough they did arrive.

As a Garganta opened in the world of hollows above the white sand and under the black sky along with the white moon. It was indeed a strange world as three figures flew out of the Garganta landing in the sand below, causing the ground to shake as sand rose into the air.

As sand fell back down to the ground, it seemed to be avoiding the centre of the crater as an expanding pressure cleared the smoke. Standing in the crater, Shen looked towards Urahara. "Did it have to be in the air?" Shen really didn't like sand after all. It's coarse, rough, and irritating, and it gets everywhere.

And that little landing they did almost got them covered in it. "Sorry Master Shen I didn't know we would be so high up in the air." Seeing Urahara apologize, Shen sighed and let it go as they jumped out of the crater. 'So this is Hueco Mundo?' Looking around, Shen nodded his head as it looked exactly the same as he thought it would.

Turning his gaze straight ahead of them, Shen had to admit their luck was pretty good. Looming over Hueco Mundo was a massive structure with four pillars standing tall in front of it. "And there it is. Las Noches."
